Replacement speaker for X10? Mine is distorted

One day, after I took my X10 out of silent mode, the "boop" sound for volume adjustment wasn't clear. Tried music and it was quite obviously distorted. Sound through the headphones remained perfectly clear!
Music distortion is one thing, but this makes my ringer much quieter
If the headphones are clear, it seems like it can't be the internal amplifier.
Does anybody know where a replacement speaker can be found?
if i'm not mistaken, a speaker of that size cannot possibly give you the type of sound you would find on a desktop computer.
and if i'm not mistaken as well, speakers of all phones are really horrible, compared to using the headphones. so it's a normal thing.
i believe there are speaker accessories for the x10. look at SE's global website
To clarify:
The phone had clear sound for months.
One day, the sound was distorted.
It has remained distorted, even at low volumes.
The headphone sound is still clear.
Therefore, I suspect the speaker is damaged.
I don't want external speakers, I want to hear my ringtone when I get a call!!!
(bump)
Any sources for X10 parts???
why don't you send it to se that they repair it for you ?
here is a page with spare parts:

call me crazy, but blow (using your mouth!!) into the speaker holes. My old C905 had the same thing and it turned out to be dust/sand/junk that was stuck in the speaker hole - causing the speaker to distort!
worth a shot hey!

Galaxy S6 Edge Aux-Out volume too weak

Hi to all,
I recently switched from an iPhone 6 to the Galaxy S6 Edge and I am having a problem with the Aux-Out volume being too low. I still have the iPhone 6 and particularly when I try it out in my car at the aux-out, it is way too low compared to the iPhone which is very loud.
What is the reason for this and how can it be fixed? I am very disappointed with the phone because of this, it renders it useless for playing music from it to a sound system or anything else because the volume is so weak.
when your playing audo through aux out in your car use the phones volume buttons to turn it up, I had the same problem and realised it needed turning up on the actual phone rather than the head unit in the car.
That is the first thing I did, the volume is all the way up and that is how it is.

maybe a dodgy connection then, does your headunit have BT? if so try using that.
also you could try downloading viper4android. that will definitely help
Probably Faulty connector. I use my phone with the stereo in my car and the volume is fine. My stereo never hits over 50%, otherwise it would blow my ears off.
I generally set my phone volume one notch under max.

Honor PLK-L01 headphones volume

Is there a way to increase the maximum headphones volume ?
Yes buy another headphone i am already on samsung one and soud is awesome
i use Denon AH-C50MA and sound is great
What's you headphones impedance? Mine piston 2's are loud even 3 volume bars @ 16ohm
Well i don't care about my earphones impedance as my previous smartphone (S3) could easily drive these with louder sound.
I think i will probably give a try with Viper4Android.
I also find the Honor 7 volume levels too low. The phone speaker as well as the headset.
Call volume is low as well but you can fix that by setting it into speaker mode.
The low headset volume annoys me the most. (I use HQ headset)
I found the service mode menu and had hoped i could increase headset volume levels there.

Sadly, there is no option. I tried some apps from the playstore but they didnt do anything.
I'm currently (officially) participating in the Android 6 Beta so am not rooted or anything.
Is there a way i can increase the level already?
Or maybe once I have the final Android 6, can i root/unlock the phone and increase the volume in another manner? I want to stay on the original roms, dont want to flash something else on my phone.
Anyone else finding this annoying as well and has a fix?
I am running 80ohm sennheiser dt880 and the volume is high enough for me so every mobile headphone with 32ohm should be easily powered to painful volume . Not sure which media you play, but if you need higher volume i suggest a mobile dac as headphone amplifier

HI-FI DAC Problem

hi guys, i have a problem with hi-fi dac when turning it ON, sound decreases about 50% and 1 of speakers turned of. anyone knows about that ? is it need a specific headphone or any wired headphone works ?
so, no one faced this problem ?
MY lg headphones are like that, they run on half volume. Tried others and work normal, but i dont see difference on others with dac on or off

That happened to me once, I rebooted my phone and the distortion went away:good:
I guess you're right. After the reboot doesn't make it anymore. Think it's really a bug. Hope they fix it
if it happens again just double check outdoor mode is off just in case. it sounds pretty bad, even at lower volumes.
side note, has anyone tried viper4android yet? curious to know if it runs yet since the built in ROG eq only covers from 250hz to 8khz, viper gives you 60hz to 16khz I believe
ive had the same speaker bug that resetting seems to correct
but what im wondering is if anyone knows how to increase the headphone jack volume
im almost always on max volume with how low the audio is
I've been having problems with the aux jack being distorted only in my car. That's been going on for the week I've had mine, but just last night I had really poor audio from my Bluetooth earbuds. A restart fixed it but it's becoming a big enough pain I'm considering returning it.
Edit: Using the fan attachment and the aux jack on it yields normal, staticless audio.
ASUS thread: https://www.asus.com/zentalk/thread-247148-1-1.html
I had to install the BOSE Companion App in order to increase the Volume to my BT Headphones
