Hi guys
I'm interested in this device but need to know if it has some kind of alternative way to wake the device up.
Especially dt2w or air wake (waving hand over proximity sensor)?
Thanks
Stock kernel doesn't support tap2wake, what I would suggest is install AcDisplay from play store, where you can set double tape2sleep and wave to wake. It is a great app and works really fine on stock/Ozcan rom. It also support widgets, and few more features. If you also install gravity box, you can set double tap to sleep on back button or menu button.

For the last several months, I've been using Wake Gestures on my Quark for play/pause (swipe down) and next/previous track (swipe left/right). It's really nice while driving, since I can just swipe anywhere on the screen to skip or repeat tracks without needing to look for a button or whatever.
I doubt it does, but could one of you root users see if directional swipes will do anything with the service running and the AOD up? I'm reasonably certain it won't function without root, since it requires kernel wake gestures support (which the LG kernel should at least have partially what with it having double-tap to wake).
Nothing to be done if it doesn't work, I just want to know in advance to I can get used to not using it.
When the navigation bar is enabled, the physical home/fingerprint reader works as a home button. Normally this wouldn't be a problem except when you accidentally hit it or when you're trying to unlock an app with your fingerprint and it sends you home instead.
I don't understand why huawei wouldn't add a setting for this.
I know that using gestures instead of the navbar would disable that button from functioning as a home button but emui 9 gestures just feel half baked.
P.S. I do not have root.
Thanks!
It doesn't do that on my mate 10 pro. Navigation bar is, of course, enabled, screen gestures (apart from the frickin search thing, which just doesn't go away) and the little movable thingy are turned off. Pull-down gesture on FP sensor is usually enabled, but I just turned it off for a test -- still FP sensor doesn't work as home button.
@wurstwarenfachverkäuferin, it happens only on standard Mate 10, pro version is not involved. Unfortunately, I didn't find the way to disable this feature.
DP, please delete.
You could put app in the appassistant And turn on the mistouch prevention function.
Hello
I m on Android 10 stock rom. I can see it is possible to wake fingerprint icon by double tapping. So why isn't or is it possible to wake screen by double tapping?
No root btw, maybe via adb commands..
Thanks
Is there a way to customize navigation buttons like we had in older OnePlus.
Long press back button to screen off and remove Google Assistant on home button
Not for the moment, the only customs actions available are
Long press home : google assistant
Double tap Overview : quick swith between active app and previous app
Really miss those feature
I am rooted with Magisk and installed LSPosed (RiRu). Then in LSPosed install Gravitybox. Here you can do it! Only non-working for me was "double tap to sleep" on HOME-button. Does work on recent or back button.
WARNING: do NOT use the option to move the clock!!! To the right it works, when you put it in the middle, you'll screw up your phone!!! To me it lead to a new softwareflash in servicecenter!
Rest of Gravitybox might work but I basically use it to activate splitscreen and double tap to sleep.
Hi, i have already tried LSPosed and AOSP Mods but i didn't find the same gestures of oneplus. Expecially the possibility to lock device by double tapping on a blank portion of the screen or "write" some letters when the screen is off ( for example: V to turn on flashlight or <, > to control audio, etc). Is there another module i can try to make those things?
Hey there, long time OP user here too, missing the gestures and alert-slider.
Im using button mapper app for music control with volume buttons and double click up volume button for flashlight which can replace the OP features. Pixel also has double tap back for camera in settings.
