[HELP]I need help to build cyanogenmod or AOKP rom (android 4.1) for Alcatel OT-4030A

I need help to build cyanogenmod or AOKP rom (android 4.1) for a device that is not yet supported by anyone (I have not found threads on forums about some rom for this device, nor found something of this model on github). That's why I would like to try to build a custom rom for this device, so also learn a little more about android (I have basic knowledge).
I have alcatel sources in this link: http://sourceforge.net/projects/alcatel/files/
I read that first I have to create the device tree to begin building the rom in ubuntu. Could anyone guide me on how to use the sources (android 4.1) alcatel to create the device tree well or that could be the procedure to start with this?
In advance thank you very much.
PS: Any help is welcome, I hope some experienced developer can help me xD

[Q] Compiling Cyanogenmod from source

Hi,
I'm not a developer.
I've Innjoo i1 (which is a MT6582 phone only available in Middle East and Africa)..recently Mediatek release the source code for MT6582.and CM source is available to download I see.
So I just wanted to know if this's enough for me (or someone else) to compile Cyanogenmod for our device..(Speaking CM 11 or 12)
If it's enough then I'll read and learn then compile it..if it's not..tell me to stop.
And what exactly do I need to compile CM for X device?
Thanks.
I extracted my device tree from my boot.img and I have a Kitkat Kernel for MT6582..Now what?
I just need proper steps.
Thanks.
I'd suggest reading a lot of this and getting involved with Cyanogenmod for mediatek devices

[HELP] Building rom from kernel source code.?

Hello there,
I am trying to build a rom from scratch for xolo black device. The problem is that they have uploaded only kernel source.
Therefore, I can't figure out how to build the device tree and other things to make a working rom package. If I want to port cm12 to my qualcomm device (unsupported), then what I need to download and the order to executing the commands. I downloaded cm 12 sources but after that cant figure out how to compile other sources and libraries when all I have is kernel source code.
I want to use normal official google version of lollipop/marshmallow as the stock firmware UI is laggy and full of bugs.
I just cant seem to get a straight guide to make a rom from scratch with custom apps and launcher while using the kernel provided by the vendor.
Please help me out.
Thanks.

[Problem] My GT-P7500 with TWRP 3.1 won't let me install the [AOSP] Android 7.1.2

Hey guys,
as said in the title i can not install the AOSP Custom roms on my GT-P7500. Android 7.1.2 and 6.0.1 are giving me the same Error: 7 when i try to flash it with TWRP! It also says i'm using a rom for "p4" and i would have a "p4tmo" which is definately not true.
I was able to install the AOSP Android 5 but it's really buggy and since others had no problems with the 7.1.2 i'd love to get this running. There was a hint to try an older TWRP version but i couldn't find another version than the 3.1 for this device.
If anyone has an idea what could help i'd appreciate it a lot!
Thanks peeps
Edit: I installed CM 10.1 now and at first this rom gave me the very same error. After editing the update-script file in the rom i was able to install it though. This modification does not work in the AOSP roms.. any idea on that?
