No wifi, no bluetooth - LeEco Le Max 2 Questions & Answers

Hello.
I have a great issue at my new device.
Nor Wifi neither bluetooth can be activated.
I made firmware actualization, ROM changes, etc., but still does not work.
I heard this is a common problem, but i do not find any solution.
I would appreciate any help.
Thanks.

Hello, first of all try to erase EFS - flash this zip by twrp.
If it does not help, that try flash any ROM by fastboot. (For example cuco fastboot version).
Also update modem to v50
If this steps does not help u, 99,9% that u have hardware problem.

Thanks Andr68rus for the sharing.
My X820 (acquired 2nd hand knowing it's wifi and BT are not working) is facing a similar issue and had fastboot-flashed Cuoco Fastboot version yet it is not resolved. I also flashed a few other ROMs including Android 7 and 10 and 11 but no luck.
Would appreciate if you could reshare the "this zip" as well as the "v50" modem file for a try.

Greetings!
I'm facing this weird problem that some people seem to have as well. The device is recognizing my SIM card, but there's no network connectivity. I cannot connect to WiFi and it's showing this ridiculous MAC address. Bluetooth can be enabled, but other devices can't see it, so it's malfunctioning as well.
I have this problem on many official ROMs. Bootlocker is locked.
I'm currently on Lineage OS. Installing it set my IMEI to 0, but I restored it with IMEI Changer (WriteDualIMEI(W+G_eMMC).exe).
Should I unlock the bootloader and flash modem NON-HLOS.bin, to attempt to restore network connectivity?
Have you check imei ???
if you have twrp alka backup then restore it.

Thanks for replying. My IMEI is fine, as I mentioned in the first post. I don't have any backups, since I've just installed TWRP earlier today.

Then flash latest miui mm dev via edl flash all unlock official

I tried multiple official roms, both dev and stable, Lollipop and Marshmallow. It's not a Lineage problem. I cannot unlock the bootloader officially, as I get stuck at 50% when it's trying to verify my device. I cannot log in to my MIUI account as there's no way for me to connect to the Internet.

Use download miui 8 6.11.3 fastboot ROM
Then flashing via edl just replace recovery IMG of stock to zcx after seeing operation completed successful
Then force reboot recovery
Then backup current ROM then factory reset + wipe system flash aosp 5.1.1 by Mr coldbird
Then reboot
Then chectout wifi ac and other stuff
Otherwise use this guide to unlock unofficially

Did anyone consider that hardware module for wifi &* bt is broken?
Check your phone box. The problem seems that your hardwares aren't detected right which need to be manually fixed by changing the Bluetooth and WiFi MAC Address. You can find the original hardware address on the box. And do some research on the Internet that works for your phone

I had the same problem like you and yet can't get back to OOS 3.1.4
That's why I am staying on OOS 2.2.3 forever ... well until I can find a fix...
If you really only need persist.img you can find it in the Mega Unbrick Guides Files although I think this one only works with OOS 2.2.3
Here's the persist.img file from my last nandroid backup. Latest bootloader and all that. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B3KASUh3N9vVbXphYWRGS2xjNVk
It's not an IMG file but you should be able to put it in a TWRP folder and "restore" it.
Actually i solved my problm in same way.. accidently found persist.img in onplus mini tool and everything went smooth..now no issues in any rom.

Well instead of using the Yureka persist.img I am supposed to use the persist.img from the Unbrick Guide, right?
Obviously we have to use files specific fr our device..so download unbrick mini tool package..use that persist.img and flash according to guide mentioned over there....

I've had this sensors problem in my redmi note 4 device, i flashed the fix & it solved all but created a new problem, i can't go back to stock rom.
The "persist.img" file in this fix belongs to someone else RN4 phone. Now I'm stuck with his mi account in my device. It needs his password to unlock. Ur only option is to use custom roms
You can find the persist.img file inside the fastboot zip from here.
It isn't flashed by default with Mi Flash but it's there.

Persist.img file comes with fastboot zip is around 5mb, but actual file size is more than 32mb, i flashed manually the smaller one and phone doesn't boot, keeps restarting in boot logo. I had to flash this sensor fix again to unbrick.

