Edit: Doesn't boot as secondary in MultiROM, both with and without Gapps. Probably not the fault of the ROM itself but rather MultiROM... I'm sure it works as a primary.

Some quick questions.
1) Does this flash in multirom?
2) Does the kernel included force encryption?
3) Is the kernel an actual 8.0 kernel or a hacked together N kernel?

After flashing different roms and JIO voLTE fix for my N9208 Dual sim device finally i decided to make one personal rom with Indian Firmware to avoid JIO voLTE issue and NFC battery drain. I made this rom for my personal use. But finally decided to share here .
This rom is based on latest Indian N9208 Nougat firmware with July security patch. U dont need to flash voLTE fix or remove NFC. Its purely based on Indian FW.
Well, its just a stock rom. No ROM control , no AOD etc.. Its for simply stock lovers..
This rom is heavily debloated. Rom size is just 1.13 GB only.. I have added some extra features that i use for my personal. This rom does not contains any S8 ported apps. I will make a separate Addon zip if someone need it..
Pls keep in mind that this rom is only for N9208/920C Dual Sim users. ( Especially Indian Users )

I can make buddy but i can't upload huge roms. I uploaded this rom with spending my money for data recharge. I am living in a village. Here no broadband or wifi. I am really sorry. U can find better roms than this.. Have a nice day my friend...

That is the best oreo rom what I tried yet. Everything works fine. I installed the modded Gcam too, because it makes more perfect picture in portrait mode than the Mi cam.

It isn't a bug.. You must activated it via kernel apps like kernel adiutor

There is a bug. When i set preferred mobile network wcdma/gsm and reboot the phone, the signal disappears...i must reinstall the rom to come back

I had the same issue after flashing the ROM, I had to reinstall wiping the system partition too (not wiping media partition obviously). Since then it worked like a charm!
P.S. Always make a nandroid backup before!

There are many device-related bugs as we can see.
Different hardwares/softwares will cause different bugs on different devices, and there's probably no way to fix all of them just by modifying this port, but by porting it to devices respectively.
Anyone feel free to do it on your device and distribute your patches and ports based on this one.
Look into the P semi-GSI and system/vendor images from other P preview to get some idea.
WARNING:I‘m not responsible for any consequences at all.This is an OEM rom port, it may cause wrong behaviors including partition overwritting and may brick your phone or break hardwares.I strongly recommend you take a completely full backup of your device and know how to recovery firmwares in case of any problems.

5.wipe data,flash fbe_disabler and Permissiver if needed for your device.
6.Reboot.
Tested booting on Redmi 3S
Normally it will boot to bootanimation.If it doessn't pass bootanim then take logs with
adb logcat > logcat.txt via PC.
NOTE: If you're stuck at logo , please make sure you can boot sGSI , try flash another Treble base.

It's a beta, so i don't recommand you to install it for daily use. And i have just installed it on my phone, so i don't know if there are bugs for the moment.

You're welcome. The stable build will be available normally in June for the china and Xiaomi.eu versions, and later in the year for the Gloabl one.

Sure, I have installed it by this way. But if you have a Global or European MI 9, you must delete the compatibility.zip file in the rom file.

This file check if you have the china version of the mi 9, so if you have the global/european one you will get an error. So it's important to delete it (don't worry, it will works), to do that, you just have to open the miui_CEPHEUS_20.4.27_2b15191b0e_10.0.zip file with an unarchiver like winrar or even the windows 10 file explorer. Then you can find and delete the compatibility.zip file.
For the stability, i didn't find any bug for the moment, everything is supersmooth. Anyway it's a china version, so some features are only in china (like mi ai a Google assistant replacant in China), and the languages available are basically Chinese and English. And you have to enable manually the Google services, play store, ...). So if you prefere to have a version without chinese only features and fully usable for daily use, I recommand you to wait for the global build, or at least the beta by Xiaomi.eu or other.
But if you don't worry about this, enjoy :good:

To enable the google services, open the "GetApps" app, and search for google, you will see an app called google services (with an icon like the play store one, but composed of puzzle pieces). Install/update it, then you will see the play store in your apps. If it crashes when you try to connect to your Google account, keep trying until it works. I hope that will help you.

This is not what we saw during the announcment, so for the moment this is a static wallpaper, but it adjust anyway with the dark theme. WE will have to wait a future beta for this. But de can download aod from the theme app right now.
