I guess, I won't support this thread anymore. Our device is not good anymore, and our Wildfire's can't use all new apps because of very slow Arm v6 processor and GPU lack. But anyway, if you have any good ideas - write it here.
I hope, that this thread was useful for everyone. Maybe I'll back, but I guess, it will happen only when I will buy new phone, so I won't back coming soon. Thanks for everything.

Thanks mate really useful.
I would like to add 2 facebook apps that actually work. (smoothly)
1- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1200207 (real deal)
2-Friendcaster pro.
Oh, I almost forgot Brits! "Rainwatch" is the Uber weather app for us. It basically is a local cloud map. Which is what matters here
Thanks, is a great list of apps.
One thing I would ask, is can apps be rated for how speedy or laggy they are on the wildfire.
For example GO SMS is lovely, particularly with its flip screens but I am using Pansi SMS and it is much faster, and has a less cramped text box.
A few apps the I really love that worked really well on the wildfire are :
Beyond podcast
Gtasks
Flext9 voice recognition software, there was the occasional glitch on WiFi, one time out of 10 that dictation would fail, fine on 3G . rocksolid since rooted.
Could moderators make this thread sticky?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1272870
Doubts on a sticky mate your not even in the correct section, would be more suited in the themes and apps section, but goodluck.
Regards Slymobi.
" the ability to read is good,
the ability to understand what you've read is great "
Excellent app list
However launcherpro is much faster and smooth when compared to go launcher
Sent from my HTC Wildfire using XDA App
additional for me: viber, YIM with voice, exDialer, textfree.
Added more apps to list ...
Mate... u just forgot to mention the name of famous "XDA" app
Without it all XDAians are unsupportive.

I didin't forget XDA
13. Tapatalk: With this app you can go to some forums. For example with Tapatalk you can go to XDA forum. Also there are many other forums.
Apps2rom works well to move apps to ROM memory instead of sd. It also works for apps that can't be moved to sd. Nicely frees up space using faster internal memory. Only app I found that didn't like this was spotify.
Couple this with titanium backups new option to move dalvick data to ROM and you free up a lot.
i used gtasks up to now, but i've found a new app (now featured on market) called any.do. very functional, synces with google tasks, has great widgets.... all the best
Droid wall, advanced task killer, xda, superuser elite, SD maid pro, titanium backup root, app brain, appy geek and of course my favorite HTC app teeter
sent from my steroid powered, cyanogenmod filled wrecking machine! using xda app.
Nice thread! I'm downloading Pansi SMS now, I've used Handcent and Go SMS Pro, but they are both slow
Some of my favorite apps (that are not already in the list in the TS): Android Assistant, Quickpic, My Data Manager, Plume, Airdroid, No-Frills CPU control, ADW Launcher EX, and more
Oh, and don't use task killer apps. It's integrated in Android since 2.2 and using extra task killers only slows your phone down.
Excellent list, thank you
After long long time... Update . I added more apps and now these aps are sorted. P.S. Moderators, please move this thread to HTC Wildfire Themes and Apps and make it sticky. Thank you very much .
It's a decent list of things that work well on wildfire, although it's missing a few different launchers which imo definitely deserve to be up there with go launcher, adw, launcher 7, 360, espier and I'm pretty sure there's more, also there's 2 or 3 threads already on this subject so what exactly stands yours apart from the others to deserve it to be stickied other than the fact you've categorized it?

I think my thread better than others because all the best apps are in one post. In another thread (name is share your apps whithout you can't live or something like this) all apps is in different posts and it is not sorted so, it is difficult to find app that you really need. Also in this thread I explained what every app does. So... Of course I didn't say that you must make it sticky. So moderators just can move it to other forum. But I hope moderators will make it sticky. Sorry for poor english :/.
Sent from my piece of **** using Tapatalk.
Update: Thread is moved to themes and apps (thanks to our moderators), added some more apps like shazam, turnin radio, some apps are moved to the other category .
Got a great idea today :
Android rom with Launcher 8 as default launcher, messenging 7 as default messenger app, WP7 email as email app, WP7 dialer as default dialer.
In short windows phone look with android fun with lot of free memory. I know these apps can be installed from android market but with less internal memory this idea will be great to be watched for.
I have a xperia ray with optimax 2.0 rom.

maybe windows phone 8 will ported Xperia phones by developer
As many of you already know, Google announced at the I/O 2016 that they are going to merge Chrome os and Android,in simple words they are going to add Google Play Store to Chromebooks.
Even though it's 'Google' who is coming to the party,i still believe that the winning point is still with Jide, the PRODUCTIVITY which Chrome os lacks.
So how do you think Jide can improve the RemixOs into a more productivity focused system that chrome is not capable of..? Feel free to share your ideas
1. Multi-user - Thanks to help from @HypoTurtle, I have multi-user working but it needs some improvements
2. Improved windowing and multi-tasking
3. SIM integration for systems that have data card slots - My Lenovo Twist has a SIM slot and it would be very helpful
4. Portability across laptops/tablets/phones - With a common interface and apps, I think it would def be a winner. I have same layout and apps on my phone and laptop now.
Just a few of my nice-to-haves

So which is best? RemixOs or Phoenix OS?
Which has less gpu issues? can Phoenix OS run Sonic 1 without frame buffer graphical issues like RemixOs and can it run FX-Racer Unlimited
without getting stuck on the loading screen before entering the race track? irc it worked without issue on bluestacks.
Both are based off Android-x86 5.1 so both should suffer from the same issues no???
Android-x86 also has a extra option called "apps compatibility" under settings says something about native bridge and ARM libraries but this option is
missing in RemixOs.

