update built-in supersu (bliss m unofficial port) - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I tried to install the latest SuperSU apk but it's says app not installed every time.....I currently have SuperSU 2.49 pre-installed/integrated into the ROM.....
I'm thinking about flashing the latest SuperSU(2.82) zip through twrp recovery but I don't know how it will react to the integrated SuperSU.....

[Q] How to install TWRP update

I have TWRP 2.6.0.1 and I checked the TWRP website 2.6.3.0 is already out. I downloaded goomanger and clicked menu then install open recovery script it downloads it fine then flashes message that it was installed. So then I reboot into recovery and I notice that my TWRP has not been update but is still on 2.6.0.1. I wanted to ask can I just download the 2.6.3.0 file then put it on my sd, boot into recovery then flash it?

Problem with CM12.1 and SuperSU

Hey,
I just flashed the CM12.1 ROM by Temasek yesterday and tried to gain root access again.
Downloaded the SuperSu 1.94 and flashed it with the recovery.
Installed SuperSU from the Play Store but as I try to open the SuperSU option in the settings, I always get this message: There is no SU binary installed. SuperSU cannot install it - You need to manually re-root.
Does anybody know how to get root again?
Thanx very much.

Cant install CM12 on SGP611

Hello,
hope this is the right forum to ask.
I have rooted my SGP611 and now I wanted to install CM12 with TWRP. But when I try to install the zip file I have an error message: E: Error executing updater binary in zip....
I have no idea what to do.
Can anyone help please?
What method did you use to root and do you have unlocked bootloader?
I have unlocked bootloader.
1. I have flashed Stock 5.02
2. Installed Kingroot 4.1
3. Installed XZDualRecovery 2.8.15
4. Boot to TWRP and installed SuperSu 2.49 Beta
5. Reboot and updated SU Binaries then deleted Kingroot
6. Boot to TWRP again and installed Super SU 2.46 and RICDefeat.zip
After that all I tried to install CM12.zip but didn`t work...

downloaded lastest stable supersu v2.65
downloaded twrp-surnia-3.0.2-r1
booted twrp without flashing (i don't want to install twrp) do this way in 5.0 and 5.0.2 adn worked
flashed supersu
phone stay at "warning screen"
to restore the phone i downoaded the 6.0 zip and flasched back the "sparsechunk.x" files
how to get the root back again in 6.0??
thanks.
exactly the same here, even with supesu 2.71 beta
You have to install the superSU v2.62-3 (it installs systemless mode) OR in the terminal of the TWRP enter "echo SYSTEMLESS=true>>/data/.supersu" (without the quotes) and then flash the version you want, in order to force the systemless install. I still recommend just use v2.62-3.
Supersu zip v2.62-3 and try: http://download.chainfire.eu/751/Sup...1211162651.zip
thinks @basili
I finally managed
That worked for me too
how
thanks it worked fo rme too
simply install TWRP 3.0.2r1 then supersu.2.62.3
I have a question. I installed the SuperSU 2.62.3 like its recommended in post #3, but Google Play shows that there is an update. Can I update it safely now?

Supersu update binary files.

Hi guys, I have a problem after updating the app supersu playstore in the 2.78 version.
When I open the app tells me to update the binary files, but the installation fails, using the normal method and the method TWRP.
I tried to flash from TWRP recovery the supersu 2.78 zip, but when you restart the terminal and try to update the binaries, the installation fails.
I have the latest rom 17s of cuoco92 and TWRP 3.0.2.3 always cuoco92.
