In phone - settings - Mi unlock status - Add account and device - when i click on it - i have a error 10008xxxxxxxxx
But in mi account - in devices - Mi 5X is already.
What's wrong?

apply for unlock
install china developer ROM [not work on stable]
wait 72 hrs and then unlock with mi unlock

Yes but problem was with VPN. I have to change VPN to China and then add poduct.

i've got the same issue when using stable, and then flash china dev rom, which is miui 9, but still got the same issue in phone - settings - Mi unlock status - Add account and device - when i click on it - then this appear: 10008xxxxxx

You have to download VPN and change to China - next in phone settings - Mi unlock - you have to add your mi account. Then will be ok.
Next step is unlock bootloader.
Then upgrade to miui9.

Hello, I was able to add my account through vpn, but then when I try to unlock I have this error ... do you know what it means?

i have not idea about MI A1 bcz some user on miui forum said it come without Recovery Partition or No Recovery Partition during twrp flashing check it here..

Third generation (Snapdragon 425, 430, 435, 625) – Android 7.1.2. Second generation (Mediatek MT6582 and Snapdragon 410) – Android 7.1.2. First generation (Mediatek MT6582) – Android 6.0.1.
MI A1 snapdragon 625. no risk flash recovery if not work again flash stock recovery
