After importing GPX files, I can select the route under Settings -> Sports Trail.
One thing I couldn't figure out after selecting the route, I can press either 'selected' or 'Used'.
What is the difference between the two?

Hello,
I am looking for an app, which could get and save my current location provided by GPS sensor. Sure, there are Google Maps, but i can't save my position from there.
Gps status is another great example, but there's no way to export it in some file directly. It gives me coordinates in text format, then I have to open Google Earth, create pin and enter coordinates.
I would like to have something, that would allow me to save coordinates along with specified name. For exaxmple:
I get current position, provide name: "My House", and it would export the coordinates to file named My House.txt, which would contain cordinates.
Or even better, if it were able to export KMZ / KML files for Google Earth directly.
What's my reason to this ?
I am seasonal diver, and most of the time, I dive from the boat - I would like to "bookmark" my location and then, later at home I would like to check, where exactly the boat parked on the sea / where was I diving.
Do you know any app of this kind ?
PS: it is very important for me. I am leaving for my holiday in 2 days.
Many thanks.
You may try Share my position : https://f-droid.org/repository/browse/?fdfilter=location&fdid=net.sylvek.sharemyposition&fdpage=2 and maybe send an SMS to yourself ?
After some Play Store research, I have come to this.
So if anyone interested, check out this play store link.
It does everything, what I need. Get GPS, save it and then export in various formats - sql, csv, kml, gpx.

Hello everyone,

BizTexter most promising but far to expensive
BulkSMS-RISP Was the solution unfortunately the app doesn't work when trying to import a text file
MultiTexter - On XDA No option to import from text file
TextBlaster - WOuld have bought the subscription but no option to import list from text file
Multi SMSSender 2 no option to import from textfile or CSV
Group SMS Texter no option to import from textfile or CSV
Multi Text no option to import from textfile or CSV
Mass Text Orignal no option to import from textfile or CSV
GroupText no option to import from textfile or CSV
Anyone know any other? Tried with Airdroid but it keeps on hanging the browser {unresponsive script}. The web base client can't handle it. Will try with the desktop client and I really hope it doesn't hang .

FreeTextSMS Web Bulk SMS Solution is your choice
This kind of app is not easy to be uploaded to Google Play.
So I suggest you to try it from XDA Labs: https://labs.xda-developers.com/store/app/com.joege.freetextsms
Any question or problem, you may catch me through my signature.
Short introduction:
----
FreeTextSMS.net Web SMS Solution is a tool that will allow us to read and answer any SMS we have received on our mobile phone from the operator of any computer.
Using FreeTextSMS.Net Web SMS Solution will be really easy even for users who are not too familiar with this type of process. The first step will be to create a personal account on your website, after which we will only have to scan with the camera of our mobile phone the QR code that appears on the screen of our computer. This will automatically open an interface from which we will have access to the entire SMS system of our Android device and from which we can read and respond to any text message.
One of the most interesting features of FreeTextSMS.Net Web SMS Solution is the fact that it allows us to program the date and time of departure of any SMS, an option that will be very useful especially in the workplace.

I am running stock S Health application, regularly updated via Play store.
All of a sudden I can't export .gpx file from my cycling session. After pressing Export as gpx file I get notified that the workout was exported, but there is no file in My Files. I tried denying storage permissions in settings and then enabling it back, but that doesn't help.
The other issue is with the step counter. It is extremely precise at counting steps, but the conversion from steps to kilometers is completely wrong (almost double of the real value). Is there a way to calibrate or adjust the length of a step?
Thanks for help!
When I went through the threads in the forum I thought it is not possible to use the tracking data on the watch as GPX data without the help of the mobile or other external Apps.
In fact it is quite easy to do this with the watch only thus you can re-use already tracked trails or routes and redo them. The integrated Sport App will show always if you are on track.
Steps to Do within Sport App:
Open Sport App
Got to "Activities" and select a specific trail track and open (with a left swipe) the "Route" and push "Export"
Now your formerly tracked route is stored in gpx format in directory /Internal Storage/gpxdata (on the watch)
Go to "Settings" and select "Sport Trail" and select the trail you want to show in your activity
Now you can start a new activity e.g. "Trail Run" and it will show inline the selected gpx route
Of course if you have gpx routes downloaded from web you can put them directly, e.g. via explorer from PC, to /Internal Storage/gpxdata too.
It looks like below when you are on running track following the GPX route and you never get lost again

Using firmware 1.3.5 with included Sport App.
PS: I like the Sports App in specfic the GPS tracking on the watch very much. It would be even greater if the Zoom (+/- buttons) good be configured or at least set in smaller steps. Currently it jumps form 50m, 200m, 2km, 5km More intermediate steps would be very helpful e.g. 50m, 100m, 200m, 500m, 1km, 2km, 5km, 10km
Hello,
is it possible to edit the GPS trail directly in Amazfit app? Yesterday, when I was running, GPS made a quick jump and added me nearly 1 km to my trail...
I can do it in Runkeeper, but I would like to have the correct values in Amazfit as well...
The same thing happened to me a couple of days ago. My Pace GPS jumped me a few km away and then got the correct position a few minutes later. In all, it added 5 km to my route.
Currently it's not possible. You can however export the activity as GPX (or use AmazeBackup to export data to GPX or TCX), edit the file and then import it manually to a third party service like Strava or Endomondo. You can check the exported file using this web app: mygpsfiles.com.

Thanks, I know all this, what I miss is the possibility to import it back to Stratos...
You could edit the SQLite Database.
Look at the export thread in this forum how to get it
