Stealth Brick - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello. I have a Moto G4 Plus, still under warranty.
One evening, I go out with some friends, my phone is working normally.
In a bar I pull out my phone and try to look for an image on google, the phone starts to display some odd behaviour (the show all open apps screen kind of half fills the display with the browser filling the other half). I figure I'll forget about it and check later, I press power and put my phone in my pocket.
I wake up the next morning to a phone that won't boot, and this screen:
{

"lightbox_previous": "Previous",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
When I try to put it into recovery mode, I get this screen:
Now I know that it says software status is 'Modified', but I swear, I have never modified this or any phone I have owned. I literally went out with friends one night with a working phone and returned with it in this state. I have tried going through official channels (Amazon won't replace it as they say the guarantee is with the manufacturer), it was sent to Motorola for repair but they refuse to repair it unless I pay 130 Euros, because they state it has been modified. I refused to pay that, and weeks of arguing with them that I have done nothing wrong went nowhere, so the brick has been returned to me.
I am trying to fix it myself, but it's proving very frustrating. Windows can't see the phone, despite me having installed Motorola Device Manager (which does see the backup Moto G3 I'm currently using, so that program is working correctly).
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

[Q] Is my Vibrant "Bricked"?

Hello, all.
Well .. I don´t know where to start, but I know that I am very sad. Last Saturday, I went first use ODIN to return the original version of Android on my gadget. Apparently, everything went according to the tutorials forum and XDA initially ODIN began updating.
I don´t know why, at the first stage of the upgrade, the Vibrant display stayed with color pink and stopped updating. I waited for about 30 minutes and nothing changed Vibrant and not restarted.
I decided to restart it manually and got the screen below.
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
From that moment on my computer (Windows 7) did not recognize the more Vibrant via USB. Likewise, I can not leave it in download mode (I've tried everything). It is as if the USB does not recognize anything...
I ask the more experienced here: You can still retrieve it? I'm in Brazil and apparently they will not support this case, even though I pay for it.
Please can you help me?
Sure.
I got the same problem with U. The same screen, can't enter the download mode. Is there anybody know how to solve this problem>? One more question, can T-mobile repair that?
Same Here
I got the same screen when I tried to flash back to stock from eugene373's froyo rom. Any help for us noobs would be really appreciated.
Any one have this problem pm me im sure I can walk u thru this

[Q] Display screen full of "snow" for NO apparant reason!

Out of the blue, for NO apparant reason, my display screen is suddenly full of "snow". The phone itself is working properly because I have the HDMI out cable and I can see everything working properly when I use my TV as an external display. While using the HDMI/external display, the touch-responsiveness is normal.
I did do one hard/factory reset, that did't fix anything. I get a similar screen when the phone is in the OFF position and charging (when you should normally just see the picture of a green charging battery icon.
I know this looks like the symptom of an impact or some other physical damage, but I take SUPER good care of all of my devices and there is no way that I caused any damage to it. Earlier today, I was using the phone and all was well then I put the phone in my pocket. About 3 mintues later, I pull it out of my pocket and this is what I see!
Has anyone seen anything like this? I bought this phone about 6 months ago from expansys-usa, so I assume it's under warranty, but if there's ANYTHING I can do here myself, I'd rather take care of it here.
I'm a fairly advanced ROM flasher and am pretty comfortable taking phones apart and getting them back together, but I don't want to open this one up if it will void my warranty with expansys/Samsung.
I welcome help/advice/thoughts.

Best thing for you to do if you've got warranty is flash a stock from specific to your product code like you got it. delete everything on your SD card related to Modding and get a replacement for your warranty. Looks like hardware problems

Same problem here
I'm sorry to say that the phone not turning on is the infamous "bootloop" this is one of the situations where the phone doesn't even want to boot even less loop. I had the same thing. Literally I thought that my battery died and I put in my new and charged battery still no dice. It was dead and reacting to nothing. I baked my motherboard and the phone turned on and worked for 3 days then the same thing happened and I baked it again but it was gone...
I ordered a motherboard from aliexpress and let's see how that works out. Still waiting for it to come...

Help!! Since 27/3/18 Lock Screen and ad's!! I'm being attacked.

Since 27/3/18 (2 days ago) I think some virus has infected my phone. My phone is not rooted.
Every time I lock the phone it comes up with, per exempleur, the attached:-
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
. Also things like the (see the left-hand side) are popping up all the time. I am going out of my mind!!
I've tried all advice I can see online. I've installed Anti-Adware; Zemana Anti-Virus; MalwareBytes; CCleaner. I've deleted one or two questionable apps (not that they were added in the last two days or anything...). I've also followed the various guides about turning off ad-personalisations and opting out of ads etc through Google settings etc, though they keeps coming up.
What can I do save for factory resetting the entire device? How did this happen?
Interestingly, don't know if it's relevant, though a couple of nights ago (immediately before all this started) I was woken up at 2am by my phone making a horrendous noise. I couldn't turn the noise off I couldn't turn the phone on or off. I had to hold the three buttons and do a hard reboot. It felt like some kind of thing had taken over and I had no control of it. Now it's the same in a way... I think they might be linked.
HELP!!
Back up your data , do factory reset , unistall all app what you don't need if the problem is still there , then the problem is in your firmware .

Note 5 possibly bricked/droidcam

I have an old Note 5 lying around with a cracked screen. Not worth using except as a backup, not worth selling. I had a great idea: use it as a webcam!
I downloaded droidcam, used it a few times, forgot all about it. Until yesterday.
I turned on the phone and the screen was as in the attachment. I used Android Control to mirror the screen to my PC (effortlessly) and make sure the phone was actually working. I figured that the last time I used the phone, I had actually left the phone connected to droidcam for a long time (forgot about it) and it may have done something to the display driver or some such. No biggie, I'll just reflash, maybe it'll solve the problem, maybe not.
After some struggle, got the phone into download mode and used Odin to attempt to flash 3 different firmwares, all for my SM-920 XSG (UAE firmware). The first time it made it all the way to the end when it failed to write. The other two fail early on. I even attempted to flash a PIT, which worked and then everything failed after just as fast as before the PIT flashing.
So, anyone have any idea what's wrong with the phone's screen? It was working before and literally had been left alone on a table undisturbed. Also, it would be nice to unbrick the phone, so that I can donate it (as a working phone sans screen) or at least try to sell it online to someone who would fix the screen (or a local shop).
You don't tell me nevermind
