My phone recently have gone into a boot loop, so I booted it into recovery and wiped it in order to reflash. But then, when I updated the TWRP recovery to the latest version, the phone stopped bootin into it. Now only the fastboot mode works, and when I try to boot into recovery, it just reboots. I am trying the twrp-3.1.1-0-kenzo on my Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro. How do I make it work?
When u flashed new recovery did you try booting it using key combo before booting to system

Of course. That's when it just flashes the red light indicator and reboots. In fact, there is no "system" to boot into, as I wiped it clean before reflashing the recovery.

Why did you flash a newer version of TWRP, instead of a rom? Reflash the working twrp which was working before you wiped in order to reflash.

I don't remember which version it was. I think, it was something 2.x.x, and I can't find anything earlier than 3.0.2 anywhere. 3.0.2-0-kenzo also does not work for me.
bro,Install twrp by this method.

I just switched my phone on, and it booted into TWRP recovery that I installed eralier! But all the storage partitions were showing zero size, so I reformatted them and selected "reboot into recovery" option. But it did not boot into recovery, and now it is stuck on the "MI" logo and the "Volume Up + Power" key combo only makes it reboot, just like before. How do I boot into recovery?
I figured it out. The whole deal was about dead battery which caused the device to fail to boot even the recovery, even when charging. It charged up a bit, and I sucsessfully flashed the phone.

So... I got my HTC One today and it's been a very difficult experiance. I am quite a newbie when it comes to rooting and such but I managed to unlock my bootloader (with the exception that it shows TAMPERED at the top) then proceded to flash TWRP through fastboot. TWRP wouldn't mount /data, /sdcard, etc... it wouldn't work. A little bit of searching led me to flash CWM instead and that seemed to work.
In CWM I wiped data/factory reset, then flashed SuperSU, then flashed CleanROM, then flashed BulletKernel, and finally reboot. Now I'm stuck in a bootloop and when I go to my bootloader and try to enter recovery it reboots, shows the CWM logo then reboots my phone. I tried re-flashing CWM via fastboot to no avail.
TL;DR: Phone is in bootloop and won't even boot into recovery
Any help would be much appreciated,
Thank you!
EDIT: Had a feeling it was due to the fact I didn't clear cache/dalvik cache before rebooting. I erased my cache via fastboot and voila it booted into recovery!

Boot into bootloader. Then do fastboot erase cache. Then try rebooting. If you can get into recovery but not ROM, reflash the ROM. If you can't even get into recovery still, try reflashing recovery. Fastboot flash recovery recovery.img. Then try getting into recovery and reflashing.

So last night I rooted my phone using the All in one toolkit. Flashed hyperdrive rom and after getting everything setup I went to bed.
Some apps were kind of freezing this morning so I tried to boot into recovery and it wouldn't let me. It shows the loading recovery at the top then it just boots my phone up. The only way I can get into Recovery atm is by using the all in one toolkit. Anyone had this issue before? I wipe cache, dalvik, and fixed permissions. Still can't boot into recovery without the toolkit.
if you can get into recovery by typing adb reboot recovery in cmd then maybe your finger may be slipping when holing the buttons to boot into recovery.

Hold power + volume up, right when you feel it vibrate, let go of the power.
Yeah I tried all that. I ended up having to wipe everything and flash my first back up when i rooted my phone.... Thanks for the help thought.
I have the same issue. Stock, rooted, TWRP... I can use adb reboot recovery, but using the hardware buttons doesn't work. Any help is appreciated!
Ok so here is the story, I've tried to flash the TWRP on the tablet, and since then it keeps rebooting only in recovery, even when i try to boot in fastboot via the volume and power it just goes in recovery, no matter what i do it just boots in recovery
The bad part is the recovery is pretty much worthless because it asks for a password to the data (it was never encrypted) so i cannot install any OS
What can i do?
Thx

Which recovery did you install? Can you load recovery again and install a rom on an sd card?
So I tried flashing nottachtrix 4g and I've ended up in a CWM bootloop, everytime I reboot it just goes to CWM. I tried doing a recovery of my backup but that didn't work. Tried reflashing nottachtrix again, still doesn't work. Any tips?
thanks
Either download notachttix again or a different rom, wipe system, data, cache and try again.
Hope it helps

Tried that, no different, keeps booting into CWM recovery
Not sure if you tried flashing anything else, but if you are doing a restore make sure you are using the same CWM that you made the backup with.
I went through something like that with my OG SGS a couple years back...

Yea using the same CWM, still nothing. tried flashing a couple different roms, no dice.
Ok so I can get it to boot by holding volume down when booting and choosing boot android(no bp). But every time I reboot, it will still go to CWM. When i do get it to boot tho, I dont have any network reception, it says the baseband version is unknown

ok try flashing a radio thru recovery
Ok so it seems that booting to android(No BP) makes it so there is no phone signal, so that's not an option... The problem remains then, any ideas on how to get it to boot and not go to recovery...?
Alright so I can boot by doing "fastboot boot boot.img" where boot.img is from the rom I installed. It looks like my bootloader is defaulting to recovery for some reason? How can I make it default to android again?
I was trying to install Cyanogenmod 12 on my Note 3, I tried installing the zip through TWRP recovery, and it just booted to my old stock screen, so I downloaded the associated recovery, wiped and installed....and now I think I'm stuck.
Booting into recovery gives a blank screen, and the phone does not boot since I've wiped.
Any suggestions or fixes?
Thanks.
Maybe I'm in the wrong spot, but can anyone help me?

Fastboot doesn't seem to find a device. I was trying to flash there but I'm not getting any results.
