Hi guys , i have a redmi note4x ( mido ) , do you think xiaomi.eu is better than stock global rom ?
better in many aspects
Xiaomi.eu (weekly) is based on china dev and I prefer stock global dev version due to less bugs. I was using xiaomi.eu on my previous Mi 4c only because global rom wasnt available for my device.
Flash the Mi Globe Rom (not global) . It's more tuned than eu rom whilst based on it.

It's based on Xiaomi.eu ROM albeit more refined. You can fine-tune the features needed. Check the below URL and click on expert settings.

Thanks for that. I remember 'cooking' my ROMS back in the Windows Phone era.
So far, performance is pretty good but battery does seem to suffer a little. Will use this until a decent build of MIUI 9 comes out for Nikel.

they are different. But a few ones say multirom has a feature that changes way of getting free memory. Honestly, i dont trust.
And with stable I mean stable. As in rock solid performance, all sensors, all modes, the works. I can live with Miui if not.
official lineageos
Rock stable? Ehh.. No. Sorry mate but no ROM is completely bug free at the moment. Also, it depends on your device so just try out a few and see which one you like best.
The best custom ROM which is rock solid is this: https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-3/development/rom-lineageos-13-0-t3533744
You can use Official Lineage ROM as a daily driver..

ive been using RR 5.7.4. marshmellow rom for about 2 months now and i have to say it runs really stable.... then i tried several nougat roms including lineage and rr 5.8 ... none of the nougat roms is bugfree. iven the MM RR lacks good camera app. since a few days i switched to xiaomi.eu rom and until now im pretty happy with it. very good battery life (with rr 5.7.4) i only reached 6h SOT and now with xiaomi.eu i reach in minimum 8h.
if you can stick to miui ... i could recommend that one to you
Guys what do you recommend? Android Pie stable or beta? Or do you recommend any custom rom? Thank you!

Any bugs? I mean I prefer all options to be working which are working in Miui. I am not talking about the ones which are explicitly for Miui but in general.

This rom solves the screen delay?
In all honesty, everyone is different. They all have their strengths and weaknesses. If you don't mind flashing, I urge you to try a few and see what fits you the best. What's good for one is not always what's good for the other. Personally, I use pixel experience with pix3lfy magisk module... But that's just what I like.
I literally try every single rom I can find for my devices. Each one has its good and bad sides. Sometimes I like using a Pie ROM, sometimes I like MIUI. I'm using Pixel Experience right now, but as soon as the next MIUI from Xiaomi.eu is available I'll be installing that one.
Every person uses their device differently and therefore will have different requirements.
Me, I look for smoothness of operation and long battery life.
Syberia is great, Havoc is good, PE is lovely, MIUI is nearly perfect (for me).
Get comfortable with backing up your data and flashing and try them all!
I flashed Mi-Room 8.12.13, and I can say, this one is the best I tried. Seems snappier than EU and stable/beta. I also tried LOS/PExperience but they seem half-finished...

Yes, but you won't notice any differences. At the moment I'rocking almost 10h SOT which I haven't managed to do since MIUI 9...
I do use Syberia, its great performance over 265k in Antutu and is stable af. I didnt found any single bug and OTA works good.
I would like to test Pixel Experience but im very comfortable with Syberia
I have used almost all custom ROMs available for Poco F1 except crDroid and Mokee. And this is my top 5 choices.
1. Stock miui (8.12.13; Rooted and debloated a few system apps)
2. Miui EU
3. NOS
4. Omni
5. AOSiP
Right now I am using NOS+MicroG+Magisk+Derp Kernel and the combination seems to work for me pretty well. Anyway, this is my personal choice. You may have different experience.

I have seen a lot of positive reviews of the Evo-x rom but is it flawless? I don't know because I have not tried it. Maybe @dantk can fill us in on that.
Are you looking for aosp or miui based ROMs? Personally i have only ever used miui-based roms and can wholeheartedly vouch for Miui eu 11.0.11 or MiuiMix 11.0.11. Don't install miui 12 just yet. Masik X gets a lot of praise as well but, again, haven't used it.

No MIUI 12 is good enough for me. Everything works but it lags way behind in terms of optimization. It just feels rushed and the phone doesn't feel as snappy as miui 11.0.11. Try for yourself and see. It's just my opinion.
Goodday fam...
Okay I'm new here, .I just want to drop a brief beginner's question. I actually got some helpful answers but they don't just hit the nail. Hope someone can be of assistanae cos i'm literally tired of searching. Okay, this is how my question goes: I'm a guy wanting to flash a custom Xiaomi.eu rom on my RN9S that shipped with miui 11 a10, can I actually flash a rom that says "v13-11" or "v12-10", for example, without updating the stock rom first to miui 12?
Bootloader unlocked.
Much thanks for replies!

You can flash the rom directly.
If you downgrade the version, the data must be formatted.

Thanks alot...that is just what I need...much love man.
Ohh, sorry...can I also flash a rom that is not based on my phone's android version?
You can flash any rom, provided it is for your device (curtana) and if the current rom is in A12, you will have to format the data to flash an A11, not necessary for A11 to A12.
If you don't understand, post an example.

And I can get that on "EU Multilang ROMs" right?

First boot takes 5/8 minutes.
Thanks, is it possible to recommend the most stable one?
I've read people complain about 12.5 a lot and 13 less but 12 rarely. So I would like your opinion.

This is Miui 14 A12, there is no Weekly (Beta) version for your device since it is based on Global.
All are stables,(I no longer have your device, in a drawer).).
