Hey guys, this is my first Magisk module which I created seeing the recent development on the Modded Google Camera which is going on.
This modules is specifically designed for the OnePlus 3T and 5. It replaces the media_profiles.xml located at /system/etc/ to enable the HEVC (High Efficiency Video Codec). This results in increased quality due to the newer codec at the same bitrate which was being used with H264.
This module also enables 60fps video recording in Google Camera on OnePlus 3T/5 and also fixes slow motion crash on Google Camera which enables you edit SloMo videos (with sound) made with Google Camera in Google Photos and change the part where you need SloMo and where you need real-time just like iPhones.

You can try and if it fails just uninstall the module from recovery using Magisk Module Uninstaller
PS- that's the point of having Magisk you don't need a reverse zip it's all systemless.

It is tested only on OOS but theoretically, should work on other ROMs too.

But I do have one question. For the 60fps in video mode, does it automatically appear as option on top of the camera. Or do I need to do any configuration. Cause my screen don't have the option. =(

Well thanks for porting a new ROM. Anyways the ROM looks awesome as hell. I love dark themes and this ROM is prebuilt with a dark theme. The Xperia launcher is good too.
Anyways,the bugs mentioned is not actually a bug!It can be easily fixed with a few steps:-
1.To fix Hexagon customization automatic close, enable root
2.For other bugs like camera and browser,other browsers and camera app will fix it.
So overall,it's a stable ROM.

Did you tested the ROM? I wanna try if basic calling and camera works fine. How about battery life? (Not expecting a lot though.)

Sim1 works (I'm a single sim user,dunno about second sim)
For camera flash the cam fix for cm13 ROMs
About battery life, its average(In kernel adiutor,all cores shows running at 1190Mhz unless you manually adjust it)

I set it to 998Mhz and enabled multicore power saving to aggressive and set governor to ondemand. Basically I use this phone only for communication purposes and listening music.

To make the camera work you must extract the file system.new.dat.br so as to replace the lib files and correct the build.prop

The build.prop is from j5 2016 and i extracted camera files from lineage 16 and pasted them with root explorer but that didn't work (sorry for bad english)

Hi, flashed the ROM to my J510FQ with OC Hotplug Kernel & Gapps Pico.
Seems to work fast and smooth without any lags and crashes so far. Most probably this ROM will be the first choice for Pie for our J5. Congratulations and thanks to the developers and Francisco Funes.. But there are two important points: The camera really doesn't work i.e. neither the ROM's stock nor the Open Camera or Footej etc.. As stated it is a system problem. Secondly, @francisco Funes, please share the link for the OC Hotplug Kernel if you want more people to test the ROM since it is hard to find it for novice users.. Other issues I came across uptill now or already well known: - No VoLTE (just for anyone not to ask for it), the track duration on music players does not progress (really minor but why can't be solved since Oreo..), charging current info can't be read, no weather service settings which was also broken in ViperOS Oreo (minor also).. I hope the camera can be fixed soon so that the ROM can be used daily. Thanks again for the great work..

The problem is with your Rom, just wait for developers to make the Moto Camera 2 more compatible with Custom Rom.

Cannot select SDcard as save location on 20200122 build. Insta-reverts back to 'phone' without asking for sdcard access.

Hello, I am using this MOD on moto x4 Lineageos 17.1 (Android 10) from May 29, 2020, it seems to me that everything works very well except that I cannot record the audio, the videos are without sound

I am using the moto camera 2 from this thread. First: Thank you very much for providing and updating this mod!
Second: For me everything seems to work except when I start the app, it says :"Hardware version does not support Portrait mode" and I don't have the portrait mode with the nice bokeh effect available. This worked for me under LOS 16 (from January 2020) with the standard moto camera 2 app from the play store / aurora store but not anymore on my now current LOS 17.1.
Any ideas whet could be the problem and what could be done?

Guys, This is a ROM problem, the MOD works perfectly in Pixel Experience.

If i use the zip, i have to reinstall it after every LOS update? When yes, why not provide as an usual apk, that is survive updates as usual?

I am also curious about this. I installed Moto Camera 2 from the Play Store, and it seems to be running just fine on Pixel Experience. Perhaps this is just needed in certain ROMs?

[edit]- i just asked some users about this and they told me that it still happens some time not always. they found workaround by just disconnecting audio from zoom or meet and again connecting it. i hope that helps till i find permanent solution.

I am using it as daily driver. Battery backup is also good. Check screenshot for 100 to 50% battery backup.

Yes . Will try to fix every bug
Does 90Hz works with all apps? It was the reason why I switched to LineageOS, because RealmeUI wouldn't let me use 90Hz everywhere (in Kiwi Browser for exemple).
If it does, I might test it, since I've always wanted to test OxygenOS because of all the people saying that it's great.
Oxygen os is love .. id like to test it oncr the FOD issue is resolved.

After flashing it as per instructions, i got stuck into bootloop , my device just rebooted to fastboot mode only and it showed error:255 while flashing OSS_fixes_for_RMX1931_only.zip.

Oos_fixes_for_RMX1931EX_11_C.29.zip should be flashed in magisk not in twrp. Did you formatted data by typing " yes " in twrp?

In this update I have not added option for 90hz everywhere(force 90hz) But I have noted your requirement and I will add it for sure in next build. Thanks for asking [emoji4]
I followed all instructions but when i reboot the device it returns on fastboot

Tried it with EvolutionX. It's working well so far. I'm finally able to use the macro lens instead of the camera just zooming in, and video recording works fine right now, no problems so far. I tried using the anx configuration app from the play store but it doesn't work, though that's not really a downside. At first I saw some color banding, but turns out it's just the gallery app problem. I'll update if I find any problems.

GCAM records 1920x1080 60fps and 3840x2160 30fps videos on this phone with Magisk module ANX_RN10_addon.zip.
Ultra wide mode has some problem and when switching to it it says camera error , can't connect to camera, please note this as a bug and tell me what more info you want from me, thanks , I'm using redmi note 10 with pixel experience plus custom ROM and magisk. Thanks in advance.

And the portrait mode uses the ultrawide or macro camera i think because as seeing the camera quality it confirms

That's would be nice sometimes it's rom issue ... use 185R or latest one and try.
Besides I didn't made the mod since I mentioned the credits on my op I've just share and support it

I tried but this doesn't work at all , zoom simply doesn't work, no special camera modes like vlog, 48MP, SLOW-MO, etc. But anyways thanks

So, It's seems rom issue not ANX because both versions 190R & 185R works fine on mine "PixelPlusUi & Project Lighthouse". sorry for that's bad experience that you had and thanks for being helpful.
