On TWRP you click on INSTALL, at below click image and after you can view the .IMG files on twrp to flash, select the recovery.IMG and between BOOT/RECOVERY option you should choose RECOVERY, confirm and flash it
Please help me get back TWRP on my device! I had to get Lineage Recovery to upgrade LOS from 16 to 18.1. But Lineage Recovery only allows OS updates and nothing else. Now TWRP comes in an .img format wich can not be opened in the OS, only installed in recovery mode. But not in Lineage Recovery! I can't sidelode it with Odin becouse that uses .tar.gz format and this is .img.
install this twrp, with odin, after install the last twrp.img, from twrp
8.75 MB file on MEGA
mega.nz
Thank you. I could even find a newer version, but I still couldn't use it: Heimdall suit only uses tar.gz files, and Odin doesn't detect my device. Maybe I will try it on a different computer.

Hello is it work for samsung Sm-G361H???
Sent from my SM-G361H using Tapatalk
I installed TWRP 3.0 on my AT&T LGOG e970 using Flashify and so far no problems. I did a back up. I haven't done a restore yet or an install. It looks to be very nice, I only wish there was something to install, like a rom or kernel.
unable to install e970 rom with it
Hello Alijosekt,
as @guyton100 stated above, when trying to install the latest Nitrogen MM ROM compiled for geeb, it errors out stating that the device is "geehrc" and therefore it is not compatible with the the geeb zip. Also, I tried to restore by backup afterwards with this TWRP 3.0.0 build and the device just hangs after reboot. After flashing TWRP 2.8.6.0 back and then doing another restore, everything worked as usual.
I hope that helps... Let me know if I can do any testing or help out any other way. Thank you for not abandoning the geeb... My wife and I are hoping to get another year, maybe two with our E970's; as it's still a decent device for everything besides heavy games
After reading customcarvin's comment I switched back to 2.8.6.0

@TecnoTailsPlays
Cute! I made a nice little flashable zip that'll do the fastboot operations for you.
Boot to TWRP [MiRecovery compatible but not tested] and flash the zip file
If you need to make another flashable zip, replace the splash.img inside the zip with a new one. Make sure your compression is set to 'Store'. Otherwise it may cause issues.

I dont remember, but i think the stock recovery is already included in the fastboot rom, but if you flash it and then you don't see the stock recovery you can flash it with this tool
Had a little bit of boredom and made a MOD for the theme of Custom Splash Screen. This MOD should also work for S8 and Note8. You can change now pictures without to modify and flash the bootloader (up_param.bin).
Important: The MOD only works with Exynos-8895-based devices!
Neither I nor XDA is responsible for any damage to your device. You're flashing at your own risk!
Before you start, make a Nandroid (backup) of your system. Safe is safe!

How to Flash
Place the zip on the internal/external memory.
boots into Recovery
then click on "install" in the TWRP
searches for the folder where the zip file was placed
and flashes it by clicking on the zip and dragging the slider to the right at the TWRP
rebooting
How do I change the boot logo in the template?
open the exynos8895_logochanger zip (with WinRar or 7zip) and replace the logo. jpg with another image of your choice
the new image must be renamed to logo. jpg again. Otherwise it won't work!
How to return to the Stock logo?
You don't like the custom logos anymore?
then just flash the zip appropriate for your device:
exynos8895_logochanger_Stock_S8 (for Galaxy S8)
exynos8895_logochanger_Stock_S8+ (for Galaxy S8+)
exynos8895_logochanger_Stock_Note8 (for Galaxy Note8)
Troubleshooting
If your hanging in a bootloop without access to twrp, please reflash the bootloader via odin. TWRP and system boots up again.
Note:
Not all images work, the best results are achieved if you just edit the stock image.
