My friend has a stock unrooted neo v . He accidentally changed the screen unlock password and forgot ..... How to reset the password ?
How to start recovery menu in stock Rom ??
try again and again. after a fixed attemptes may be 10 or 15 it'll show option for forgotten password. you'll have to enter your email id (gmail) to reset it.
---------- Post added at 09:10 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:09 PM ----------
and there is no recovery in stock
I have tried this but after few attempts a 30 sec waiting time comes then again the same thing ... no option for Google account
okay. try this.... u need to make 20 wrong attempts in a row... (i.e. also wait for 30+30+30 secs in between).. after that the only way to unlock would be to signin to ur google account... may works.
Keep trying until u get the dialog which asks u to choose between '30s wait' or 'unlock with security question'..then choose next..then u'll have the option of choosing google account details..select and then click next
if u chose try again 30secs later..then select forgot pattern..and then google acount detail..select and next..
So the issue is that my device is requesting a Screen Lock Password as I pressed by mistake the lawmo lock 1234 option on the SIM unlock helper application, can someone help me with the leads on how to unlock it??
Pretty sure the only option is to reset at that point.

What do you mean by at the point, I have tried to flash the ROM, Factory Reset, Wiped the whole system using TWRP, but still same issue persists and it will keep asking me for the Lock Screen password!
is it lockscreen or sim lock?

If sim lock...how many tries left
??
Sincerest apologies as I did not do enough research before attempting to answer before.
2 things to try:
1) Default password is supposedly 1688. I have no way to verify this but saw it mentioned in a couple of threads.
if that doesn't work...
2) use file manager in TWRP to remove omadm and lockscreen apps.

It is a lock Screen Phrase, not a sim lock!
My Huawei mate 10 Pro is stuck on "Your device is booting now..".
The phone is obviously bricked and the problem is, I can't access eRecovery.
I've tried everything and the worst part is, The bootloader is unlocked but the FRP is locked.
I can't flash anything. I've spent 15 euros to unlock the FRP with DC-Unlocker but it didn't work.
Is there any way to unbrick my phone?
Edit: Solved with Testpoint.

Dload firmware from androidhost.ru should be able to fix it.
Just search for your current cust/build
You will need a OTG cable and a memory stick to do this though

Hey,
I'm trying to boot the phone to Download Mode but it just gets stuck at "Your device is booting now..." I'm pressing the Vol Up + Vol Down and Power button.
The USB is formatted in exFAT.
Could that be a problem?
try funky huawei. You'll need to pay 15 dollars to unlock frp and run erocovery (read the instruction careful). Also you'll need to change dns addresses on your router.

btw DC-unlocker sent me back money. Ask them

I can't boot recovery.
Hi,
Today, I took the following procedure to prepare my phone for sale:
1.) Using EMMA flash latest "stock' version
2.) Booting it up brought standard android welcome screen, asking for it to be set up
3.) In flashtool, I re-locked the bootloader
4.) On reboot, there is no "Xperia" boot screen anymore, but only a "powered by android". After a short period, I it asking me for a password to boot android (looks like the device encryption password prompt).
However, I have never set a password and I do not known how to continue from here.
Since the bootloader is locked now, I cannot flash with EMMA again.
Does anyone have any ideas how to boot into android again?
Try re-unlocking the bootloader
Did you restored the DRM-keys ?

Hello, constantly crashes message There's an internal problem with your device. Contact your manufacturer for details. I can't even pass the welcome screen, it restarts after 10 seconds, what should I do ?
