<For Miui> Third Step Change android_audio.mp3 to bootaudio.mp3 <link for Voltron audio> http://www.4shared.com/audio/I3GgVylb/Voltron_Force_2011_Opening__Le.html [Always Rename BootAnimations to bootanimation.zip] [Sense based Roms all bootanimations go to system/customize/resource] All Thanks to despotovski01 for his excellent Bootanimation/Audio Tutorials
Miui> make sure you select Voltron bootanimation in Theme Manager or just delete all downloaded bootanimations and the Voltron one will be your Default.*For audio just change mp3 to bootaudio.mp3, set in system/media and change permissions to rw-r-r-
Another Reserve
For MIUI Roms just another method...
Animation:
Download the boot animation file and rename it bootanimation.zip and place it into the system/media folder. Go to theme manager and under the "boot animation" tab select "default." No need to change permissions.
Sound:
To hear the boot sound you have to convert the file to ogg format then place it into the system/media/audio/ringtones folder. Go to theme manager and choose the file under the "boot audio" tab. You can name it anything you want. No need to change permissions. Ogg converter here.
I went ahead and uploaded the ogg file here for you guys.
@vqt This method worked for me...can you post a tutorial for ogg format, plz and thankyou

i don't know anything about making a boot animation but does it have to do with the frames/second. Usually i unzip a boot animation and look at the png's, it is like a flip cartoon book so i don't know if you need more frames in there to make it more smooth.
Yup its like a flipbook and the more frames taken the bigger the zip...I've been trying to solve this issue. I use powerarchiver to make the zips....but it really doesn't compress them much I think this animation alone was 235 still frames here's the tutorial I used incase anyone wants to learn http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1096068
o yeah bro! pretty sweet
ftw.. (fyi official cool guy setup!)

this is nice good job!
@Ascarface23 Thanks man, working on a full Voltron forming boot now, but having trouble with sizing @abctilly it's the New Voltron Force Black lion running and then coming at the screen Im new to this man give me a little time to learn how to post an animated Gif and ill try to post one or make a video...I guess it is sorta silly of me to think someone would try this blindly(Thanks to all who have )
I took this bootanimation from an alpha release of ICS for my phone (otimus g2x).
All I did was resize the animation to 768x1024 to accommodate our TP screen size, I also increased the frame rate to 30 (because that's what I'm used to).
I take no credit for this, all the credit goes to the devs that worked on ICS so far.
Just in case you don't know how to enable this animation:
1. Copy it to your TP.
2. In your file explorer go to system/media and either rename your current bootanimation.zip to something like bootanimation1.zip (if you don't want to lose it) or just delete it.
3. Still in your file explorer, copy the new bootanimation.zip from your sd card to system/media.
4. reboot and enjoy.
From what I saw, this is the same bootanimation that comes with the ICS themed rom in inseaon's thread
Thanks, this also comes with the cm7 xron-ified b2 rom. I like it alot.
Thanks for pointing that out, didn't realize B2 was out!
just drop it in the /data/local dir so you dont have to over write the original.

Sure, go for it. It's nothing compared to the great work you've done with your roms . This bootanimation covers up the whole screen, it might be a little faster because of the 30p but i don't think its noticeable

