I've installed the official Nougat update from Elephone using the SP flash tool. Before the update, everything on the phone was working.
After the update, the phone boots Android 7 fine, but no SIM cards are recognised.
I've tried entering Engineer Mode through the phone app to reset the IMEI (I know what they are) but the 'Connectivity' page in Engineer Mode doesn't list phone radios, only FM, Bluetooth, NFC and WiFi.
So I rooted the phone and tried entering AT commands through a terminal. But the folder /dev/radios is empty.
It's like my phone has no... well, no phone. I guess the driver is broken somehow.
Does anyone have any tips on how to proceed?

Well, there's one who didn't read the question. This is not about restoring the IMEIs.
Alright. I know flashing nougat might break the radios and also IMEI. This includes not detecting simcards. I had this problem myself.....
I have the same problem, or similar .
I can sometimes send and recieve text messages and sometimes i can call. Data traffic seems to work ok.
Right now as soon as i try to make a call i lose connection to the mobile network.
Theres a simple fix, reflash 6.0, then do format all + download android 7, imei wont be restored, but both sims will be recognized and work normally

I did this and got the sim working with data and SMS but I can't call.
Should I try again? I want to restore my imei from my box too.
Flashtool and stock roms?
How did you do Tom? Did you fix it?

that seems like a hardware issue, i think theres a few cheap speakers and you could try to fix urself on ali express theres speaker at around 10$ it ahould be farelly easy to replace it
I've had this same problem, but only after replacing my screen due to damage. Ever since then, it'll see the sim but wont connect to my network.

Hey guys!
I'm currently getting the "not registered on network error". I have tried any; if not all threads on this issue to no prevail! It started when i flashed my phone to a deodexed version of the stock firmware for my phone.
What i have tried;
Used my simcard in other phone (Works fine)
*#06# brings up the same IMEI string as the one underneath battery
Using another simcard in my phone doesn't work
Used Kies Emergency Recovery to flash my phone back to complete factory reset
The strange thing is, i then thought after my efforts, i've had a hardware failure. But when i scan for my local networks, i see them just fine. Which would presume the antenna is operational. *see attatchment - Screenshot_2015-01-09-02-30-32.png*

Thanks for the reply.
I think it's on it's way out. The phone is touching 3-4 years old now. One of the first to receive the phone. It seems to be a power issue. I did the above solution yesterday evening which didn't work. However, the phone IS currently working perfectly above 45% battery. Have you ever come accross this issue before?
Is the battery swollen? Try another battery.
Hi,
so i found this phone when i was on holiday (someone left/forgot it on the beach), so after a while i replaced it with my old phone, since it is working pretty good. But i have a problem... i can't seem to connect to mobile network, i can call and send sms normally. It's weird because it doesn't say anything, it looks like everything is working normal. And i had the same problem on my sgs1, but after i rooted it and installed a custom rom mobile network started working.
Now i need help. Can someone help me fix this problem or tell me how to root this phone, because i tried a few different root programs but none seem to work and i'm really frustrated.
Thanks

Can you enable usb debugging and try to boot into your bootloader and see if fastboot works in any kind of way. If you get fastboot working, you'll eventually get root.
Good day guys.
I have a problem that I think is very common, however I haven't found a solution yet. I recently update my S6 edge (925I - latam) via odin to Nougat, everything was cool but I can't do or receive both calls or sms. I have cellular signal, however there is not registered with the network carrier.
I already flash modem.bin from older firmwares and do not work. Sometimes I loose cellular connection or stay the same, with signal but not registered. I tried other possible solutions like airplane mode and reboot, flashing roms, connect only via 2G or 3G, nothing have worked. My sim is not corrupted and the imei is just fine, without report or related.
I hope you can help me. Thank you very much.

