If it's encrypted, then you've to perform a FORMAT data via twrp. That's the reason why internal storage isn't showing.

There's no way to decrypt unless you perform a FORMAT data via twrp.

nope its not better ... it will not move your delvic executable file.. so it will take more memory as compare to linking apps to sd... iam also using link2sd check my screenshot of the internal memory
and also there is not any option to moving to partition so you can only move to first partition using app2sd or app manager...
I recently flashed cm10.1 on my GS3 and now I've got all my internal storage stuck in the storage/emulated/0/android/obb or storage/emulated/legacy/android/obb locations. Under settings it shows total space 12.05gb, available is 668mb but less than 1/4 of the visual bar is full and accounted for. Sd maid is showing the obb folder is holding 11.39gb but no matter what explorers I use it always appears empty. Anyone know how to free up this spae? I can't find anything anywhere about this. Thank you ion advance.
Edit:
Restoring it doesn't free the space up at all. Even tried restoring my backups and the space remains full.

This is happening to me on my Nexus 4, no solution found yet
Same problem
I'm currently having this problem and used the SD Maid app and it says the exact same thing. Did anyone ever find a solution?
Only thing that worked was formatting the internal memory. A restore won't do it, must be a fill format. Feels great to have the space back.
that's because of the previous firmware's data saved on your phones. just perform a full emmc(only internal memory) wipe.
The answer is in my signature. No need to wipe anything

Edit: Although I lost some stuff, it did fix my problem...

No it didn't. If you deleted eveything on your internal sdcard you did not do what I said in my thread
Can you provide me the link to it? I failed to find your solution in your signature....

Any ideas ??!
Some info about the phone :
Phone : LG G5 H850 (TIM_IT)
Bootloader unlock: Yes
Rooted : yes
TWRP : Installed
Thank you and sorry for my bad english.
You need to format data in TWRP. Not wipe, but format. You will need to type "yes" when needed. You will loose data on internal storage if you had any.
IT'S OK, THE PROBLEM IS SOLVED !!!
thanks to @gwolfu for the help
the solution :
"go to TWRP and format data
note, format not wipe"

Attachment isn't showing here, seems broken.
But, it is a bug with mido's TWRP.
Just backup system, data & boot. Good to go.
Or exclude bootloader partition. Backup.

Hi, I have mate 10 lite: RNE-L21C185B142 with Nougat
I have flashed various TWRP files to get a full backup, but all fail at data, check the following screenshot
createTarkFork() process ended with ERROR: 255

I have used an external hard drive as the OTG storage when I tried backup, and also tried another time
with a 32 GB SD card but both show same error at same point. There is no addon.d in my system folder
and also I have tried with enabling/disabling compression when taking backup. And I did unchecked data partition
from Mount in TWRP.
When I go to reboot it shows another error at the end of above screenshot in red color:
E:Error making /data/app/me.twrp.twrpapp-1 directory: permission denied
I have attached both recovery logs. Please suggest what shall I do
It's because of encrypted data, you have to untick data
It also happened to me. It was the twin app's fault. I deactivated it and now it does not give me this error.

Answer already given... It's because of encrypted data...
For details you can look at this post...
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=75052881&postcount=340
Remember... Make always a backup of your important datas from internal storage to an external SD Card or to your PC
