My Xperia Z2 d'ont turn on - Xperia Z2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys,
Today my Xperia Z2 does not want to start, I tried everything and it does not work
I can see the SONY startup screen, but each time it restarts to this screen all by itself.
For information my phone is rooted with a recovery and xposed installed, I did not do any manipulation that can block it, I turned it off at night normally and in the morning it did not want to turn on.
I can also enter the recovery
I tried to restart from the recovery, not working, I erased the cache and the dalvik cache but it does not work
Help me please, I do not want to lose my data, (sms, contacts...etc)
Thank you in advance

[Q] Help handset bricked trying to install custom ROM

Hi I have attempted to install experience rom on my xperia U. Firstly i successfully unlocked the boot loader. I then rooted it and installed CWM recovery all still good. I the transferred the ROM image to the phone went into recovery did a wipe data factory reset and wipe cash partition. Also wipe dalvick cache. Selected the ROM and install started, it hung, only way out was battery pull, I went back into recovery same thing happened, finally tried once more and it hung at about 75%. Now phone goes in a loop sony logo to black screen and I cant get into recovery mode. I have searched to see if I can find a way out but not found a way around it yet. I would be very grateful for any help with this.

flash stock ICS Rom ftf with flashtool
Thanks for help
Thanks I managed to flash stock Gingerbread in the end.
In case anyone else has a similar problem here is a handy guide I found. (youtube.com/watch?v=hPPWRXcsz7g)
Where it says connect phone I found you need to connect it in fast boot (hold volume up button as you connect it) when the software is ready to flash un-plug phone then connect in flash mode (hold volume down button as you connect).

[Q] Help me with my bricked Xperia mini pro

I need help.
Yesterday, my little brother pulled the battery of my Xperia Mini Pro (SK17a) while this was factory reset.
Right now, my phone is not been able to turn on. Just stays a long time after the SonyEricsson logo for a few hours. (sometimes fails to start, but only see the notification bar with the time. No menu or anything, everything is in black)
Try to flash it in a thousand ways and I realized I didnĀ“t enter the recovery mode ( turning on pressing a combination of buttons ... I already tried about 13 or 14 with the physical and the tactile buttons next to the button to turn on the phone) but the only thing that I thought would serve not served. The only different answer is when I connect the usb cable to pc to flash it (by pressing the VOLUME- but is useless.
PS: Before I had already rooted and flashed the terminal correctly, but wanted to go back to reset. I've tried everything, but no response. Just not detected by my pc.
(Sorry for the english. This is not my language)
Greetings from Chile!!! ;D
Fix with pc companion go update softwer then repair my phone and folow steps

Hi,
I had the stock Ice Cream kernel .587 and installed the CWM to flash the Zelly Cream 6.0_Rejuvenated 12.03.14
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2155803&highlight=first+boot&page=329
ROM.
My xperia mini was rooted but the bootloader was locked.
The installation of the ROM looked ok but at the first boot it stacked for more than half hour one the SONY logo boot screen.
It doesn't turn off. I removed the battery, and turned it on but it stucks on the same SONY logo boot screen.
I think i can't use flashtool as the bootloader is locked... what can I do? Is there another tool to flash the official ROM or my buck up from CWM?

Did you wipe everything the dev told you to? You should be able to boot into android that way. If that fails, flashtool is your friend. Restoring a nandroid backup should do the trick.

.... Ok I'll try flash tool (you mean the Sony's flashtool)?

Use flashtool to flash back the stock rom and it'll work again
Yes, there are wipes to do in cwm like doing a factory reset / wiping cache / sometimes you have to wipe the system too. Read and follow the instructions in the rom thread and you should be fine

Ok I managed to flash the stock ROM,
I'll try to reinstall the modded ROM how can I wipe everything that is needed?
Should the wipping be performed before ROM's installation or afterwards?
Thank you for your support!

Step 1:
Did you install a new custom rom
if Yes: Did you do a full wipe (If no do it again)
if Yes: Did you flash the proper kernal (If no do it again)
if Yes: Try downloading the Rom again do factory reset, wipe cache partition, go to mounts and storage format all except sdcard and reinstall rom it should work
PS: I always use fastboot its faster safer and quick to setup:angel:

[Q] Stays in boot procedure.

Hey,
just flashed my Xperia Z2.
First unlocked, then flashed boot.img, then installed cyanogenmod and gapps.
Now the phone restarts but stays an boot screen. Since about 10 minutes.
I'm afraid of having an empty accu in the end.
What to do?

You probably forgot to wipe your data and cache before you installed Cyanogenmod.
I went through this same thing and even though I remembered to wipe data and cache before I installed Cyanogenmod, I didn't notice that during the wipe, CWM gave me an error mounting /data
What I had to end up doing to fix it all was:
1. FTF flash the original D6503 ROM to my device again.
2. Flash the boot.img for CWM.
3. Boot into CWM.
4. Wipe data and cache. (This time it worked no problem.)
5. Install Cyanogenmod
6. Install Gapps
7. Reboot
8. Enjoy the device.

You have to do this to recover from when you turn your phone into a brick.
EDIT: Oops, I just noticed I made a mistake up there. I actually flashed the D6503. NOT THE D6502. I have a D6503 device.

Phone soft bricked. Please help!

Sony Xperia Z2, locked bootloader, rooted SuperSU.
I was running MM but wanted to update my phone to latest Firmware .575 Marshmellow. Unfortunately, I made the rookie mistake of not making a backup because I was running low on space. Flashed, wiped cache/dalvik and then It went as far as home screen and then boot looped. I could only get into recovery TWRP.
Did a factory reset, clear cache/dalvik again. Nothing worked. Could only get as far as agreeing to terms screen and then boot loop.
Flashed an older firmware (.232) Lollipop that was pre rooted, same issue (don't know what I expected really)
Recovery is still there, I decided to just turn it off and ask someone because the internet is not giving me answers and I think I did enough damage. Please help!
Maybe too late, but..
What about when you wipe only cache and dalvik cache and flash again 575 zip and after that, flash bootloop fix, then restart phone to system from recovery menu?

I haven't tried the bootlop fix bit. I have tried this one though after going back to 570 and it still bootlooped. I'm back to 570 now.
Maybe a more stable flashable version will be revealed soon...one can only wait and see.
