Hello,
A month ago I restored my phone to factory settings (Android 7.0 device Samsung S6 Edge). Unfortunately, after resetting all settings, apps, and contacts, the device does not want to connent with a car speakerphone. Before resetting the phone also was android 7.0, pairing with the car and making audio connections worked properly, now after the PIN pairing device is disconnected ... I will add other phones are connented without problems with the car's bluetooth system.
What may be the problem….?

Hi all,
I'm having problems with my Galaxy S3 (Vodafone UK) pairing with my Audi A3 factory fitted Bluetooth adapter. When I enable pairing, the phone continually 'Connects' to the car, reconnecting every 3 to 4 minutes. If I try to make or receive a call, the audio does not come through the car at all. It will continue in the loop of 'Connecting' (but not really connecting) until I disable Bluetooth on the phone.
I've seen some suggestions around relating to the S3s inability to share the address book with the car adapter, which could be causing the pairing to fail and re-start continuously.
If this is the case, is there a way to stop the phone book sync so I can at least receive calls in the car over Bluetooth?
Sorry if this sounds a bit vague - hopefully someone recognises the symptoms and has a fix for this!

mroshaw
I have Samsung Galaxy SII (Sprint) running Android 4.0.4. This is stock rom.
I recently got a Bluetooth headset (Taotronics TT-BH06). I paired it with the phone and it worked fine. However, the next time I turned on Bluetooth the phone went into an bootloop. The only way I could stop it was to to into Bluetooth settings and unpair the headset. I have tried pairing several times and get the same problem each time. Also, when I originally pair, the device has the manufacturer's name, but when I later go to unpair, it has the name "00:23:01:23:32:B1".
I sent a support query to the vendor, and they sent me a replacement. However, I get the same problem with the replacment! I have used other BT devices with my Galaxy S2 and had no problems. Furthermore, I have used this Taotronics headset with another Android device, without any problems. Has anyone heard of this kind of problem? Is there any way to fix this problem with the phone?
Okay, this issue is driving me a bit nuts. This phone seems to have a tendency to self delete bluetooth pairings randomly, such that I'll suddenly find I have to pair again a bluetooth device that I had working before. I know it's not the bluetooth device because this has happened on all sorts of things.... Get in car, no bluetooth connection, see pairing request on phone. Pebble watch suddenly won't connect anymore, look in bluetooth pairings list, no longer there. Worst is the Moto 360, because for some reason, Google decided that you cannot initiate a bluetooth pairing on Android Wear except by factory resetting the watch. So every few days, or weeks, depending on luck, I'd find myself having to factory reset my watch yet again, just to pair it back with my phone.
Just me? Anybody else with random bluetooth pairings deleted? I'm on the current 5.1 firmware.
It's a long post - sorry please bear with it..........thanks
Performed a firmware update couple of weeks ago see thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-10/help/mirrorshare-stopped-t3731964 and all seem well until 2 days ago.
All revolves around bluetooth:
Background:
I have 3 devices which I use regularly for BT connections
Huawei Watch 2 (came with phone )
Car (phone calls only)
BT Headset (Sony SBH52) - used for Music only (my car will not play music over BT so I have my BT headset connect to the AUX port)
Limitation:
A phone can only connect to 2 BT devices at once (as far as I know/have witnessed)
Scenario
Phone is always connected to watch
Get in car - phone auto connects to car BT.
I manually connect phone to BT headset - it drops connection to watch so now my phone is connected to car for phone calls and headset for playing music.
GREAT This works for me and all is OK...and has been working OK for last couple weeks. (I used to use this method with my Nexus 6P and had no issues - I didn't have the smartwatch2 then)
Up until 2 days ago
Phone kept losing connection to BT headset - it would connect and then immediately drop
I couldn't do anything in BT settings on my phone (such as disconnect or forget).
Did all the normal stuff - BT on/off : headset on/off - no change.
"Forgot" BT connection for car.
Headset still had same issue.
Finally removed connection for headset.....reconnected to car BT.
Car BT then started dropping
Finally 'forgot' BT connection for car
Watch appears connected OK however it used to display in the drop down menu what BT device I was connected to - now it doesn't.
The BT symbol also used to have little marks at the side of it to show it was connected to a device - now it doesn't
When I look in BT settings on phone I see my device listed however I am unable to "forget device" or tell if it is connected - only way I can tell if connect is check on the settings on watch which say that it is paired and connected - plus I do get all the alerts on my watch so it's definitely connected and working.
I have factory reset watch, phone, car system and BT headset - still have the issue
Any ideas?

Was it a bundle? Or how did you get the watch?

It was a bundle with Vodafone UK - first 1000 customers to order phone on a monthly contract received HW2
Further testing/info
After another factory reset of the phone and a 'disconnect & reset' of the HW2 and seem to have got it working'ish....
So -
Car BT connects fine and displays in BT settings on the phone as connected
Sony SBH52 headset - connects fine and displays in BT settings on the phone as connected
HW2 - although it connects it does not show in BT settings on the phone as connected - also unable to do anything on the settings for it :|
I'm not convinced that the disconnect & reset is actually performing a factory reset of the watch.
Perhaps this needs posting in the HW2 forum - is there one?
hi guys. came to this site because of the same problem.
Found a fix - reset network settings.
after going into settings menu and resetting network settings,
connect to your bluetooth device again and it should work (at least for me)!
So all my other phones work fine with the Parrot MKi9200. Except the ROG.
I'm going to try describing my experience as best I can. Wanting to see if anyone is having the same issues (with other asus phones even) and has found a solution.
First time I tried connecting, the bluetooth code popped up, I entered the default code and attempted pairing but the Parrot has too many paired devices so it was rejecting the ROG
so i cancelled the pairing and went into the Parrot to delete old devices
Tried pairing again but this time, it no longer asks for the code
The pairing appears to be successful on the Parrot, the phone says it's connected but when I try playing anything, there is no sound at all
I've tried forgetting the connection on the phone and then pairing again. and strangely enough, it no longer asks for the code, which is abnormal
The Parrot has no record of the ROG as a paired device so there is nothing I can do from that end
On the phone I then tried clearing bluetooth cache
setting org.coreaudio something bluetooth to not be optimised for battery
tried pairing a random headphone with the phone and it works just fine
