Hii.
I am using redmi note 4 sd marshmallow. I have root and twrp installed.
I was trying to update a game that i have restored via titanium backup after reverting back to stock miui, but i couldn't update because the game folder which is placed in Android/obb is not writable.when i unistalled the game i noticed that the folder is still there.then i came to know about it.i also tried to create a folder in Android/obb/. It works. But the problem is only with that particular game folder located in Android/obb/gamefolder. I couldn't delete nor create a folder in it.i couldn't change permission cuzz there is no option in file manager. Default file manager shows it as readable and writable but it is not. Please help me to fix it.
Thank you.

I downloaded the new Stage UI from another thread. I shoved it onto my SD and attempted to just replace the current stage UI apks but it gave me "application not installed"
I deleted the Stage UI files in titanium backup and made sure they were gone in the system app folder. I rebooted and attempted to re-install from the SD card but the phone still acts like the files are there (gives me are you sure youwant to replace the application?)
I then just moved all the files into system>app with root explorer and rebooted. still nothing.
Anyway around this?
Have you tried copying the new files to the correct locations and setting the permissions (check to see what the other apps have)? Make sure you have a backup before messing with the files.
Hi!
I was wondering why I can't delete or do anything with the obb folder?
I'm running hyperdrive with the modified stock kernel.
Thank you,

If you're rooted you can change its permissions and then delete it. Use root exploreror other file manager app
Hi, Everyone
I was attempting to make a new backup of my HTC one using TWRP. For some odd reason, I can't find the file when I browse my phone SD. The TRWP folder has the old backup, but when I attempt to do a restore I can see the new files. I tried using the ES explorer app to find the missing backup files but nothing. I know for a fact that these files are stored somewhere and they are taking space on my HTC. Can I restored to an early restore and it will delete these files?
I'm new to the Android scene and still learning. Any suggestions will be gladly appreciated.
Thanks.

Nevermind, I found the solution. The problem is that the ES file explorer does not have root access to /data folder. I enable root access in ES file and there was the following folder: /data/media/twrp.
I was able to make a new folder in the /SD and copy the files to that location. Then I deleted the folder.

Hello there!
I rooted my OP5T and now I have a problem...
I installed latest magisk.
I can't see any files in file manager on my phone, also can not transfer or view files via my computer.
I just see phone in 'my computer' but nothing is in this folder and I can't drag files into this folder.
On phone in file manager I can see folder "Android" and then "data" and then a few folders but I don't see anything in these folders... I can't create and delete anything by clicking add folder or delete something but installing apps from google play works.
I tried to send the file via 'airdroid' and there is no folder on my phone visible either.
Can anyone help me out with this problem? I tried wipe dalvik but same.
Re-flash Stock ROM.
