I can install lumia camera on win 10 CU, and it works fine!
BUT on next start, there is a message that forcing me to use camera instead.
If lumia camera is newer message is fancier with cowboy in sunsent, and if lumia camera is older message is on white screen.
Reason for using lumia camera instead camera is because it work better on older hardware on win 10 (n925)
I read this article: 'Lumia Camera for the 1020 returns to the Store, integrates with Photos update'
And tried registry hack to fake N925 as RM-875 but with same efect.
Is there some way to monitor win registry on first start lumia camera?

Is there any application to take hdr images? (the way it takes multiple pictures with different ranges and merges them)
If you find this or anyone else does please let me know as well... one thing I miss from the iPhone.

does it need full unlock or just dev?
I'm also waiting for this.
The best application IMO is HDR Pro as it boosts and balances saturation and contrast as well. Plus you can select the exposure manually for all three photos. Unfortunately it is available only with iPhone and Android and last time I emailed the company, they didn't sound too eager to produce this for Windows Phone. I had used this with my Samsung Vibrant before coming over to WP7.. loved it.
There is another very creative company that makes a good photo editor and also a camera application giving them the capability to add a true 3-shot HDR function - FhotoRoom. They have HDR on other platforms. I emailed them and the reply I received was promising - they told me they are committed to bringing true HDR functionality to their Windows program - but unfortunately WP7.5 is too restrictive on camera control. They told me this is something that is priority when they update the application around the upcoming Apollo OS - WP8. But that depend on the OS allowing the freedom to use the camera that way. If they don't change this, then no-go..

I found many interesting apps here.
OK, First Microsoft said Office 2013 will come to Android, plus they already have skydrive , onenote etc.
I think why I liked WP8 was that it would have given me iOS like sync everything between my WP8 AND Windows 8.
But now its also possible with android.
And now Nokia has also said HERE maps will be available to Android also. And I've read that Nokia will offer OFFLINE MAPS to Android also.
The main reason to switch to lumia 920 for me and also to many people in world, is OFFICE support with SYNC with PC, and FULL OFFLINE MAPS FROM NOKIA.
But now both will be available to android in future, I don't see any good and strong reason to switch to WP8.
Do you?

I bought a Lumia 710 as a travel phone to replace my aging Nokia C7. Now, the great thing about the C7 was that it had offline maps. I would simply download the map before travelling, and the map would be available in the foreign country. GPS and the compass would work as well. Oh, and address search worked too.
It was great, but, slow. The phone was essentially useless for anything other than maps.
So I sold it, and bought the Lumia 710 thinking it to be an upgrade. While playing with it in store, the rep showed me how Nokia Drive had a maps download option. I thought it would work the same way.
Unfortunately, if I have data and wifi disabled, Nokia Drive doesn't open - says it doesn't work offline (edit: updated it, now opens, doesn't seem nearly asgood as the old Nokia Maps on my C7. My original question still stands )
Now, I'm reading that Windows Phone 8 users will get Nokia Maps with offline functionality, but I cant find anything saying that this feature willl come to Windows Phone 7.5/7.8 users.
Can anyone shed some light on this? It really is the main reason I bought the phone.
You can try locations from htc collection. You can get it by changing marketplace to htc. Here's how to do it:

I can say for sure that Lumia 800 has Nokia Drive with the possiblility to use Maps in offline mode (this after I have updated to version 2).
Currently Nokia Maps in my phone has version 3.1.0.xx and Nokia Maps 2.5.xx.
I can use Nokia Drive in offline mode but can't use Nokia Maps in offline mode.
Try upgrading your software to latest version.
Hope this help.
Have a great day.
Hello,
I have had the MI 8 LITE phone for two years and until a few weeks ago, the face recognition worked great. There were no problems.
Lately I have been unable to open the device by recognizing my face.
That I came to do a new face photo in the settings "Unlock with face"
So he comes to photograph my face, he recognizes them excellently and then keeps the image blurry and probably because of this I can not open the lock device with my face recognition.
I made a lot of attempts at photographing my face, but all the time it keeps the image blurry.
It does not seem to me that this is a problem with the front camera, because when I take a selfie it takes a great picture of me and keeps the image in a normal and non-blurry way.
So what's the problem with face recognition photography ??
Thanks in advance
mine stop working when i use camera2api and tried gcam