Phoenix runs cooler on my lappy for me(windows still the coolest) but there's some lag when launching/resizing apps, the hdd led will blink a lot, remix a lot smoother. Also on phoenix, sometimes chrome's webpage content will disappear if i open too many apps and take a second to reload when i switch back to chrome(like it swapped to hdd). Also there's no installer for google play services for phoenix as far as i can tell. As for app compatibility, 1 game i tried that worked in remix but didn't work in phoenix and funnily the amazon appstore that remix bundled doesn't work properly but it works flawless in phoenix, so it's pretty spotty.
Sonic is exactly the on Phoenix OS the framebuffer is broken on intel gpu both appear to be using the same gallium driver version.
FX-Racer Unlimited not sure I think i've found out neither Phonenix OS or Remix OS support touchscreen emulation just hardware keyboard + mouse input .so it's not getting any input, you'd think it'd the do mouse in dual / tandem as both touchscreen emulation and regular hardware mouse input.
Hey folks,
I have a chromebook flip c100 and I like to use the chrome web browser on it because chrome has a vertical scrollbar I can use with the mouse and also, when chrome is fullscreen, the url/bookmarks/tabs bar appears when my mouse goes to the top of the screen.
I like the the z4 tablet because its light weight would make it a better pdf reader than my flip ... and it's also waterproof ... but I am wondering :
which web browser do you use on the Z4 tablet ? how would you compare it to chrome on a touch chromebook like the flip c100 ?
Thanks for feedback !
Pierre
One option is to use a remote desktop application (chrome remote desktop, windows remote desktop, ...) to use a PC web browser on a remote PC from the z4 ...
(but this probably implies loosing touch features like pinch to zoom, etc ...)
in my case it looks like I'd better wait for a detachable chromebook (there are at least 2 coming : https://chromeunboxed.com/another-detachable-chromebook-soraka-begins-development/ )
I ve been trying a lot of android browsers on my flip c100 in the last day and so far the one that seems to use the screen estate the most efficiently in my use cases is Opera in phone layout mode.
Opera in phone layout mode is able to display the 25 conversations in my google inbox like the chromeos chrome web browser does (so I don t have to scroll to view all of them)
I ve just received my z4 with its bkb50 keyboard but I didn't find a nice way to get opera in fullscreen mode, so I have asked another question here : https://forum.xda-developers.com/z4-tablet/help/apps-fullscreen-immersive-mode-t3660546
I found that "Free adblock browser" is also good in my use cases on the z4. It seems to be based on chrome/chromium 54 (not new) but this doesn t seem to impact my browsing. It can force user agent to desktop (which you can't do with chrome/chromium except with some hacks : https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1811101&page=14 ) and the adblocker seems to work better than the one in opera ...
I tried XBrowser, it's fullscreen immersive experience is perfect on our z4 with keyboard and touchpad in desktop mode BUT it doesn't display enough content (for example it displays only 19 conversations in desktop gmail, whereas apps like chrome can display the 25 conversations I have in a desktop gmail page), that's a real pity and I am contacting the developer ...
as said on https://forum.xda-developers.com/z4-tablet/help/apps-fullscreen-immersive-mode-t3660546 the "Custom Navigation Bar" app https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/app-custom-navigation-bar-customize-t3590967 works good in immersive mode
also I found out that Opera has improved his adblocker which now seems to be on par with "Free adblock browser" (and Opera has advantages over "Free adblock browser" like data compression, bookmark sync, offline pages, etc ...)
I found out that Opera has improved his adblocker which now seems to be on par with "Free adblock browser" (and Opera has advantages over "Free adblock browser" like data compression, bookmark sync, offline pages, etc ...)
I am trying the kiwi browser now https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/app-kiwi-browser-chromium-adblock-caf-t3797252
quite a new project but the developper seems to be experienced and the browser seems to be fast (maybe because it has a good adblocker ?)
free adblock browser has been updated to chromium 64 and is better (there was an annoying refresh when you have chosen "desktop mode" : pages were first displayed in mobile mode then in desktop mode .... this "defect" has been fixed)
it also has a fb support community : https://www.facebook.com/groups/186002138519895/
(I like the fact that you can listen to youtube videos in the background with the kiwi browser)
On my Z4 tablet, I typically use the default web browser Google Chrome.
KIWI Browser 77.0.3865.92 ( 18.08.20)