Galaxy Grand Prime Boot animations
As you know, samsung touchwiz new ROMs have a .qmg file format for their boot animations. This is a small tutorial on how to change your boot animations
I am not responsible for anything that happens to your device. Make a nandroid backup just to be sure. I am just showing what you need to do.
You need to have a:
Rooted device
Aproximate knowledge
(Optional) Custom Recovery.
Well,okay.
This is what you'll need to do:
Download the boot animation in a zip form wich has the qmg files. Be aware that our phone has a 960x540 resolution.
(Optional) Make a nandroid backup if you don't have one.
Flash the zip file.
Now,wait probably 5-6 seconds on the"Samsung GGP Powered by Android " screen, the system searches for the animation and "cooks" it.
Optional,if no Custom Recovery is installed
Download the zip format file with qmg files. (probably you'll like to have ZArchiver,Es File manager or ay other file manager that you like)
Extract the files and replace them in the root/system/media. You'll see here your original qmg files, rename them .bak (eg. shutdown.qmg.bak) and change the permissions to rw-r-r.
Reboot and hope for the best.
USE THIS THREAD TO POST NEW BOOT ANIMATIONS.You can freely post here you bootanimations if those are yours,if not POST THE AUTHOR'S LINK here.
!!! do not use mediafire for your/public bootanimations since it corrupts files and that's the last thing we want.
bro bootanimation is easy, i need help whit bootlogo plissssssss
Hello Everyone,
Today i am going to show you how to change that boring boot animation by this cool one. So lets begin:
STEPS :
For Cyanogenmod users -
1) Download the file from below.
2) Install as normal apk.
3) Go to Settings>Themes>Boot animations.
4) Browse the boot animation and apply.
5) Done, Show this awesome boot animation to your friends.
For normal users - (Root needed)
1) Download the file from below.
2) Download any root explorer of your choice.( I prefer Es file explorer)
3) Navigate to the downloaded apk and long press it.
4) Under the 3 dot menu select extract to and extract the apk.
5) Now you will find the bootanimatio.zip file in assets folder.
6) Now go to the root folder and navigate through system>media. Once there locate your current bootanimation.zip file
7) Long-press your current bootanimation.zip file, and click copy, as we'll want to have a backup just in case. Paste it wherever convenient for you OR simply change the extension from .zip to .bak
8) Once your new bootanimation.zip has been selected for moving, navigate back to system > media and paste it there. You'll have to overwrite your current animation zip, but that's fine since you have a backup in case something goes wrong. Go for it.
9) For many of you, the previous step will be the last step. But, if for any reason you're still stuck with you old animation, you can try aligning the permissions of your newly-copied bootanimation.zip file with the permissions in the system/media folder. In our case, those were rw-r-r. Just long-press your new bootanimation.zip file and click Permissions and change them until they fit. The logic behind these abbreviations goes like this: Owner - Group - Other. Read for 'r', Write for 'w', and Execute for 'x'. Save the changes and restart...
10) Done, Show this awesome boot animation to your friends.

No need to post thanks, just got the thanks button!
Don not have any pictures?
a sample video or picture would be great
Tried on RR5.6.4 on Xiaomi Redmi 1s. During the colored part, top and bottom have little black part, which looks kind of annoying. And I don't know whether its just on my phone, but in the end it looked like the animations broke. Rest of the parts are very good and really cool. Great work
awesome bro
i will try soon ,
thanks
I made a small preview od this animation, it is not full and GIF has very low resolution

nice

This one is probably the best boot animation I have ever used. A combination of Marvel and DC comics characters, it is a must-have for any Marvel or DC fan. It has almost all the popular superheroes like Batman, Superman, Flash, Captain America, Ironman, Hulk, Wolverine and many more. Just try it once and you will never want to switch to any other boot animation ever! It will definitely flaunt your device and set it apart from others. People will start noticing it as soon as you start using it. And they will probably be surprised how did you do this magic! Just kidding! But yeah, you will definitely start getting questions like "How did you do it?" "Please help me getting it" etc. Just smile and make a face like "Hey it's a magic"!! Try it to believe it.
Requirement:
1. A rooted Nokia 7 plus device (International version)
2. The bootanimation zip file given below.
3. Common sense and patience.
Instruction to use:
You don't really need to flash the zip file. I will make it very simple for you. Just download the zip file from the given link. The zip file will be like "bootanimation.zip". Now just open ES file explorer or any file manager with root access. Now locate the downloaded bootanimation.zip file and copy it. Now go to /system/CDA/600WW/Power-on-animation and you will see there is already a bootanimation.zip file. That is your current boot animation zip file. Just rename the current bootanimation.zip to bootanimation.zip1 for future reference and now paste the downloaded bootanimation.zip file that you copied earlier. Now just restart your device and enjoy all the superheroes on your device. Please note, it won't replace the stock "AndroidOne" splash screen that shows at the beginning. If you want to get rid of the Nokia tune at the starting, just remove the Power-on-Wakeup.wav. Once you set up the new bootanimation, don't forget to give it rw-r-r permission.
If you like the boot animation, don't forget to hit Thanks. It would inspire me to give you more cool boot animations like this.
Note: If you want to see who are all the superheroes there waiting to be unleashed, just download the zip and unzip it to see all the images there.
Disclaimer: Any changes to /system will break OTA update. Hence, you are requested to either take a complete backup of your device or get ready to sideload OTAs manually. I am not responsible for device bricking or bootloop.

U can better make a Magisk module for this to avoid OTA issue
