I m a bit confused in unlocking my bootloader . Does unlocking bootloader voids the warranty or it remains . I want to get rid of this stock rom. Let me know if you have any idea regarding this
No. Unlocking Bootloader Would Not Void The Warranty Of Redmi Note 4.
No. it's completely safe to root and flash custom rom.
Thanx bro

Hey guys I'm asking on behalf of my gf (i have htc sensation xe, so i'm not using lame excuses ) Her phone is not rooted (yet ) and I'm wondering whether is possible to unroot the atrix 4g so that it goes back to "brand new"/out of the factory status and there are no warranty problems related to the rooting.
Also: is it possible to flash a custom rom without unlocking the bootloader (so that warranty is not voided)? And does going s-off void the warranty as well?
Thanks in advance for the support!

I seem to recall that it is possible to unroot your phone (but you'll have to look around here), when you do unlock the bootload an 'unlocked' appears on the left hand screen when the rom is loading.
Anyways, see how you go with reading the above guides
There is no way to flash a custom ROM without custom recovery, which needs an unlocked BL.
S-OFF does not exist on the Atrix.
Does anyone know if root, unlocked Bootloader or custom rom void the warranty?
Hey guys :highfive:
Does rooting, flashing custom recovery, custom kernel, editing build prop and what not void the warranty on the Indian Version Snapdragon 650??
If it does then can unrooting and claiming the warranty possibly work??
Thank you..
Waiting for response :fingers-crossed:
Rooting does not voids warranty, flashing custom ROMs *probably* do. In any case, you can flash MIUI back and claim warranty.
Although we all read the disclaimer ("Your warranty is now void [...]") everywhere, is this really true?
Suppose I unlocked my bootloader, flashed some custom ROMs, but then decided I needed my warranty - couldn't I just return to stock and relock the bootloader?
Could they still find out and how?
This is only a general question, I'm not in urgent need for help.
Hi im on pixel experience 12 plus right now . If i flash miui 13 stock with fastboot is there a way to notice what i did before with the phone ?
In here theres no xiaomi service center but the garranty company here is just a reseller.
Dont know if i could clearify my point but i want to know can they notice i was playing with device roms and stuff?

I think if you relock Bootloader (through Mi Flash), not
Except that Xiaomi can track that you had requested BL unlocking
But I don't know if just unlocking BL voids the warranty
