Cant update to miui8 stable 8.0.1.0 rom from dev rom 6.8.18.Updater shows can't verify the file.SC is attached
I am on Global developer rom latest 6.8.16 in RN3 SD and tried to install through updater app "choose update package"but it says couldn't verify the package. Unlocked and I switched from stable to developer just by updater app only. Confused any suggestion?
Download the fastboot rom of global stable 8.0.1.0 flash via EDL method if your phone is locked.
If you have unlocked your phone flash it via fastboot method.
Link for the both methods with steps please. Thanks in advance

setup ADB Fast boot on PC,
GOTO phone settings turn-on USB debugging & OEM unlocking from developer options,
connect your phone open command,
Type "adb reboot bootloader",
then your phone will on in fast boot,
place twrp/cwm in adb folder in PC & rename it as twrp or cwm,
now command " fastboot flash recovery twrp.img"
after succeeding here is a really important step, follow this step otherwise it will boot again in stock recovery,
type " fastboot reboot" & keep pressed volume up button,
now you have installed cwm/twrp
