Hi there everyone.
First, sorry if this thread already exists. I searched for an hour before starting this thread, so, anyway, sorry.
Let's head for the problem.
I was using the Resurrection Remix ICS Custom ROM about five weeks, updating and working fine as well. Today i decided to migrate for the new Resurrection Remix JB ROM, and then, i flashed my phone back to Samsung stock ICS ROM and it was working fine so. I needed to root it again but for some reason i missed how, so i headed for the Resurrection Remix main thread and looked for help there. That lead me to this post explaining how to get it done. So i downloaded the lastest siyah kernel for S2 and flashed it through ODIN. After this my touchscreen became dead. I can see everything, volume, home and power button works as well the menu and back touch buttons, but my screen just don't work. Everything is there on screen but i can't click it.
Can anyone help me with this?
Hello guys,
I rooted my Xperia sp and unlocked the bootloader by the official way. Then I installed custom roms ranging from CRYSTAL PA and AOKP NON OFFICIAL.
Everything runs smoothly without a hint of lag, till I flash gapps. After flashing gapps, everything gets clunky, the soft keys take a long time to respond and fps drops too. This only happens after flashing the gapps. Even apps take a long time to load and mobile hangs for a couple of minutes.
I've tried to flash other gapps related to the custom rom (android 4.4.4) but same story. I've changed custom roms too but can't figure out the lag.
I download the gapps zip files from
[GAPPS][4.4.x] OFFICIAL Up-to-Date PA-GOOGLE… | Paranoid Android | XDA Forums
Any help guys? I even tried to run seeder and lag fix but no use.
Help will be highly appreciated ?

you can install it after rom installation before it booted.
then if rooted, use es task manager and all in one toolbox to disable startups and enjoy faster android
Hi guys ^^
I've been using Mokee for a lot of time but the bugs that kept bothering me never got fixed and the updates for p760 stopped coming out so I thought to myself "time to change my ROM".
I've tried to flash both Paranoid 4.6 and the newest stable version of Nameless ROM but with both of these my recovery (artas's TWRP) refused to flash GAPPS. I used the recommended gapps and later on tried CM gapps. Both just showed me an error that it can't be flashed. Am I doing something wrong?
I do a full wipe before flashing the ROM. I would be so thankful for help ^^
Unsure as to what the issue is but i think it only happens when my Resurrection remix 5.8.4 ROM is rooted.
also used the kernel that is in the ROM. if anyone has another kernel that i could try that is known to work id gladly try it.
Any help would be appreciated
Have you tried a different rom? Test it see if it happens. And RR already has root included so what do you mean by "when my RR is rooted" ?
Hi All,
Well the s2 is an old phone and the first phone that I rooted and installed a custom rom on.
Surprisingly a phone that still has a lot of people installing a custom rom on.
But what is everyone running on it these days?
Does anyone still use this as a daily phone?
Look forward to seeing what everyone has to say about this oldie.
I use my SGS2 as my dev phone. I'm running LineageOS 14.1 microG and I'm building RROreo and LIneage OS 14.1 for my self with linaro.
