I recently got a Lenovo k30-t from my uncle because he messed up the system, after flashing twrp and Cyanogen mod everything was working fine. Twrp released an update and I wanted to update it, so I flashed that and the phone now works normally except for the fact that I can't boot in to recovery. Not thru android also not with adb. I reflashed the recovery I used originally and nothing happens. Still the same issue. And if I use 'fastboot boot recovery.img' I get an error. I found an other recovery and with 'fastboot boot recovery.img' I can boot in to it, but when flashing I get the error that the file is too large, how can I fix this.
use flashify or sp flashtool

So I tried to install STF-L09C432B120 flashing the boot.img, cost.img, system.img and recovery.img from B120. Then TWRP stopped to say "No OS installed!" But I'm still in bootloop

It's okay I fixed my problem: I flashed recovery, boot, cust and system.img from B130 and restore with the TWRP backup of @Rommco05
Sent from my STF-L09 using XDA Labs
My problem is more seriuos.
I have unlocked BOOTLOADER, flashed TRWP and OpenKirin's RROS 5.8.4. All worked so far but I wanted to go back to stock.
So I've tried to flash stock rom again, did some wipe and factory resets, don't know anymore exactly what I all did as it wasn't working as expected.
Long story short, I've bricked my phone. :crying:
There is no more TWRP, BOOT is relocked and FRP locked.
System does only boot to eRecovery and Fastboot mode. Can't boot into dialer.
In fastboot mode I can do some fastboot commands, like "fastboot devices" but when trying to flash a file I get the error "remote:command not allowed".
ADB doesn't find the device.
ERecovery doesn't work, Huawei service says, that the phone/IMEI is blocked on their server as I have unlocked bootloader and therefor eRecovery is blocked.
Is there any change to get it back to life?
Would be nice if anyone could help.
Thanks in advance.
SOLVED
Could solve my problem following this post
https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-9/help/help-hardbrick-func-11-recovery-image-t3656979
and using DC Phoenix software.
Now it works like a charm.

Hi, can anyone please help me with my problem?
I have merged the partition countless of time, but this time I F***cked up my device.
So here's the scenario, I am using RR 7.1 the suddenly I flashed the mi pad stock recovery. after this one, the device was bootlooped to mi logo so I used mi flash to reflash a fastboot rom. But after this, my mi pad just booting up to recovery and the hangs. I cant even wipe it, also i cant boot to fastboot (vol- + power), I just go back to the recovery and then hangs again. I think I broke the partition where the fastboot lies. Can anybody help me with this problem or there isnt anything I can do?
If you can boot to fastboot, try Miflash with fastboot rom. I this fixes everything. I am not sure though
After Repartitioning with RahulTheVirus script , I was never been able to go to stock partition. Even after fastbooting stock rom, I was never been able to boot on second partition via stock recovery. I just bootloops.

My mi pad 1 failed while partitioning. now it hangs after booting just in 2-3 seconds. cannot do anything in recovery or twrp.
do you have any solution?

I was facing the same issue. The issue is that the system1 partition is not active. By using CWM, I was able to change it and it fixed the issue. I got the idea from this post.

Code:
fastboot flash recovery *twrp image name*
should allow you to write twrp to your flash partition.
If you're using
Code:
fastboot boot *twrp image name*
it just loads twrp for that instance.
On a sidenote, what are your plans with TWRP? MIUI has an issue that twrp asks for password when starting. If you want to root, you're better off loading it for single instance, installing magisk.

I don't think developer rom should be a problem.
Try this:
1. Copy PE Rom on your SD Card.
2. Fire up the stock recovery->wipe data.
3. Then when rebooting, keep the Vol Down key pressed. This will take you directly to Bootloader without invoking MIUI to encrypt the internal storage.
4. Connect to your pc, boot to TWRP with
Code:
fastboot boot *twrp image name*
You will see that it no longer asks for password.
5. In TWRP, go to Wipe Data->Advanced Wipe->Wipe everything except SD Card. (I am assuming you want a clean flash)
6. Back to main twrp screen->Install->Select Storage->SD Card->ROM File. It will take a while to install.
7. Reboot and you're good to go.
Please note that you still have the stock recovery installed in your phone. You can try to replace it with TWRP now as there won't be MIUI to roll it back to stock recovery. Hope it helps.

