Moto E Condor : Critical situation : Help needed - Moto E Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Friends, let me tell my situation now on my only mobile - Moto E
1) Problem with my moto e power button, so I have manually removed my POWER BUTTON
2) I rooted my mobile, twrp latest installed, and was using Mokee Nougat ROM, and today flashed a ROM called "Stock Optimized with kernel" flashed through recovery but sadly i forgot to flash the su zip.
And now, this rom drains my battery too fast. I can't reboot to recovery, bootloader manually because no power button. In terminal app, the rebooting commands are not working since root is required. But I DO HAVE twrp installed in mobile.
Is there any way for me to reboot to recovery or bootloader ? I tried with terminal but no use. ADB is also not possible because i have to restart now to let my mobile detected as a fastboot/ADB device. I want to reboot to bootloader/recovery now to change this ROM.
KINDLY HELP

Sorry for late reply, I didnt install any new build, i was on stock jb build with V20c baseband, thats it,
n u need to be on latest stock jb build for unlocking bootloader,
above method works on almost any baseband
there are lots of different methods for unlocking bl for l9,
simple one is, (on device)
if u r rooted,
then install teminal emulater
open that
type "sudo"
hit enter
then type " adb reboot oem-unlock "
device will boot into bootloader mode,
press volume up, done
then follow rest of process, as above.......
I got this message

Updated P765 -v20C(Indian Version) to CM11 -Kang by Dhiru
Hi All,
First of all Thank you Droideking for the detailed guide for a noob like me. :good::good:
I have updated my L9 p765 Indian version with baseband version 20c (latest JB Update India) to CM11. I have used the ROM - UnOfficial CyanogenMod 11 [KANG] 11 by dhiru1602. The experience is awesome. The GUI is liquid smooth no lags unlike the stock ROM.:victory:
About the guide I would like to confirm that it worked absolutely fine for my Indian Version p765 with v20c baseband. There were no restarts encountered in fastboot mode. Only thing which happened was that when i was running adb command in the command prompt i got the error on command prompt saying adb is outdated please update. The error was gone when i ran the command prompt with run as admin option in windows. Also i used RomManager instead of GooManager as it was not available on playstore.
One more observation - Droideking, in the guide you have mentioned that install gapps after installing ROM and restarting the phone after completing setup. I followed the same but then i realised that RomManager was done as i did a reset and wiped the cache and done a reset. So had to download the RomManager apk on the sdcard and install to boot into recovery to install the Gapps. So i guess its better to install the Gapps soon after you have installed the rom in the recovery before restart.
Here are some of the screenshots of my p765..
Error during installation
When I choose install update from ext sd card and after that there is a error occur
The error is shown in picture...
Please help...
and when i use my stock rom unfortunately the process com.android.phone has stopped. is occurred.

God saves you buddy, this problem occurs due to wrong recovery, recovery stops itself from installing rom, n saves you from bricking device,
install latest recovery, 6.0.4.8 or twrp latest release, below is the link

[Q] Installing Custom Rom in Motorola Moto E XT1022 Indian version

I wanted to install a custom ROM. In my Moto E XT1022 and downloaded Paranoi'Android custom ROM . My phone is rooted and have installed TWRP recovery as well . But when I have read that installing ROM for SD from entering recovery mode gives as option to browse and chose the zip file from SD but when I choose that option it says install from SD complete and nothing happens . Also I have tried updating from ADB but I get error device not found while applying the sideload command on pc . The problem is when my mobile phone is switched on then I connect and I can see my device listed on adb devices but when I enter recovery mode the device list is empty. Please can anyone assist what I am doing wrong .
P.S. : I have installed correct driver on computer as I rooted couple of days back only also debugging is enabled.

Cubot cheetah root

Hi guys,
anyone know how to root this phone?
root on Cubot Cheetah 2

I flashed TWRP, attachted as rar file. I did it like this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/general/guide-clones-t3421539
Did you know that devices has build in recovery menu?!
It can only backup some user data for you
You can get into by pressing POWER and Volume+ for a few sec. while turned of tile boot.
Hold Volume + and press Power again.
***Do not press Volume down, it is "enter" in first recovery screen you maybe start fastboot or normal
***Volume + is for navigate in first recovery screen
Do not flash other super user as in thread... i did and had a heavy bootloop (;
hello
i cooked my 1st rom for a Cubot like this https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1801690.
Then i flashed it with the recovery. As installation stoped i got a message: "no os installed do you realy like to reboot?!"
So i cancel process to restore systemfiles which i backed up befor. *
But now all system app are gone and recover them with Titanium backup doesn´t work well. I also got those files from stock image and maybe most by another backup by root explorer. What to do right now?
Try to install my rom again? Via fastboot? Or flashing a clean stockrom i don´t know.
I´m uploading Cheetah 2 rom i cooked since hours, it is ~2gb
Maybe someone can look into it
My pc is to slow to run a emulator to test it. That´s why i try flashing befor posting download link dang

Any other?
Do you use same firmware as me? That very importat!
What doesn´t work for you?
Are you in develop mode, enable debugging or connected as android bridge?
I flashed today TWRP to another Cheetah 2! But this super user installation blow my mind and device!!! Installed chainfire (2.52) as in linked thread made my phone hang on cubot bootlogo. Then i downloaded SR2-SuperSU-v2.79-SR2-20170103215521.zip and i pass the boot but now all system apps are gone again! Recovered it with my TWRP backup.
Thinking about retry 2.72 SuperSu which maybe was reason of bootloop on 1st cubot rooting :fingers-crossed:
Keep in mind to backup your whole system if you enter TWRP 1st time, befor installing SuperSu. Suggesting befor install TWRP make backup with stock recovery!
Maybe a video i made on that 2nd rooting procedure is helpful to you?

