So I got S7 locked to Vodafone (UK).
I bought it as 2nd hand and can't unlock it through Vodafone.
What are my options?

I purchased an AT&T Unlocked Samsung Galaxy S2 SGH-i777 from eBay - when I upgraded the ICS today, the phone got locked. Unfortunately the seller didn't provided me with the Unlock key.

I've used my Galaxy S6 Edge for a few months now. It was carrier unlocked.
Today, a message popped up on my phone saying it needs a carrier unlock code.
I don't know the original carrier, as I've bought the bought from a stranger.
Is there a method to find out the carrier ? Can I unlock it for free using root ?
I'm willing to pay, but I'm guessing I need to know the country and carrier.
Phone Info says only Samsung at the manufacturer.

Hi I have an Samsung A80 (one of the two variants that are compatible with bootloader unlocking etc) that I bought in South Africa, however the second sim is lock. Is it possible to unlock it, similar to how you can unlock dual sim on P20 Lite?
