hello guys ,
Is it possible to make miui rom on tom of android 7 or 8 after it arrives
For me I don't like stock based custom rom i like miui but getting android update is not possible so why not make a custom miui rom
as we all know now we will not get android update from Xiaomi they will only give miui update.. as we all know android update doesn't make any changes in ui when it comes to miui but i think upgrading new android over same miui will do under the hoop performance and more efficiently things can anyone help me with this idea
is this possible
Miui may be bad for performance, ram management ,and bettry life but i myself debloted miui and get sot of 9h easily

Why would some built a MIUI which is bad for performance and ram management by your words when you can get same or better battery life with custom roms.
Make sense?

I've tried it with 2nd mm build from this month (I can't remember the exact version) and it was fine. Stable, a bit worse battery life than on LP, no lags, few bugs, new features in camera app, but they weren't working in that build.

do not install miui 8 mm , as after that if you want to revert back to any other rom imei is getting lost (even miui 7 is not working)

ohhh....
Miui 8 MM is gr8 flash the current 6.9.28 version.
*Good performance+ram mangement+battery life(sot-7-8hrs).
*No lags or bugs encountered.
*Volte is also working good.
@tezen03 You are acting like noob,do some research before you post anything.
About loosing imei, flash alka twrp and first backup your EFS partition then flash any custom roms.
If you loose your imei or baseband after flashing roms just simply flash back EFS partiton from the twrp backup,it will be restored in matter of seconds.
In My opinion Go for it! :good:

No need to compare , both are good.
The main difference now, People using Miui 8 is the Volte feature.
As i stated above about miui8 everything's gr8 but it has bloatwares .
Contrary to miui8 , RR is custom rom which is based on cm13 with tons of customization option.
-so if you want stock android experience with tons of customization option go for RR It is the best custom rom out there.
-it is also devoid of bloatwares,so you may get more free ram and better battery backup than miui8
-Con for RR at this time is Volte , Because xiaomi hasn't released MM kernel source , So it's not working on RR.
# nonetheless if you like miui and its customization option stick to it
#if you like stock android experience with tons of customization with base of cm13 and a stable daily driver custom rom go for RR.
^^RR i am talking about is "RR official by war machine"
Hope it helps you

In my opinion The stable roms are :
1.DU --> for gaming combined with elementalX kernel
2.PureNExus --> for gaming combined with Guyver kernel
3.AOSIP 5.9 --> signal bar is very strong, for battery combined with infected r6 kernel
4.Carbon --> signal bar is better than du,purenexus but inferior to AOSIP5.9 COMBINED WITH INFECTED R7 kernel
great battery life.
Using all Roms with dual boot patcher.
********************
UPDATE :
some of the most stable roms are :
1.CANDY 7 by nick + icecold kernel
2.AOSIP 6.3
if u really looking for bugless, stable rom like stock miui go for Omni official rom  tested , the button mapper app well u may not use it according to the bug posted, becoz u wouldn't have touched in miui too :silly:
Try Epic ROM 8.5.3.0 stable

Right now I am on multirom miui and for atleast 6 months I will not switch roms due to exams.
Btw I have tried
Omni ROM - it has signal issues, while playing games on stock kernel cpu frequency always stuck on lower frequency which caused lags and heat , same thing happened with rr by movzx.
movzx resurrection remix (rr) boots faster than any roms i have tried, signal is best, the only problem is low transfer speeds when copying files and earphone issue , one side work but not the other one. can't say much about battery because didn't try it for long time only 4 days.
AOSPA Was laggy but has great audio IMO. can't flash custom kernels
that's it
hope that helps.
P.S. : Till now i have tried around 19 roms.
Try epic ROM

By any chance does anyone believe that the title of this thread could be grammatically wrong it could be 'Most Stable' instead of 'Most Stability'. .
