Looking at the Redmi Note 4 Snapdragon variant, can you really brick the device that you cant unbrick it? Or are the bricks easily dealt with? Coming from Huawei P9 Lite, wich is hardbricked and only solution is to change motherboard.

Hi guys i'm a complete noob with all this stuff. I bought a Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro and used it for one day. On the next day it was stuck in a bootloop/constantly restarting. I contacted Xiaomi and they said to use the unlock tool provided. However my device the snapdragon 650 was not supported. Is there any way unofficially to unlock the bootloader without having to turn the phone on?