I did something and now i have twrp my main recovery but every time i wan't wipe it says unable to mount data and some others errors. I tried to flash magisk it worked and my phone is now rooted. I can format data and boot back into miui. But how i can fix the problem? Is my twrp broken? I don't think that miui stock recovery is deleted i think its only overwritten by twrp. I flashed lazyflasher and then it was my main recovery.
If you want to use miui then miui eu roms are recommended. They work flawless with custom twrp's.

No twrp isn't broken. The recovery is responsible for wiping data. Since stock recovery isn't there, the phone boots into twrp. Try factory reset inside twrp->Wipe or advanced wipe->select everything except sd card and format. If that fails, I have uploaded a copy of my recovery to the below link. Flash that and follow the process I have given above. If the phone starts booting into miui, it will encrypt the internal storage again and you have to start over.

Another thing, before you wipe your internal storage log out of your google and mi accounts. Else, PE Rom might throw an error saying there's something wrong with your phone. As far as I know it doesn't affect the functionality, but why take the risk.

And I haven't heard of twrp hard bricking the phone. You can always flash stock ROM via fast boot but say goodbye to data & internal storage.
So always keep backup.

Can you unlock the internal storage from twrp there? I am seeing all those tutorials saying that you should enter you lock screen password in twrp to unlock your internal storage but it doesn't seem to work.

Another thing, before you wipe your internal storage log out of your google and mi accounts. Else, PE Rom might throw an error saying there's something wrong with your phone. As far as I know it doesn't affect the functionality, but why take the risk.

Yes I use Redmi 5 as well. This is just a backup of my stock recovery. No issues.

Sorry I haven't been able to solve the internal storage
mounting issue either. I just wipe my data using stock recovery, go straight into bootloader before it can boot up, boot twrp from there and install whatever rom i need to install.

I have heard that people format data and then they restart the phone to recovery and wipe all data. Is that right? And if i flash pe rom do i need to flash anything else?

Formatting data and wiping data from recovery is the same thing. I'd suggest that you wipe data from recovery. That way it won't automatically reboot and accidentally go into android again. You can keep the vol down button pressed immediately after hitting reboot so bootloader starts right away. Remember to remove your mi account and google account before doing any data wipe.
PE comes preloaded with all the gapps. I didn't have to flash anything else with it.
Hello. I decided to switch to CarbonROM on my Poco f1 thinking that it was based on Android 10 (I really like gesture navigation). After reformatting my device I flashed the firmware, carbonrom and then my microG package. After a little hitch with the wrong firmware it worked. Then, after realising that it didn't have android 10 gesture navigation I thought I'd switch to another ROM. I booted to my recovery (SkyHawk recovery, based on twrp) and went to re format my device. The recovery asked me for a password to decrypt my device (which I found odd as I had never set up a password on CarbonROM) which I cancelled the request and went to reformat my device. I typed in yes and it told me the "Unable to mount storage". Wiping, mounting or any other action yields the same response. I tried rebooting to system and after the CarbonROM boot animation it told me "Encryption unsuccesful" and some text saying I need to reset my phone. I pushed the reset phone button and after a pop up claims to reset it, it boots back to recovery. The main console in the recovery says "cryptkeeper.showFactoryReset() corrupt=false". I have repeated multiple times. All I can access is the recovery (from which I can do nothing) and fastboot.
Is my phone stuffed or can I restore it somehow?
Flash twrp recovery.

How though? Despite failing earlier, I have now been able to boot up into CarbonROM (so my phone is not bricked ) but I am unable to wipe / reformat my phone from SkyHawk. I know that you can flash a recovery if you have Magisk root, but even flashing Magisk doesn't work from SkyHawk. Can I get TWRP to replace SkyHawk through Fastboot / ADB or anything like that?
Just flash twrp img file using shrp then boot to recovery
