I ordered mine in the store. Went by today to talk to them about it the supervisor said that even if he had stock he wasn't able to release it until the 15th. I asked him why would I ever order from him ever, if I have to wait till 15th and everyone else even BestBuy customers who ordered online, are getting them now. He just Shrugged.

Yes, online. I ordered the black one, and I live in East Texas. Shipped from Dallas. Still kinda shocked! I didn't expect anything this week. Ordered a case and screen protector separately, but at the same time, says they won't arrive till Friday. So a couple days naked with my fingers crossed nothing happens!
So what is the process like? Mine says "processing" which is the first dot of 4 on the visual timeline. What happens from there? When it goes to "preparing", what's the expected timer I'll wait from there before it's shipped?
Mine is scheduled for delivery tomorrow, coming from San Antonio. Trading in my LG G6 for the bigger screen, getting $480 for it.

Mine went from processing to preparing within an hour yesterday. Then I didn't check again till this morning when it said shipped. I tracked it thru UPS and it was picked up yesterday at 5:20 p. M. Was at my local hub at like 4 a. M., on a truck for delivery at 7:22 a. M. Still waiting for delivery now. My ups driver usually don't make it here till like 5ish.

My AMEX showed a charge yesterday at 1407. Went to preparing about an hour after that. Thought it would have shipped yesterday. Still as of right now shows preparing. If it doesn't ship today I'm calling to complain because they need to ship when they charge my account.

That's my understanding as well.
I ordered online with Radio Shack, and I have the same screen. I called them up, and they said they are not yet authorized to ship.

Amazon does show it back ordered on the Add To Cart screen, but when you're ready to pay for it the delivery date is June 28th. That's right on spot with their free 2-day shipping.

Most likely bank of america add it up cash back ($50). $180-$50 = 130.
You get $50 in 6-8 weeks if you order it through the add it up website. Wasn't worth the hassle and you can't switch the phone to a different line on your account for the 1st six months or you get charged like $350.

Called yesterday because I forgot my order number and found out the retards didn't submit my porting request for my phone number, so the order is now technically submitted on Sunday. No telling if it's now on backorder or not. However, the guy I was working with swears it wouldn't be as he checked on it.
If you purchased the phone through device upgrade, you can check the status by loging in to you at&t account. The link is on the right hand side of the "check eligibility" page. Not sure how the info will displayed for new customer.

Just checked it this way and it says backordered Going through Premier it just says processing.
Got mine today. Ordered 10 minutes before they stated the sale would "officially" start. Selected next day shipping
Mines shipped today with free over night shipping. Will be here by 3pm

Called "Premier" service. After the initial "we don't know", I asked a few other questions and got "I do apologize" about eight times. I started to ask about unlimited texting and requirements for discounts, etc., the lady just couldn't change gears away from the order. The thing that really baffles me is that the store next door to my office has a Titan. I can't just show them my order number and pick it up.
Whatever. It was a $.01. Just disappointed to not even have an eta. I want to sell the wife's iPhone, blow out my focus and set it up for her. I'm going to be busy this weekend, so even if I get the phone, I may have to wait another few days.
Ordered as an upgrade on 11/26. Shipped on 11/28.

Was playing Battlefield 3 Friday night and almost forgot about the sale. So at 2am I got on Premier and ordered a second line for a penney on a 1 year contract I am in Plano, TX area and phone is coming from Ft Worth. They should have sent it today but it was free two business days so will be tomorrow.
Will give Focus to friend and put my old Razr on the new number so I can remove the data plan. So basically 10 a month for one year. Nice they even credited the penny.

So I ordered over the phone around 8am MT on Saturday, and received my "shipped" notification late Monday. Guess I got in before the backorders started!
I'll say this, though: the USPS tracking doesn't update NEARLY fast enough.

I ordered mine over the phone Saturday and got it today. Expected date was tomorrow, but it got here a day early... And it is huge compared to my Radar and even my HD7. It's big next to my RAZR, too... I love it. Can't wait to get some custom ROMs to add more colors to the themes!

