Required: ROM+GApps saved in Internal Storage, TWRP Recovery v3.1.0, Root Access
Backup: go to custom recovery and create a backup of your current ROM
Wipe /system, /data, /cache, dalvik cache
Install ROM+GApps
Restart your phone
For upgrading an existing RR ROM installation, please install new ROM and the GApps again.

Right after I install the rom and the gapps package, I go into the setup wizard, my phone gets stucked in the part where it says "Looking for updates", right after i setup the wifi.
I've tried various gapps packages but still have the same problem

Could you please try to flash the ROM + an older GApps package?
This issue exists on NexusOS as well, but not all users are affected.

Same problem for me. Tried 14, 18 and 24 July gapps, but no luck. Frustrated

In setup wizard stuck on checking updates. I disconnect from wi-fi and finish wizard setup. bud google play say Unable to establish a trusted connection with the server

Rom Is Great but it has connection issuses to Google Services

If this fix doesn't work, please uninstall Magisk via Magisk Manager app and retry to setup the Google account.

After flash this kernel rom is in bootloop.

I don't know if you've fixed this but on my RR and LineageOS. No such issues are present.

Yes, I'm currently using the RR with the 24 of june nano gapps and I don't have any problems. But in the crDroid and NexusOS with that gapps package I have that problem :s

that build works and i dont have any issues with gapps
probably it is a lineage issue i hope they fix it soon
