What does the blue spinning orb in Android recovery mean? This screen showed up immediately after I entered the recovery (not even the interface showed up).
I once encountered something similar when I opened the recovery, and I think it wiped my data without permission. I saw this on my phone again, and I was afraid it was wiping my data without permission, so I pulled the battery.
What does it mean? What "work" is it doing in the background with the progress bar?
P.S. I saw this after I had just flashed a new recovery I think. It is the stock recovery

I was going to wipe the cache to help with my phone having slowed down quite a bit. When I got to the recovery, I was thoroughly surprised to see this:

The last time I went to wipe the cache, I ended up holding the buttons for too long and did... something. All I know is my phone vibrated a few times and then rebooted, but nothing was messed up so I assumed I did a cache-clearing key combination. I've never had something like this happen to me before (I'm new to non-nexus Samsungs).
At the bottom, all I can read is "[...]cation failed" and I can still use it like normal.

Hi everyone,
My 7.1 is stuck in boot and I want two perform a wipe, possibly factory reset.
I access recovery mode. When the android appears with "no command" I hold power, click Volume Up, then immediately release Power. Then the screens reads
"supported api: 3
Boot reason: (null)"
I'm stuck there with no other options. The Internet is not helpful and the error appears very rarely on the Internet with scarce information.
I'm not extremely well with boot stuff on android, so I'm seeking your advice :-/
Hope to hear from you soon!
You need to contact "techmesto". They can solve your problem.

I want to know how does it actually work. What partitions are loaded in first, how many steps does it take from power button press to fully booted android screen? I have a M31S phone running Android 11 with screen stuck on first logo but it boots fine and works even touch but the screen is strangely stuck on first logo screen which I find very odd. Download mode and recovery modes(Twrp works too) work just fine.
I just want to know more about the process of booting up to the system.
Thanks!

Hello all, I have the Nord N10 and I tried booting my device into recovery mode, I have not installed anything custom yet no apps what so ever. I get to the boot screen with keyboard and one plus logo. The on screen keyboard is frozen. And everytime I attemp a "hard battery reset" it comes right back to the screen with a frozen keyboard. If anyone knows of any way to fix this that would be wonderful.

:::UPDATE:::: apparently connecting it to my PC and force hard reset on the battery unfroze the key board. All is good thank you anyway.