Figured that was the case. I don't think anywhere has them at all...so not surprising they are not an exception. Thanks for looking into it though. I've heard other places say that end of January is when they will come in (but they may know nothing), but here's hoping.
I just got an email back from Matt at CostCaptain. He said they have 50 due in next week, but they are a hot item, so they won't be in stock for long. I put a preorder in for one. We'll see who wins, Abes of Maine or CC! ;-)

I had a 64gb prime on order, but they sent me a cancellation email a week ago. Received that refund today, still waiting on the refund for the dock order I canceled last Tuesday (found one at both hhgregg and office depot)

Upgraded my 15gig family plan to 20 gig with no price increase. And added 100 dollars off for each phone i bought in the near future. I plan to get my son a phone in the next couple of months and my wife iPhone in September.

Ordered from best buy, too (black onyx). Got my watch, and really like it. Already learned how to design my own watch faces. Keep an eye out for an at&t promo that i got about 1 1/2 years ago. It is 30GB for the price of 15GB. It's bound to show up again. Probably around Christmas.
i ordered on samsung.com .. i called and got the most depress customer service agent ever from the sound of his voice.
i was told it would ship on the 19th... owell..
I talked to an AT&T rep today and he assured me that my order has been processed and will be shipped either 8/16 or 8/17. He verified that my order was not on back order either. He did say that if there is a problem they will hold one for me at my local store on launch day since my order was guaranteed. I'm also a premier business customer, maybe that's why I was promised one either way.

I just spoke with a Premier biz rep and she confirmed my order is shipping today and that I'll have a email by the end of the day. She said everyone that calls the order status line is getting a back ordered msg by default. If in doubt just ring up support and speak to an agent.

I also can confirm that my preorder of Black Onyx from 8/3 has finally changed to shipped on the order status page within the last half hour. FedEx overnight TX to STL MO delivery by 8pm on 8-18-16.
Placed my order in store on Aug. 8. Finally shows shipped via UPS as of an hour ago. Arrival on Friday.

I can verify that as well. Online it showed "preparing to ship", but when I checked using *6737# it said "backordered". Just received my shipping info about an hour ago for a delivery on Friday through UPS.
Is Bestbuy getting any love??

Online at Samsung mine shows the same as yours, but I got an email from Samsung this morning with a Tracking number

So they spent a whopping 3 days and they can't even get it to arrive on everyone's doorsteps by the 19th. Amazon's warehouse is literally beside them dealing with millions of products and customers on a daily basis can get my microSD card and spigen note 7 case ordered Monday, shipped on Tuesday, and arrive on Wednesday with FREE NON-Prime shipping.
Here, I pay $7 for the sake of saving 2 hours driving there and back, plus gas, possible disappointment of no stock after 5pm on release day, and they can't even handle 3000ish online orders. It's 7PM, don't even tell me that they've all gone off work early and leave this for Monday

From the "Order Status & Shopping History" screen your Order # should be clickable
Clicking that takes me to "Order Status Detail"
Which has a Shipping Status of: Shipped <Tracking number>

Hmm. Strange. My order number is not clickable. Guess I'll have to wait. Thank you for helping.
Hey guys... so I got a little frustrated with Tech Data and my order. Called the toll free # and waited 30 min to be told my order is still being processed. Long story short I cancelled and requested a refund. Managed to score a black one at Sherway and got the $200 off using my original Galaxy. Yeah I lose out in the Gear 2.... Big deal.
Hope you guys get your phones soon !

It doesn't work on mobile site. You need to be on desktop version of website.
Mine from Costco says shipped and ups tracking showing delivery next Friday. Still better than Samsung store I guess.

Yeah through that number, but no confirmation email yet. Going to call back on Monday to confirm.
Got my titanium yesterday..quite enjoying
I called the toll free number where they confirmed my order and said they haven't shipped my phone yet. They plan to do it next week. So much for pre order!

Woot, just got off the phone with them. (Its 5pm est on sunday) and they confirmed to me that the order has shipped and also gave me a tracking number
I got the coral blue version #2034 from the samsung website

PS. for those wondering, the shipping information on the shop.samsung.com/ca is still empty and they have not sent me a confirmation email.
PPS. the shipping date was on the 19th with estimated delivery on the 22nd (i live in toronto)
