What i did was i installed miui 9 pre alpha that was poryed from mi max and after installing that my rotation sensor is giving opposite value for eg i rotate the screen in asphalt xtreme and if i tilt left it steers right what can i do to fix it anybody please!???

Well nothing you can do about it, it is clearly not meant to be used as a daily driver yet so either stick to a working ROM (such as LineageOS) or MIUI 8

I saw there is a new dual touch driver that less sensitive on zooming for X10MP. But I get a failure "file exists" while insmodding. I wish the new driver can use on my X10MP.

When I put two fingers about 1.5 cm distance, it will ZOOM in extremely.
I have to either but the fingers reeealy close and then zoom with fingers gaining distance, or - I have to put my fingers on the display in distance = cca 2-2.5cm and then do what I want (zoom in, zoom out).
Anyone having the same problem?

Yes I have the same problem. What driver are you using, first release(5/5) or later released version?
The driver seems updated in CM6 v3 and CM7 v14.5. I copied the driver from CM6 v3 but it can't insmod on my X10MP.
The driver I'm using.

You can avoid sudden zoom by place your first finger on the upper part of the screen, if you use your x10mp landscape place your first finger on the left part of the screen.

I have an x10 mini pro with MiniCM7 Pro v16 installed on it. My question is about the sensors (accelerometer, orientation).
I have an app that just simply shows the accelerometer x, y, z and the orientation sensor azimuth, pitch, roll on the phone's screen using TextView's. The problem is that after some minutes (3 ~) the sensors start lagging.
On v13 update's changelog there is a row: - fixed G-sensor. But for me it didn't fixed it.
My question is: anyone else noticed this? (or maybe I screw up something?)
Because I haven't seen posts about this issue in the MiniCM7 Pro's thread.
BTW the rom is awesome, I don't want to back to stock rom because of this issue, but it would be nice if it gets fixed sometime.

It is possible that, you skipped any step, so better reflash the ROM.
But if the problem continues, ask the developer.
i m also facing the same problem in minicm7 pro v16...
i play games like hungry sharks and asphalt 5 .... the g-sensor is very unresponsive and slow. ...
but when i switched to sonystlye v10 .. this problem was very much fixed.!
but again i have to use minicm coz i didnt liked the contacts portion
As we all Know, Some Tianma Screen Panel has Image Retention Issue, but on Custom ROMs, we adjusted Color Calibration via Either Kernel tweak or inside Display Settings. But with Oreo (8.0 and 8.1) Things have changed. UI turned Whitish Material Color and Display Settings for adjusting Different stuffs too. So Anyone Of u Facing same issue with 8.0/8.1 based ROMs?? I'm on Omni right Now and till now not faced. But What About U all..

I installed omnin 8.1 twice in my redmi note 4 and rolled back to LOS 14.1 because just after 15 minutes of usage I got image retention in omni 8.1 .
I also got the same in RR 6 (oreo).

Wait for next Build of Omni. It will have Manual RGB Calibration options. Till then U can keep Night Mode On with minimum Intensity. Or with Franco Kernel, Adjust RGB Value to 240 each.

On firehound. Gotta say the burn in is quite bad. Even though it fixes over time, but still.

If it's in warranty, Get screen Replaced.
i had same problem i just change screen panel and set everything on 50% (picture https://www.androidpolice.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/nexus2cee_cal.png) everything is fine now
Found Fix
I found the solution.. Just flash havoc rom will fk kernal.. Use smart pixel feature. Set the smart pixel setting to 25 percentage... And in display setting go to colour and set all the value to 95 percentage.. Done ??

Last day I tried the all new MIUI 10 on my mido.
It's awesome with some cool stuff. No bugs were there in the ROM.
But one single problem is that Gcam is not working in it.
It's Just a black screen.
But Panorama and Photo Sphere is working.
Lens Blur is also working. But Portrait mode isn't.
It was the much needed feature.
Tried many versions but no use. can anybody do something for the Portrait Mode to work ?
It would be very Good .

I am facing the same issue after updating in miui 10 official beta. Gcam arnova8 is not working. Please someone Fix this issue because lots of Redmi Note 4 users use Gcam arnova8.

It's working like a charm on miui 9, so it's a shame if google camera no longer working on miui 10 because miui deliberately disable it.

tried many recoveries, onle LR's team modified TWRP worked, and very smoothly !
everything going very well, battery performance improved aside of the new features !
I have until now 2 issues
first one is there's no fingerprint lock option in the setting as the MI 8 don't have in-display sensor
the second is the camera, the device have configured the zoom camera as selfie camera
pressing the rotation button lead to apply zoom rather than switching cameras
actually, the 2nd issue isn't a major one for me, as i am not a snapchat's fan.
but the first is a major one
any one who have a method to resolve this ?
