I've just got my Huawei Mediapad T1 8.0 8gb only wifi tablet and I was sorry to see that the newest official Android is 4.3, so I would like to install some custom ROM
I'm thinking about 5.1 but the newer the better. So far I found one or two.pages on google but they didn't look trustworthy, they had screenshots of phones, the articles referred to the device as phone, and I would.like to.avoid an scam or damage to my tablet. My question is do you think that there's some great newer android for my device?

I have same model, i never found a custom rom for it, i'm sad that 4.3 is verry old android for it...so i hope that someone will port a rom sometime...

Well, I guess any generic Android distro will do. I think about compiling a LineageOS build for myself, but I´d need lots of help.
You could check out what LineageOS is all about on their web site, or on youtube videos showing its features and performance.
I´ve successfully flashed it to a Samsung S5, and it works just like on those videos. Now I want to run it on my Alcatel A3 XL Max.
First of all, I´d like to figure out how to flash a new ROM onto an Alcatel device. Is there an Odin-like tool for Alcatel devices? Odin is for Samsung devices only...
But, besides that, I´d need lots of technical info on the device itself, in order to patch LineageOS´s drivers and stuff like that.
I have an Alcatel A3 XL Max (the one featuring 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage), but would happily compile builds for other Alcatel devices, should someone be kind enough to provide me with the needed tech info.

Can you please provide the stock ROM for this phone? I have a A3 XL and I need a stock ROM to repair it. I was trying to install a custom bootloader but it was not the one for this phone and now I can use it because it seems that no one has posted ROMs for this phone.

I did not need it, I just installed the application (androidmtk.com) and it found it automatically and then installed on the phone and it was restored to stock.

I can't find any good custom rom for my nubia z17 lite.I found lineage os 14.1 but it got heatwaves and touch is crazy Maybe some one has any? Or got site with it?
And i got second ask.
Can i install nubia z17 mini custom rom on it? It will destroy my phone or what?

I have an i9 which I liked and wanted the "newer" version of, so I got an i10, and it turned out to be the mt6580 variant, which is loaded with a trojan and spyware. I will attempt the magisk root to remove it, but would prefer a newer and smoother OS like lineage on the phone. The current one (Petersigned) doesn't work for this variant, and the other lineage roms I found listed as MT6580 compatible bootlooped on me.. so does anyone know of any lineage roms or similar that will run on the MT6580 K-touch i10?

In searching for an android 12/13 rom online, I've found the brasilian community for Moto G8s online and an unofficial Arrow os 13 rom for the G8 power. Since I can't understand portoguese, some of you have tried this rom? And if so, have you found any problems in installing or using it?
