Sadly, I think 5.7" might be a bit too big. While the phone feels good in the hand, when trying to do one handed operations, it just feels too big for me. Plus, the weight is on the slightly heavy side.
I have no issue using this phone. My previous phone had a 5.5 inch screen and when I compared them side by side, Honor 8 pro is about as wide as my previous phone but a bit taller. The weight distribution is better on honor 8 pro and it feels like a solid slab.

Solid feel and decent grip. The big size and thinness naturally creates a bit discomfort, this is unavoidable but a negative thing none the less.
A bit big for most hands but who cares.
Have to use both hands. Not for smaller hands.
Solid feel in hand with proper grip unlike the glass design. Big size is concern but we get used to it quickly.
despite of large size feel and fits good in hands
feels really solid in hand.
Slippery when sweaty.

I hope I don't get burnt for this and hopefully someone finds this useful.
Initial comparison between my new nexus 6p and iphone 6s plus. Please bear in mind no special equipment was used to do the comparison just my eyes and hands.
Design
It's personal preference
I prefer nexus 6p look especially the back, the side bezel. And not to forget the notification light.
In the hand
Iphone 6s plus feels more premium, more solid, comfortable and slimmer.
Nexus 6p feels light, bit fragile and flimsy.
I prefer the iphone 2.5D slight curvature at the edge screen, again looks more premium then the flat screen of nexus 6p.
Iphone material is superior.
Camera and video
It's a tuff one for once nexus 6p can actually compete with top end phone cameras. Which ever you get you won't be disappointed with camera quality but I think overall iphone camera is more reliable with Optical image stabilisation.
Video recording and playback again would give this to iphone just much smoother and no jittering which I found on nexus 6p. Again I'm being picky due to the level of competition.
Software
Definitely stock android so much more customisation and shortcuts. I've jailbroken my iphone and it does improve significantly as far as customisation is concerned, with all the cydia tweaks available it does make it more difficult to choose one over the other.
Screen
QHD vs 1080
Tbh its difficult to tell with the naked eye but is noticeable ever so slightly.
Amoled is more vibrant and brightness is about the same compared to iphone but I do prefer the 2.5d screen and 3d touch on the iphone. Nexus edges it especially when playing 2k content.
Speakers
Positioning would benefit nexus of course but I found iphone sound more crisp.
Volume levels about the same and again iPhone wins.
Fingerprint
Positioning goes to iphone I prefer at the front. Unlocking speed goes to nexus 6p.
Accuracy both work excellently but because of the placement iphone wins it.
Price
Value for money its a no brainer, nexus 6p of course.
Battery life
Not tested so no comment.
Overall
It's a very difficult choice, prior to testing my nexus I would have said nexus 6p based on specs. Now I'm not so sure, gosh. I suppose if I was really pushed I would go for iphone, I think.
Pics of them beside each other from all angles please.

Here are few pic samples
im sure he meant the actual phones..
Wrong pics lol
I'm using my axon elite to take pics which doesn't have the best of camera's.
Just buy the 6+ and be done with it. I am sure you will have fun trying to be half as productive while using iOS.
There's another thread for this.
Someone please close

How does the 6P feel in your hands vs the 6s Plus? Meaning, does one feel bulkier than the other or is the feel about the same given they're almost the same size?
Not very helpful but thx anyway!

iPhone is heavier but feels more comfortable to hold. Nexus feels less sturdy due to weight but some may prefer the lighter phone and iPhone feels more solid.
Another thing I've noticed the back of nexus can be pushed down ever so slightly.

Thanks. I will be adding a case to mine so pushing on the back won't be an issue. What makes the 6s Plus more comfortable to hold? Is it the rounded edges or something else?

Rounded edges and iPhone being slimmer.
I think fingerprint reader on the back is so much better. I've gotten to the point where I just unlock it as I'm taking my phone out of my pocket. It almost makes the power button obsolete. On iPhone 6, the fingerprint is in good position, but on the plus, it's harder to get to it because you gotta balance a big phone with one hand while you get the thumb on the fingerprint reader.
I also think 6P is more comfortable to hold because it isn't as slippery. It's like comparing iPhone 6 with iPhone 5. Size-difference aside, the 5's more squarish edges make it easier to hold and are less slippery.
Anyways they're both great phones, you can't really go wrong. At this point it's all about which OS you like better. I honestly don't think either one is better than other, hardware-wise. They are very very close.