OK bro thanks and what if I flash the persist.IMG from the fastboot rom and not from some others mobile??
Persist.img file in fastboot rom is low in size, below 5mb, if you flash it, you get bootloop. Actual size around 32mb. U can see it in the fix file.
The partition on the phone is 32 MB. If the persist.img file is only 5 MB it could mean that the data inside the partition is only 5 MB, it doesn't have to be 32 MB.
Take the recovery partition for example, it's bigger than the size of the TWRP .img file, but it doesn't mean that TWRP file is corrupted.
However, to flash persist partition you need the unlocked bootloader and a modified fastboot.exe version that can restart the phone in EDL mode, and from there you can flash every partition with MiFlash.
Of course, data size of Persist.img partition maybe only 5mb, but after flashing the that comes with fastboot rom, all i got is an infinite bootloop. Even miflash doesn't flash this partition, I've seen it in miflash log file.
I tried to flash the persist image, but it simply refuse to do it, even with MiFlash (you can enable the flashing of persist.img by modifying the .bat file that MiFlash will use to flash).
As I write on my post above, to flash persist.img you need to be in EDL mode, but I didn't tried it personally, so I don't know if it will cause bootloop even this way (but I read of people resolving problems this way, so I don't think it will do harm).

LeEco Le Max 2 (x821) No Network problem

I have a new X821 and I am experiencing the following problem.
I setup the phone as soon I got it in my hands and the SIM card is recognized but it is unable to connect to the carrier network.
As a result no phone calls and no data.
Next step was to flash TWRP and flash Lineage OS ROM but the problems still exists.
Can anyone please help me. I am really excited to have this phone but I am disappointed that i cannot use it.
Any ideas?

Heyyo @lakis3 , can you please elaborate?
What country and network?
Have you also tried flashing updated device firmware?
Have you by chance also tried EUI ROM 19s or 21s for x821?
If those do not work? I would then recommend attempting a QFIL as there could be a serious problem with the modem and flashing QFIL would help diagnose if the problem is indeed software or if it is a hardware issue...
This would be the recommended QFIL guide

Ok so no I've got QFIL but when I try to flash the 19s (through update in recovery) it says file corrupt. What do you think I should do
(thank you for everything so far!!!)
Heyyo, so if I understand correctly, you were able to QFIL yeah?
EUI ROM recovery won't flash 19s via that update.zip thing, you'll need to use TWRP to wipe everything and then format data on your data partition and then reboot to twrp and then copy 19s to your device and flash and reboot.
Also, you're welcome hehe just glad to help a fellow LeEco community member. :good:

should I use a particular version of TWRP or anything?
@7h30 if you want to play it safe? TWRP official 3.1.0-0 was built for marshmallow, so that one will work fine. Otherwise? Latest official TWRP 3.3.1-0 will work fine too albeit it might pop up an error for missing vendor partition but that can be ignored as vendor partition only gets created with treble custom ROMs.

I ran into a problem, after I wiped everything and formatted, my pc won't allow me to copy things to my phone(adb still sees it). Should I adb sideload the 19s?
@7h30 yeah adb sideload is fine. If that won't work? you can also use adb push like this
Code:
adb push euirom.zip sdcard/
Also, sometimes Windows messes up the MTP drivers for our device. You can always check device manager and ensure "standard MTP USB driver" is being used for it.

I need litlle help to reinstall my os

Hello guys,
Before all, thanks to take the time to read and (maybe) help me.
I think I erase my OS with TWRP. When i try to reboot system (from twrp) he say no os detected (on a and b slots).
I see other post with this prblm but i want to be sure to do right things (this time).
If i understand i can flash stock rom to patch this problem, that's right ?
But my laptop don't want let miflash run (idk why).
I try to install with twrp but he say me error 4
And I try with fastboot and script of official website of xiaomi (en.miui) but he say me that the rom and my phone are incompatible. I download the rom of xiaomi mi a3 so i don't understand (the only rom on the site for xiaomi a3).
For all i was on active slot a
What can i say who can help u more ?
1. This problem can be solved or my phone is just brick ?
2. Where can I found compatible rom if is the right way to solve this prblm ? And how i know what is the right rom for me ?
Thanks a lot if u take the time to read another noob
I have another question : If I install another rom, like lineage OS, can i reboot into her ?
Try install another rom through twrp then
Another prblm come :/
I can't launch twrp, idk what do now. Someone got an idea ?
Sapper Morton said:
It's simple enough, you just need to check your boot state in each slot, and if none of them are bootable, you will have to flash a new system.img, using Fastboot for example.