Do a websearch: "unlock bootloader adb" example
It is basicly same step as in ultimate MT6753 thread url = see me 1st reply
You just need fastboot.exe and your Cheetah running as adb device to install TWRP.
Make sure you got it installed Cheetah via ADB driver not as MTP device or else!
TWRP is same on cheetah 1 & 2 not 100% sure, maybe ask megathebest .
Alternative method:
adb.exe to unlock and
Sp flashtool with vCOM-driver installed
https://androidmtk.com/flash-stock-rom-using-smart-phone-flash-tool
https://androidmtk.com/install-android-cdc-driver-manually
Some links for you but you don´t need those files at the moment:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Another method to install TWRP is via update.zip but if you have to unlock oem via adb (minimal adb fastboot.exe) why manuel flash it.
How:
Rename twrp.zip to XXX-stock-rom name-XXX.zip place it at you internal memory boot into fastboot by power and volume button.
Ya, there are loads of tutorial on the internet about TWRP 3.1.1 For Cheetah 2 which means root is possible for the device running the latest Android OS.
Here is a guide which has shared the latest TWRP 3.1.1 with rooting guide

Is there any way to cancel the flashing task or reboot the twrp? Any help would highly appreciated.

Your TWRP version's is super old , you should update it .
But exit this situation is a problem , it seem that the only solution is a forced reboot to bootloader (by pressing vol down + power button until the phone restarts in bootloader mode) .
I'm not sure at all of this solution , so I can't be responsible for what will happen to your phone.
Then reflash LOS ( if it worked the first time , it may work 2nd time ) with the SU Add-on to root your device .
Then , boot your device , download the TWRP companion app , and download the right and up to date recovery image for your device.
Since your rooted your device , you'll be able to flash the recovery image via the TWRP app .
Flash the recovery and with the app and reboot to recovery.
Finally flash your GApps .
Keep at mind that TWPR (your custom recovery) is the most important thing of your phone , that's what allows you to recover your phone even in critical situation .
So please , until now , keep it up to date
Good luck

Your TWRP version's is super old , you should update it .
But exit this situation is a problem , it seem that the only solution is a forced reboot to bootloader (by pressing vol down + power button until the phone restarts in bootloader mode) .

Hey RaiZ,
Thanks so much for looking into this!
Pressing vol down + power button solved the issue and the OS started perfectly fine. I've updated TWRP as well just like you mentioned, however, I'm having trouble getting the device rooted. I've downloaded the latest SU Add-on from this page: download.lineageos.org/extras and installed LOS with the addon. It did not work.
Then I've decided to switch to Ressurection OS 8.1 which comes with Magisk root inbuilt, yet that did not work either. Access to root was only showing root access for ADB which did not work ("adb shell su" command outputed "su: not found")
Lastly, I've installed latest version of SU-addon for RR OS. Now I'm getting root access options for apps and ADB, but selecting "Manage root access" outputs no applications for root access, "root checker" app still cannot verify root and adb shell su command returns "Permission denied".
Do you have any suggestions what might be wrong?

Personally , I don't really know a lot about Resurrection Remix , but assuming that it work the same as LOS , you should go to the developer option and see what you got.
If you still got op only 2 option after flashing the add-on , I will advice you to flash Magisk on your device to root it

I can no longer boot after flashing the de-rooted original ROM with TWRP

Hello,
A long time ago my brother has done something more stupid – had made root in Sony Xperia Z2 with TWRP, using the latest version of Sirius. As he has bought his new mobile phone, he has given me his old mobile phone, but he was not interested in formatting, de-rooting or fixing the bug of AudioFX, then I decided to work on my own. I made a lot of researches about how to fix the bug of AudioFX, so no luck.
As I wanted to de-root, I had to use my friend and sister's computers with Windows, using Kingo Root, because I am a Linux user, but no luck.
Then I downloaded the original and de-rooted image from TWRP, booted into TWRP mode, and flashed that image into Recovery. After, I could not boot any more. I tried to press power and Volume - and Volume +, but I could not boot either. I plugged the mobile phone into my laptop with Linux, but it was not recognised.
I read the following topics of XDA Developers, trying to train myself, but no luck:
1. Problem with TWRP 3.0.2 and encryption to solve boot loop
2.. [Q] Flashtool tool failed after amss_fsg.sin, can't flash phone
3. Downgrade to KitKat?
4. Unknown firmware, no boot, I can't flash
5. I can not flash!
6. Boot loop after flashing any ROM
7. To flash the recover Rebooting into TWRP recovery ... adb is not recognized

Sounds like you just soft bricked your device. ?
As far as i know it's easily fixable.
I might be able to help you out with few more info. ✌
Was it a 3G one or a LTE one ?
What rom were you on ?
A custom one or stock one ?
And what exactly do you want to achieve ? A stock rom with no root ? ?

An original ROM without root. I know a de-rooted and rooted Android 7 and 8 cause AudioFX bugs.
Can You still boot into twrp ?
If so did you try flashing a stock rom via a zip ?
Or you can use the fastboot but i won't be much of a help unless you have a windows pc ,i'm not familiar with Linux ?

As I can not boot into TWRP, it is impossible to use FastBoot, using Windows. I did it once.

Did you install the fastboot unsigned drivers as + ADB ?
Whole process should be something like this
Disable windows driver signature enforcement.

Restart your pc or laptop.
Install ADB.
https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B0MKgCbUM0itSUhpUklCTFpzWkE&authuser=0
Install flashtool-0.9.18.6 with all the drivers.
(For some reason this is the most compatible one for Xperia Z2)
Then try flash twrp recovery using the flashtool. ✌
