No manual mode in the lock screen without unlocking - Xperia Z2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Cannot run manual mode in the lock screen without unlocking. When I press camera button or use the shortcut it tursn on fine with Superior mode, but when I turn on manual mode from inside the app, the annoying "Screen locked To change capture mode, unlock the screen" appears.
Any solution for that without changing the camera app? I did some research and nothing really worked (like offered xposed additions, camera enhancements)
I am running Exiztenz Marshmallow 5.6.5, but it is the same story with pure stock rom.
Thanks in advance!

about camera quick launch key

any possible way change the quick launch camera default ?
default is auto, i want change to manual mode
So is there a was to change default behaviour of shutter button to start camera in manual mode?
Yes I really would like something like this as well if anybody has any ideas... or can hack something up.
I think there was an exposed mode for that.Check it out if you have an rooted device.
I have went through the hole list of modules and didn't find anything that would work, even installed a button remember that I had no luck on.

How to change the smart camera to manual mode with hardware camera button?

Hi guys.
You know that it runs AUTO mode if you do long-push hardware camera button.
So I want know how to change that to manual mode directly.
Still no solution?
I wanted to know too much, but I believe you do not have to, unless through root!

Can I re-lock bootloader (or is it needed)? Must send out for warranty.

The camera module's pooched (started failing in 5.1 with not being able to focus on near objects, now it won't run at all). Weird shenanigans in 5.1 as opposed to the stock 4.3 that it came from. In 4.3, I can run Flashlight, but Gallery crashes when Camera is run. Front camera works intermittent - rear camera not at all. In 5.1, I cannot run either the camera app or Flashlight (quick access menu) and if Flashlight is pressed, the LED will shine for 5 seconds, turn off, and the Flashlight icon will stay half-lit until the phone is soft-reset. 5.1 gives the notification "cannot start the camera - make sure 3rd party apps (such as Flashlight) aren't running" (with everything disabled).
The only constant is that the rear camera will not function in either Android environment.
It's still under warranty with Wind, do I even need to worry about the unlocked bootloader or no? Either of these were stock Android with no root.

Above thread give accurate steps that looks good. But as some post from same thread point out, when you request unlock code from huawei, they already recorded your phone in their database.
When you unlocked it, you trashed your warranty.

Camera Issue Oreo Update

Neeever mind. I found the manual mode. They changed it from a separate menu and put it into the new "mode" menu with all the camera trick modes like "pop out", panorama, timer, etc.
The manual mode is greatly improved now with much more intuitive control.
I just got the Android Oreo 8.0.0 yesterday. I just went to use the camera and I cannot find the 3 dot menu on the main screen to get into manual mode. I use manual mode a lot! If anyone knows how to enter manual mode of has a fix please post it.
Other than that the update fixed a BT issue I had and I have not encountered any other issues.
Thanks

Possible to disable portrait mode from master AI?

Hi all,
Been testing the camera for the last few days. One thing that annoys me is that in auto mode with master AI active (I'm giving it a chance for now), if I try to take a quick shot of my kid, usually as he looks at me and I go to take the shot, master AI detects the face and puts the camera in portrait mode which result in the app hanging for like half a second while it switches to a blurred background and I often miss the shot because I can't take the picture in that hung state. Going in options to disable ai isn't quick enough.
For now, my workaround is to tap the pro mode when taking pictures of him.
I don't think it's doable but I tried to find a way to disable portait mode from the ai.. It could still recognize that people are in the shot without going for a blurred background (there is an easy button to tap right next to auto mode if I wanted a blurred background...) I'll probably need to suggest huawei to add an option to prevent portrait mode (first huawei phone I use, do they listen well to suggestions? I know updates aren't quick) but figured I'd ask here first in case someone has a better solution or maybe I'm the only one that the phone hangs while it switches to portrait mode using the ai?
Thanks!!
Phil
yes, i'm really annoy with portrait mode (AI changed automatically) it blurred the background too strong and look fake like cheap phone...