Valid points, thanks for your contribution.
I don't have the phone yet, but really the SINGLE SPEAKER on the iPhone is better than the DUAL, FRONT FACING, STEREO SPEAKKERRSS???
How/where is video playback stuttery on the 6P?
How is the camera more reliable on the 6S+? Better shots, more detail??

Not very comprehensive and detailed. I didn't really learn anything from it. Not bashing you just giving feedback.

Somehow, the phone does not feel as solid as I'd like it to. Coming from the "plastic" Note 2 which I feel is sturdy and solid (dropped it many times and no issues), with the honor 8 Pro, I feel like I have to baby it, otherwise it might get scratches, especially the metal back.
Impeccably designed and built. Just one niggle, the volume button and power button wobble a bit.

It saddened me a bit that they ditched the glass back panel for a metal one.
The best build .
I will tell this is the best ,solid Designed.
glassy design was ditched but thats not a concern as we have a good design here and nothing to miss.
really a good build.no complain
One of the best built phones I have ever come across. It's sturdy as heck and the weight is just perfect for it to feel expensive in the hand. No hollow aluminum design here. Nothing at all to complain about.
premium material used in building this device
Really premium build.

Under 200$, you expect premium ?
6.44 screen ?
4gb RAM ?
5300 battery ?
not possible, but Xiaomi comes close..
Doesn't feel premium, doesn't fell cheap either...
it will be ok it is middle range phone, so i will buy it soon?
Quality is actually pretty decent! There are no sharp edges and considering slim design phone is quite durable!
Superb Quality - like a phone for at least 400$. Recommend for all "big screen" users.
A poll would suit this thread better i guess.. XD

The only thing i dont like is the power button and the volume buttons on the same side.
What I don't like is that due to material/thickness the phone is very slippery, its impossible to use without a case

Good that a case is provided with the phone
Is the phone too big? I have Redmi 3s now, which is 5" and also feels compact, what do you guys think? These days they ake only bigger phones anyaways.

Although I wish the phone was more rounded like the S series, I'm pretty pleased with the design.
Let's just say, it's a good job it's wipe clean ??
I love the look of the Note 9. The Note 8 was my favorite device as far as looks go, and the Note 9 just refined that and improved it.
I love the new Cloud Silver color, but I honestly prefer my Ocean Blue with the contrasting S Pen. It just makes a statement.
I really don't have anything negative to say about it. It's a much better looking (and performing) device than my Pixel 2 XL. Matter of fact, I'm selling the P2XL and I'll just keep my Note 8 as a back up device. Can't part with it!
I'd have preferred much smaller top and bottom chin and forehead bezels. Still not a big fan of the curved sides, but for now that is still samsungs calling. And while I prefer the Note line to the S line, I do think prefer the more rounded corners of the S line. Overall I was hoping for less top and bottom bezels at least with the Note 9.
Ok
It's just BEAUTIFUL
I doesn't have the most attractive aesthetic of any device. But it's okay. the front and side chassis are gorgeous. But the camera module is quite frankly hideous. Possible the worst out of all manufacturers.
I love the more "boxy" look of that phone
This Device is like a TANK. A solidly built design with good battery life and not to forget the 3.5 HEADPHONE JACK.
Edit: Just got the news that Samsung's new A8s is the first phone with an Infinity-O hole-punch display. I think at last Samsung has found a way to get rid off notch but they also removed the headphone jack that is sad. There is three layer of glass on top and it is 2.5 LTPS display with camera HOLE.
Note 9 has the best looking cases.
Everything on the back side is symmetrically aligned in the center so all the camera cutouts for the cases look perfect.
Other phones are justified to one side or the other and the designs and grooves on the backs of cases are cut off.
Note 9 is perfectly aligned so the grooves and cutouts look better.
