Hello everyone,
I am new to xda and also started working with the android research some months ago, i used to work with linux and IT secirity(enthusiasm) but haven't been intouch with from a long time, now thought to have kali in pocket, so now i have proceeded from TWRP to nethunter chroot, but stuck with the nh_terminal, the no title problem, i searched a lot about it, tried the new installers creating symlinks to /system/bin etc, but still no success, moreover my device is qmobile noir x35(rooted,TWRP,backedup), kernel v3.4.67, oh and the roms that i tried were official .zip from offensivesecurity( nexus4 n oneplus one). Can someone help me with this , or may be show another way which might work. Thanks

Hey people,
I have a big problem and I am a big noob what contains to software, hardware is my thing.
Lets get straight to the point......
I have rooted my device(Kingzone K2) with Kingroot on Android lolipop 5.1.
the first time i tried to root it would not work because my phone had a unknown version of android or something like that, so i reported that to kingroot and a month later they made it possible to root on my device.
now I have rooted my device but I started up my phone and all of a sudden my phone was reset to factory setting.
I thought it would have been a accident with android devicemanager.
And up following I wanted to download apps and stuff but it gave me the error that Android.procces.media was stopped.
And the apps wont download I tried everything to download them, also camera and gallery wont work for the same reason.
So can someone please help me with this problem.......
Thanks.
Hello everyone.
My girlfriend had been having problems with the installation of Whatsapp since a couple days ago. It told her that it needed to be re-installed, and doing so wouldn't help.
After trying with resetting the phone to factory defaults to no avail, I decided trying to install a custom mod for the phone but I couldn't find any reliable one. I tried with one called MoKee with which not even the home key worked and then I looked for a stock version and found an alleged one in a ad-ridden page. It's supposed to be installed using something called SP Flash Tools, which seems to be made by a chinese company or group, but the image wouldn't flash to the phone because it encountered a 'CHIP Error'.
So far, the only image that seems to be working is one that I found in another unreliable web-page. It is a MIUI distribution supposedly made for this phone, but it won't detect the SIM card in any of the two slots the phone has and it seems like it can't even find the IMEI in either of the two chips I suppose it has for handling the SIM cards, because it keeps popping a message that says something along the lines of "Invalid IMEI".
I'm desperate.
Is it possible to install the necessary drivers for the SIM card chipset on the phone, or do you know about some repository where I could find the stock firmware for it?
Right now, I'd just want the phone to be in operable conditions, Whatsapp issues aside.
For reference, the model on the back of the phone just says "iris 870", and this is the name of the MIUI distribution I downloaded: "Miui_8_For_Lava_iris_870_[wwwromclaimscom].zip"
I hope someone can help me with this. Thanks in advance.
P.S. I posted this also on the newbie-friendly section, sorry for the duplicate post.
Hello @All,
i have been reading about two days in a hardcore manner, how do i get to solve my originn problem with my moto g5.
Two days ago i discovered a major problem with this hardware, cause i put a wifi-ap down. As this wifi-AP was down, moto g5 could not connect to other wifi-spot in the house i am living in. It was all time going connect, disconnect etc. It was not stable.
Therefore i try to get an update for my hw, as it was N7. Right now it has NPP25.137-93.
Cause of this problem above, i try to get i root it and also try to install trwp. Before this steps, i inlocked my device.
I could unlock, install twrp_cedric_3.1.1-0.zip an root it succesfully.
But ...
No way Jose to install any Custom ROM. In the meanwhile, i was near to bricked it down. I could solve this Problem with adb and _Moto G5 1st November 2017 update.zip ._
After this i could use my moto G5, but __still__ with wifi-problem, not possible to connect to wifi-cells near to me, if moto was connected them in the past. The device was still not able to a stable connection to wifi-cells, i had to clear all near known cells, till the last one (an USB Antenna on a linux-debian System).
I was a huge desparation to try to flash custom roms, like Oreo 8.0/8.1, LineageROMs too.
But i was prepared for it, a rooted system with twrp on it.
But __none__ of flashing a customROM was succesfull.
I tried:
lineage-14.1-20180817-UNOFFICIAL-cedric.zip
lineage-15.0-20171125_073252-UNOFFICIAL-cedric.zip
lineage-15.1-20180415-UNOFFICIAL-cedric.zip
CEDRIC_NPP25.137-33_cid50_subsidy-DEFAULT_regulatory-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip
I always get
"Updater process ended with ERROR:255
Error installing zip file '/sdcard/...zip"
Looking for a solution, i learned that twrp exist in 32 and also in 64bit. Is that right? Where do i find 64bit typ.
How do i solve this problem, what is going wrong?
There are a lot of succesfull stories to get Oreo installed on it.
My first try was with
PixelExperience_cxedric_8.1.0-20171211-1836.zip
=> no success.
Pls., do you have any advice for me?
How do i flash a custom rom __without__ this error?
Is there a chance to update my device from N7 to O8.0/8.1?
Right now i have this installed:
Magisk-v18.0.zip
MagiskManager-v6.1.0.apk
no-verity-opt-encrypt-5.1.zip
twrp_cedric_3.1.1-0.zip -> twrp-3.2.3-0-cedric.zip
cedric-user 7.0 NPP25.137-93 12 release-keysM8937_22.29.02.56R (=Moto G5 1st November 2017 update.zip)
(helped me, before bricked it down with adb.exe cmds.)
Thanks in advance.

Hello Guys,
So currently i installed a new lineage rom based on android 7.1.2 in my lg l fino phone just for doing rooting related things and i flashed with TWRP recovery. After the phone boots up the browser kind of do not works. It opens but there is a warning saying Webpage not available

Hi everybody, excuse me because i'm a newbie.
After many tries, i have been able to flash a new rom on my Galaxy J320FN (if uou are interested on the method and toos that i used :
Install Twrp 3.0.2 (the only one i have been able to download using Odin, all the other newer releases seemd good downloaded but in the reboot were replaced by original Samsung recovery).
After the install of Twrp i followed the procedure, cleaning data, cache and flashing Lineage OS214 and in a second moment the Gapps package.
The phone is much more better than with old Android 5.1 originally installed and everything works fine except the Wifi.
I can see all the ssids near to me but when i try to connect i can see that the devices makes many tries (i see Connecting) and after a while writes (Saved).
The tries continue and while the device says Connecting i see a toast message (Password may be incorrect) but the password is good because with the same password i connect with my notebook.
I have googled and i found someone that had my same simptoms after flashing Lineage Os214, in some cases one of them solved with some tips in developer section, in other cases , changing the Country in the advanced section of the wifi Menu, but noone of these solutions worked for me.
Is there someone that can help me to solve the problem ?
Another question, is Lineage Os14 the newer rom for my Galaxy SMJ320FN ?
Same here!
