Just recently when I get a text, Textra is lightning my entire screen up and displaying the notification. Previously it would just activate the edge lightning w the heads up notification. Anyone else having this issue. Can't figure out if it's a setting or update issue

Don't have English language on Textra but there's an option for that. Try something like "settings" - "notifications" - "notifications style", and check, if you have "yes" under "turn screen on" or something similar.

Turn on notifications in the status bar. Its one of the big toggles at the top.

No need to be embarrassed, I only knew how to solve that because I saw someone else ask the exact same question and I saw the solution.
If I had that icon there I wouldn't have known what the hell it was before I saw the other post!

I have done that, it vibrates, and makes the sound when I insert the pen so it is recognizing it as "holstered".
I was messing around with combinations of using the pen. Who knows what I have triggered. I could reboot but want to figure out why this happened.

Quick thing to note with this app, I also use CM spen helper (for disabling screen touch and capacitative buttons and switching keyboard types when spen detached) which on every rom ive used (note 4 or 5 port) has always broken the screen off memo feature.
This app is persistent and can be used with CM spen helper. I believe its because it asks for admin rights.

My phone also freezes , always at same moment :wen loading a webpage and have bad wifi reception, (sudenly have limided connection with a "!" on the icon) at that moment enable Mobile data
At that moment phone totale freezes and only way to get it back working is by hard resetting

The camera in the corner doesn't bother me. there has always been something up the top.. Course I still have to wait to get mine, but I don't think it will be an issue