Same issue for me.
Tried:
OTA update
Odin update - installing new stock firmware (with different software version)
Factory reset
Installing TWRP + LinageOS beta
Replacing the sim slot in a service
Nothing worked. Anybody?
Look in settings > status
Do you guys have an IMEI?
This happend to me 2-3 times last 30 days... sometimes I have signal but not registred on network, sometimes there's even no signal, etc...
I also tried several things to resolve the problem...flashing modem, reset dialer, changing network mode, enabling airpalne mode, another SIM card, etc... For the 1st time, flashing modem helped... but 2 days ago when this happened again flashing modem did not help...then I tried changing network mode and I got signal again... last night it also lost signal and today I changed network mode to 4g/3g/2g auto and it got signal again, then switched back to 2g and it's fine till now...
Hope this will not repeat....if does, coulb be very annoying thing...

Bro, download some older firmware from the one you have from sammobile and exctract it...there you'll find modem.bin
At last, I couldn't fix my s6...so I sold it...then the guy who bought it needed to write some chip to motherboard and he got it working again...

Hi guys,
So I was using rev os with my poco f1 and suddenly it was rebooting on its own I didnt pay attention to that part and and slept away When i woke up it seemed that rev os was continuing to reboot itself so I decided to change the rom I noticed there was no wifi or cell connection to back up.Nevertheless, i went into twrp flashed the EVOx 3.0 and it didnt work flashed pixel experience beta 10.0 it didnt work even after flashed the stock miui of poco the wifi and cell connection didnt come back and now I am Stuck. Please help....
the Wifi switch stucks on turning on and then reverts back to off and there is no singnal for sim networks
Did you backup your EFS partition?
It contains important information regarding SIM, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Maybe your EFS data partition got corrupted. And the symptoms of a corrupted EFS are exactly what you described, No Wi-Fi no Cellular and Bluetooth. (also lags and reboot issues.)
Even if you flash stock ROM it will not restore EFS.
The other problem could be a loose antenna cable (Known to happen with POCO) even with people who haven't done rooting or flashing.
You have 3 options.
1: Flash backup up EFS partition.
2: Return phone to stock and give to service center.
3: Open the phone and check cables.
All the best.

Were they able to restore the IMEI for you?
I took mine to Mi service and before they even saw the mobile they said the motherboard had to be replaced, which I doubt. Everything from the camera to bluetooth, and sometimes even Wifi works perfectly fine. Only the IMEI has gone missing, not sure how though. I hadn't even rooted the device.

Redmi Note 5 pro SIM and WI-FI not working
Hello, my friend has a Redmi note 5 pro and one day suddenly wifi and sim card stopped working(that's what he told me). I flashed recovery rom(MIUI 11) and sim and wifi started working back again only to stop working again a day after.
Then i flashed fastboot rom with mi flash tool(WHYRED GLOBAL) and the flash went on forever.I then flashed again with 3rd party flash tool and it showed success message but after i boot up....sim and wifi are still not working. Also i can now no more enter my phone because of no network and mi account lockdown. What are my options?
Bootloader is still unlocked.
Hi everyone,
I have a really annoying issue for a while and I hope someone can have a suggestion.
When i turn hot-spot on, my phone freezes and reboots itself, so i cannot use this feature, however if I connect it to my computer i can share my data by Bluetooth.
More annoying issue, if I try to connect to wi-fi when my data is on, it freezes and reboots again and after that I can connect, but if I disconnect somehow, it reboots again. When I turn the airplane mode on, there is not a problem..
Has anyone of you experienced such issue?
Thanks
Sounds like a corrupt system, probably network driver or baseband
SInce you don't mention anything else I suppose you're on stock ROM , still locked bootloader, no magisk and all that. Simpliest way if your not familiar with ROM and boatloader handling is probably to do a total reset to start with followed by an update. Xperia Companion can be used.
If you're famiiar with ROM handling you may get the latest ROM from XperiFirm which you flash with Newflasher

Hi pergoteborg,
Thank you a lot for your concern.
You are right, I am on stock ROM. I have tried to do a total reset, but it didn't work.
Moreover, I am living in Italy and using Tim Italia, few days ago I was in Austria and in there I did not have any problem when I connected to an Austrian operator. I tried with a different TIM sim card in Italy, it was same. I will try with a different operator as well, but I have not had time yet.
Does it pop up anything on your mind about what could cause such a strange problem?
Thanks in advance.
