Does the charging module contains the cellular antenna? - LG G5 Questions & Answers

I'm using the At&t variant. My charging module have a yellow mark that said "SKT". I searched for the replacement module for the At&t variant and sees that the module has the "NA" yellow mark. Does that means that my device is using the wrong charging module?
Does it explain the low signals i've been receiving?

Do you mean the OEM one or one of the inserts? Many (most?) of the inserts block (or at least hamper) NFC. I have the OEM back and I think it works BETTER than the battery antenna. I used it at the cafeteria at work and it picked up from about a 1/2 inch away through a case.
Edit: also, there is a massive thread in the accessories section (wireless chargers and cases) that discusses this ad nauseum.
The OEM back from Verizon. I am talking about physically putting the nfc sticker on the charger itself. It scans fine when not on charger but I stuck it on the charger and it doesnt read :S

The consensus is that it probably won't work without doing some kind of modification with cases.

Is the LS992 charging module compatible with the H830 mobo?

Hi.
I imported an LS992 not knowing what firmware version it was beforehand (I knew I was taking a risk but it was in mint condition and real cheap) unfortunately it was LS992ZVF - neither the hiddenmenu apk or my octoplus dongle/software can do anything with this firmware version....
....so I imported an unlocked H830 mobo.
Now when I replaced the mobo and turned it on it comes up please insert a compatible module.
Before I go on ebay/amazon and get a module designated for the H830 (possibly even the cam plus module for the extra 1200mah battery) I just wanna know is it truly definite an ls992 charging module will not work on an H830 mobo or could it possibly be the minor damage to some of the H830 mobo pins that go into the charging module port?
--If the LS992 port is supposed to work then I will hit the seller of the H830 mobo up about the board and get a refund
--If it is not supposed to work at all then I don't mind risking $10 to get a cam plus and try that because if that doesn't work also and the minor board damage is indeed affecting the pins then I will hit up seller/refund/get a diff replacement mobo.
Thanks.

LG G5 - where is the GSM antenna?

Hi there.
I have a G5 as my backup phone. Recently, I've replaced the fingerprint scanner (it stopped working as a button, no cleaning would help, so I've bought new part online and replaced it), and after that I have no signal (-1dbm 99asu). Not even an alarm call is possible.
From my research, the antenna module is the bottom slice of the phone, you attach the battery to (one with mic, USB-C and bottom speaker)? I have both original bottom part and a Cam+, no signal on either of them. Where else should I look for any damage, that would lead to my problem - no signal at all?
I have a similar problem. The signal is very low everywhere, I tried to clean all the contacts between the bottom part and the phone, and nothing changed.
Me too i have a problem with the signal since display change. How can i get it fix. The phone has very low signal and it has network only on 3g on LTE it hasnt any network and 2g signal doesnt have.

Well, the pcb or mainboard has a small flex type antena on the back of it, it's black and has some lettering on it and it connects using coaxial type push connectors, also the phone connects to the aluminum case via some exposed pins on the mainboard, the case acts as an antenna also, if you need pictures I can take some tomorrow, I work in a cellphone shop and I fix an LG g5 almost every day, we have some main boards laying around, you most likely bent one of the pins that connects to the case
nah i got the same problem here after disassemble the phone. I already clean all things that contacted with the backdoor or with mainboard but the problem still there. Only got 0-1 bar of 4g even it near the tower until it change to 3g with the same condition. but the 2g signal is always full bar.

Question No cell or internet service after changing charging port board

I recently had to change out the charging port board on my Moto G Power 2021. I ordered the board from Amazon. Ever since changing, I've had no cell or internet service. What could I have done wrong?
Wrong part. Is there more than one variant?
Is there a part number on the original pcb?
I don't know if there are multiple variants or not and there are several numbers on the original Board. See photos and thank you!

Does the cellphone antenna connect to this USB port module? if so recheck that the little connectors are plug and 'click' as they should because it's very easy to overlook and damage it or the cable part when disconnecting.
