Try signing out and then back into your google account. If that doesn't work, clear the cache in the app in settings/app/googl play store/storage

did as asked , still wont work :/
When you flashed the stock rom did you flash the stock tar.md5 with odin? Other things to try are clearing data in google play store, clearing data and cache in Google play services. Are you using a VPN and is data/time set to manual? Try disabling the vpn

My device:
I have an iDeaUSA YG A777 Android Tablet that is rooted. The version of Android it is running is 4.0.3.
My problem:
I updated the YouTube app from Google Play Store a few days ago. After it was updated, I tried to open it, but a message popped up saying that I needed to install Google Play Services and linked me to the app's Play Store page. Google Play Services downloads fine, but during the installation process, an error message pops up, saying:
"Incompatible with other applications(s) using the same shared user ID."
I don't have a custom ROM or a custom kernel; they're both stock.

- Try reboot?
- If nothing's working maybe have to try factory reset and sign-in again to your Google account.

Yep, I tried that. I did a factory reset and tried installing Google Play Services before any other apps, but no luck.

I tried wiping both the cache partition and the dalvik partition, but it didn't work.
The only two versions of Google Play Store that I've had on my tablet is the one that came with my stock ROM (I don't remember which version that was) and now the most current version of Play Store (3.10.10). Back when I had the stock version, I tried installing Google Play Services, but no luck. Obviously, I'm still having the same problem with the current version.
You could try mine play store/vendin.apk from here: http://www.androidworld.nl/forum/to...ent-7-rootedstock-rom-updated-17-11-12-a.html
Unpack *V2 rooted stock rom.

From what I can tell through Google translator (I don't speak Dutch), this is a page to download and install a custom ROM. I'm more looking for a way to fix my problem without having to get rid of my current stock ROM.
Thank you anyway, [email protected].

Then, if I'm not mistaken, it is a stock ROM for Tom-Tec tablets. In other words, it probably won't work, at least not properly, on my iDeaUSA YG A777 tablet. I would need a ROM, stock or custom, designed for my tablet if I'm to be able to replace my current stock ROM.
Regardless, like I said previously, I'd like to fix this problem without getting rid of my current stock ROM.
use titanium backup and wipe data for everything that starts from gooogle and then insert your account again..

No luck. Using Titanium Backup, I tried wiping the data of every Google app, but it didn't work. I then tried a mass data wipe of ALL system and user apps. However, I ended up with the same result.
The Play Store displays no connection even with wifi. Already tried wiping dalvik cache, cache partition. Also tried force closing and clearing data from Google Play Services, Play Store, Google Service Framework. Help!!
Not enough information, your Play app could be corrupt, app settings, ROM or Google account.
Try logging into Google play on the website first to check the account works, then un-install Play app, re-install without settings, last try factory reset/reflash ROM.
It could be really simple or very terminal, like you've disabled a service or corrupted your ROM.

Thanks Muchly! Didnt think about the ad block.

found a better solution that worked for me without doing a factory reset or device wipe. just delete the hosts file in root/etc/, by using (total commander) app.then reboot ur device and run play store and enjoy. Make a copy of the "hosts" file just incase .
I hope it works for u guys , cuz it's really frustrating error.
Try clearing data from google play app and reboot ?

Deleting the hosts file and rebooting worked for me too. Thank you! :good:
AdFree
When using a rooted phone and you used Freedom for free in-game purchases, and as a result your play store won't connect, it's due the host file as stated in previous comments by others. To get rid of this problem, simply revert your host file and download the new host (both in the adfree app). This should fix the problem, hope it helps
Wrong Gapps version
After trying all solutions posted in this thread, I realized that the whole problem was that I had flash the wrong version of the Google Apps for the android version.
You can find which is the right one for your CM in the CyanogenMod Wiki. Sorry, I can't add the link now, it is my first link.
Fixed mine by realizing that somehow my system date and time were wrong.

Woohoo! That was it for me. This is on my old phone that I let sit for 6 months. Charged it up but couldn't access the Play Store to update apps. Turns out the Date was 1/1/2005. Gave it today's date and it connected right up.

So here is my basic issue at the moment:
I can get google play to work but uninstalling in titanium back up and reinstalling the apk manually and making it a system app. BUT it wont let me download apps or upfmdate apps or update google play services also I can't sync my contacts from my gmail account with my device. Thanks to one of the admins on here I was able to get google play up and running after it crashed the first time but sadly it has stopped functioning all together now. I have tried clearing the cache I haave wiped data but to no avail. I have even gone through the sames steps I used on my last thread to geet it working again but sadly the app fails after 2 to 3 minutes of being reinstalled. Does anyone know of a fix for this kind of an issue?
When I try to download apps it gives me the following error now
Error retrieving information from server
[RPC:S-7:AEC-0]
Wipe Cache in recovery
That got playstore up and running still no contacts syncing tho :/

restoring anything to /system using titanium in lollipop doesn't work, yet. Remove your google account in settings/accounts then wipe cache again, you won't lose anything. Then wipe data from google services and play store, you can use titanium to do that. Reboot, wipe cache again, then add your google account (do not restore it from a backup) in settings/accounts, and let it sync.
also,
if you're using any kind of nodded play store to do that first sync it won't work

Lucky patcher is an "illegal" modifying utility . Kindly refrain from posting threads for such apps or you'll get banned permanently.

Omg okay thx ?. Didnt know
@Darekkk
I don't even want to quote your post because of the reference there.
You can wipe system, data, dalvik and cache, flash the ROM and Gapps (which contains PlayStore) again.
Did you make sure to move the official playstore apk to Priv-system apps folder. As per your post, I guess you have installed the official playstore apk as an user app.
Ok so I updated to android 13 by flashing a complete image, but after that the play store started that my device is not play protect certified. Can't install some apps.. Any help would be great.
Have you wiped the Play Store cache in the application settings?

Likely because your bootloader is unlocked.
Are you rooted? If so, This Magisk mod should help. Also wipe cache and data from Play Store and reboot after installing the mod.
You can also try to download the apps that aren't available to you on Play Store from APK mirror, as an alternative.
This is normal, even when not rooted. My one was also not certified, took a day or so then it showed up as certified, even I am rooted. If it still doesn't, force stop of PlayStore and delete the storage.
But as written above, it takes up to a day being certified.
Cheers
Tom
