I am using Spice Dream UNO(Android One).
Bootloader: Unlocked
ROM: Marshmallow Stock ROM
Rooted: Yes
Recovery: TWRP
My phone suddenly started giving continuous Force closes so I restarted it and got stuck in a bootloop. Trying to Wipe any partitions failed with Error 1 and I was unable to copy or write to any partition from TWRP file manager. Nandroid backup and restore failed too.
So, I tried to flash Stock Lollipop ROM using SP Flash Tools and it flashed successfully but now all partitions show 0 MB size except Boot, IMEI and Recovery partitions.
Flashing ROM or restoring backup using TWRP still fails. Changing partition format, wiping, formatting fails too. Manual flashing using fastboot shows success but partition sizes still stay at 0MB. I have tried everything but I am not able to restore the partitions back to normal.
I haven't used the format feature of SP flash tools.
Now starting TWRP or fastboot turns the phone off and I am not able to access them.
Is EMMC of this phone corrupted or not? Can it be fixed?
Anyone? It's urgent.
Please, anybody? I need this phone right now.

I've tried to flash my rom to CM7 but something went wrong with the procedure because I am stuck on the android boot screen (Android logo lightning, it gets stuck for a while and then the letters continue flashing, cycling).
I followed the normal procedure: root, installed custom recovery, I made a backup with nandroid (normal one, which I copied to my computer), wiped data+cache (both caches) and I tried to flash from SD. Update went as normal but I got stuck in this boot screen.
After trying 2 or 3 times this same procedure and being unable to move on, I tried to recover my backup using nandroid: it said it was unable to recover and to do it from adb; adb says that it's unable to mount my sdcard.
From what I've read, I would need to repartition my card.. I chose that option in the recovery; still unable to recover my backup.
I figured that it would not be too bad if I lost my data, so after giving up on CM7 I gave up on recovering my data as well.. the problem is that even after wiping data and cache I'm still stuck in this same boot screen.
Any idea?
I can access recovery and adb so this has to have a solution..
I managed to boot after formatting /system.
I am currently running the awezome rom from uriel. Here is what is going on and what I've tried. I am unable to erase the internal sd either by file explorers or using windows. Everything says it is deleted but returns after a reboot. Ive used fastboot to erase every partition and reflash stock images and it still boots up to the same rom. I tried using rsd lite by flashing an sbf, again the same awezome rom boots up. Apps that I install uninstall after a reboot as well. The recovery will not flash any new roms or format any of the partitions such as system or data or the sd cards. I don't know what to do

Have you tried re-flashing the recovery?
Hi all,
I am on 4.4.4 and used TWRP in past, now I am on Philz Touch latest recovery.
I first cleaned data and system and tried to flash a different rom, it flashed fine but when I tried to flash 4.4.4 Gapps recovery restarted and it kept restarting if I tried to flash that Gapps so I cleaned again and only flashed the Rom this time, rebooted and my system restarted to recovery.
I manually tried to format all partitions but got
"E:format_volume: make_ext4fs failed on /dev/block/mmcblk0p10
E:Error formatting /preload!"
while formatting preload partition.
I google about this and search in xda too and found few threads suggesting to format /preload partition using TWRP recovery so I tried to flash TWRP but it stuck on it's flash screen. I tried to flash old version using Odin as well as new one but it keeps hanging on the it's flash screen. Flashing Philz via odin works every time but not TWRP.
So it looks like I am not able to format /preload partition, I am not able to flash any rom or gapps and not able to flash any version of TWRP recovery.
I am able to take a backup of my phone and restore it without any problem including my internal sd card using Philz Touch though just for the info.
So any suggestions friends?
Thanks.
Edit:
Flashing normal cwm and flashing TWRP after removing TWRP folder from internal memory helped to boot into TWRP. Also I was able to format /preload using normal CWM recovery however flashing anything using any recovery whether it's TWRP or Philz Touch simply boot my phone back into recovery itself and nothing works.
Even a clean flash doesn't work and flashing only a simply rom file will not work and boot my phone directly into recovery so it looks like my memory is corrupted or something similar.
I would appreciate any kind of suggestions related to my problem. Thanks.
Update :
Thankfully it was only my memory card which got corrupted and thus corrupted my rom files too so changing those files fixed my issue..

I mistakenly wiped the system files in twrp mode and when I tried restoring the nandroid backup I previously made, it got stuck and only boot and data[excl storage] are getting restored. Now even the nandroid backup has no system files in it. After that, I tried almost every method I knew. I flashed the full fastboot rom via mi flash. After that, it is showing the message as "the system is destroyed".What should I do?
The twrp I am using is twrp -3.2.1-0-mido.img

Did you try installing a custom rom?

Flash the fastboot rom through ADB commands using this method it works https://forum.xda-developers.com/xiaomi-redmi-3s/help/to-flash-stock-rom-miflash-easy-mi-t3678148
This shouldn't happen...i always wipe system partition before flashing any rom...I even wiped system partition during the installation of xiaomi.eu rom once...and it didn't do any harm...
hey guys just looking for some help. ive been modding and flashing phones from 2014, but its always gone really smoothly, so my diagnostic ability is lacking.
it started with flashing twrp. my bootloader is unlocked, usb debugging on, device is showing in adb and fastboot, and i can flash twrp without any issues. hoowever when i go to boot twrp, only the stock recovery boots. i tried to flash twrp using the XiaoMiTool v2, but the same thing happened. i eventually got around this by just booting twrp instead of trying to flash it. so i got in, took a full back-up and started installing a custom rom.
the first one i tried was ParanoidAndroid Quartz. i wiped cache, dalvik and storage then transferred it to my phone, tried to flash and got "zip verification failed". so i turn off zip verification and tried again. it flashed perfectly with zero errors. however, when i reboot the phone it would only boot to stock recovery and not twrp (expected) or the new rom. i tried that a few times, then tried LineageOS, and MSM Xtended 10. all of them had the same issue, the flashed without a hitch, then wouldnt boot.
i also tried flashing a new fw-vendor and it just straight up failed. Then i decided to cut my losses and restore my twrp backup, and that came back with the error, "extractTarFork() process ended with error: 255"
Software before i began these attempts was completely stock, so i dont know what is going wrong, but as of now, my phone is bricked, i cant install a new rom or restore my back-up.
any help is appreciated guys. thanks
You can figure out this problem with
1 Copy backup folder to computer
2- Format Data - Yes , Wipe Everything
3- Install ROM that you have installed before and boot
4- Go to TWRP, format data yes reboot recovery
5- Paste backup folder to internal storage and restore
