Hello everyone, my sister owns an UNLOCKED MOTO G (2nd Gen) and today it rebooted and got stucked in a bootloop. It's not rooted and she didn't unlock the bootloader. She has no idea why. The problem is that now the battery is 0% and it wont charge due to the bootloop so I can't do an external reset. Is there any solution?
Thank you very much!

you could try one of these. i know it doesnt state your device specifically, but there is no difference in the way its made from one device to another that im aware of. the only question would be, does moto still support these.
i actually have an adapter that goes between the phone and the cable, but it does the same as a full cable, and i paid the same as this cable.
it powers the phone directly without the need for a battery, and botts it right into fastboot.
works great on the older motos i have had. as long as its still supported in the new motos, it will solve your dead battery problem.
Dear techies good morning
I am sharing some of the problems arrived in my moto e
step by step please tell me if any solutions available.
For the period of one year my mobile went smoothly
Without any problem. but suddenly one day the imei
No's wiped out suddenly automatically. I tried restarting in
Safe mode and made factory reset but nothing was working.
So I decided to take it service centre they told that software
Update on should be done even after the updation the chances
For cure is 50% only . if it won't work the mother board should be
Replaced.
They made software updation to jelly bean the user interface
Are awesome for me. But after 20 days the same problem
Arrived but this time after a three four times restart the phone
Went restart automatically again and again and one time
Moto logo only arrived. I can't able to switch it off until its
Battary fully drain .
I checked rebooting all options I tried. When recovery given it says
"hab check failed for system
failed to validate system image
Boot up failed"
The whole screen's look like
"AP Fastboot Flash Mode (S)
50.OE (sha-4ed7eaf, 2015-04-06 15:04:46)

please help me friends I am waiting WOR your reply
Thank you.
Check thread on flashing stock firmware I. General section....or simply flash customer recovery and use any custom rom
Sent from my Moto E using Tapatalk
I had the same problem on stock KitKat ROM. But i didn't had problem with imei. Only sudden restarts. My moto restarted so much that I was unable to use anything. I flashed CM13 and I had no problem since then. Try any custom ROM.
I read about the various bootloop problems of the v10. All i read about was that the phone get stucked on the bootscreen. i thought that i got the same problem but my phone isnt stucked there. Its rebooting the whole time like a softreboot cause i dont have to type in my pin again after reboot. I can use it for like a 1min or so before it freezes and reboots again? Can anyone help me or does my phone have the bootloop issue
Yes, that's a bootloop.

Hello ys there is a chance to fix the probleme 2 ways i think. The first is to flash disable big core cpu with lgup look in youtube there is a video posted for lg g4 i asked the publisher if this tool work either in lg v10 and he tell me yes.the second way that you install apk in your v10 that application stop your smartphone to reboot fix the lag of your phone look either in youtuble if i remember the name i will tell you.good night.
hello there moto Z user! my friend has an moto Z running on stock rom nougat.. well he is just basically a typical android phone user.
this morning he woke up with his moto Z bootlooping, so i guide him to recovery mode and did wipe data hoping it will fix the bootloop but it didnt. infact the phone does boot now but once it reaches the set up wizard where you are allow to pick wifi to connect, the phone just hangs there and reboot again.
now i personally never tried anything with motoZ i have the oneplus3. before i start anything with the motoZ anyone have any suggestion to fix it? im thinking of flashing stockrom over it again with this guide here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MAy4vQtpd1s

If the bootloader is not unlocked then the best thing is to go to the Motorola service centre.

i swear I'll never buy another xiaomi again..
their phones are eye catching.. lower price, good spec's.. but man, thier user support is ****ed up!!

i got my phone working again today..
well mine doesn't really hard bricked.. its stuck in bootloop..with both fastboot and recovery accessible..
tried fixing it for the last 10 days but never had a workaround.
tried mi flash, with fastboot at recovery flashing countless times and it failed.
finally, I'm convinced that i couldn't fix it, so i talked to some technicians via social media and all of them said that the only thing that could save my phone was EDL flash.
I've read in some articles that some poco f1's with 2-3 year old battery have tendency to have unexplainable bootloop..
with this idea, i bought a new battery and replaced the old one..
i was about to short the test points, but suddenly got the wierd idea to turn on the phone to check the new battery if was working..then out of the blue, the phone got past the poco logo and showed MIUI..with fingers I've waited 2 minutes and the phone finally booted!
so to those fellow poco f1 users, try replacing the battery..
phone status before bootloop
a. unlocked bootloader
b. stock miui12
c. never been rooted
d. has 2 years and 10 moths battery
apologies fot my bad English..
