Thanks, Slimrom, light and smooth ...
Good to see another custom ROM for Che2.
This is great, I am going to try both of these (Slim and RR). What is the main difference between EMUI and SlimROM except for it's smaller? Reviews?

-Newer android version
-Some(most) people like slim/RR/some other custom rom overlay better.
-If you had some problems in EMUI with background user apps stopping (like whatsapp message notifications arriving too late or google photo doesn't sync) you won't have those problems any more.
For me battery in deepsleep goes bit faster on RR than it went on EMUI.
EMUI ~3-8% in 10h
RR ~10-14% in 10h
But maybe it's because the background apps work like you would expect them to work. Or maybe it's something else.

Thanks. I get only about ~10% per 10h on my EMUI, and I'm running modaco rom, which is a slimmed down version of stock EMUI. I haven't had any problems with background apps or other things on modaco, but I like the idea of finally advancing to Nougat on kirin with a functional dual sim.
What about Apps2SD or adoptable storage? Maybe it's not necessary on Slim or RR? Honor 4x is almost useless without adding some internal storage via some such solution.

I think System will always take ~4GB (unless you do some re-partitioning) so you would still need Apps2SD or adoptable.

Is adoptable storage improved in nougat? It was not good enough in MM to really expand storage, so Apps2SD was needed back then.

No idea, I haven't tested adopted storage because Apps2SD is more flexible.

is it possible to make a custom rom for cherryplus that will utilize the storage being used by the system?!? like from 3.6 GB usable internal storage to 5-6 GB?!? I mean that would be a great help!

I think you could try to re-partitioning your device. Though it might be a bit risky if you are not sure what you are doing. It's safer to just use adopted storage or apps2sd to get more space and performance lost in that is unnoticeable in most cases (and I think it only affects to loadingtimes)

Agreed. There are only a few apps that load significantly slower if you link them with Apps2SD, and you can put those apps on /system partition. (For example "HereWeGo" navigation app takes very long time to load, like ~25 sec.)
It have the same battery consomming like RROS?
I think you should compare with Che2-ul00 B580 last build, only 1~2% in 12hours at deepsleep.

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
We'll not support users and answer questions from users which:
are running a custom kernel
have flashed mods
modified system files
didn't follow our intructions word by word
are unfriendly
And most important: DON'T READ THE OP
What's working:
RIL (Calls, SMS, Mobile data) [Dual-SIM]
Wifi (connection, tethering, etc)
Bluetooth
Camera, video codecs
Storage (both internal and external)
Storages (internal, external, adoptable storage) (*)
Offline charging
zRAM (compressed-RAM swap)
GAPPS
Tethering (USB, Wifi, Bluetooth)
GPS
Torch (flashlight)
WiFi-Direct
SELinux enforcing
New lz4 compressor/de-compressor for zram (new)
BUGS/Not working :
There're lots of bugs, but main are
No sound (beware making alarm while running this ROM), also Sound Recording doesn't work
Sound quality not too good when playing loud music or sound
FM radio app FC (due to missing libraries)
Screen recorder freeze the system (due to codecs, maybe)
Screen flickering on apps only (known as "strict mode"). Quick solution is pressing recents button, then return to the app. Currently, we can't disable it through Developer options
Distorting sound when using Bluetooth headset in call
WiFi-Direct does not work
WiFi auto-disconnect
AudioFX is not working
Battery drain caused by RIL
Cannot switch mobile data to other SIM without reboot
First time installing CyanogenMod 13 to your Galaxy V, or coming from another ROM:
Install TWRP Recovery
Reboot into Recovery using 3-button-combo (Vol-up+Home+Power)
Do a Nandroid backup! (Optional and only if you weren't running TouchWiz before)
WIPE (wipe data/factory reset + wipe cache partition + format /system partition)*
Install the ROM from sdcard using TWRP Recovery
Optionally install the Google Apps ( get it here: https://opengapps.org ) (pico GAPPS recommended) (*)
(*) NOTE: If you're about going to install GAPPS with ROM, install it right after you've installed the ROM, else you have to do a factory reset if you've booted the ROM first

F.A.Q
Q: ROM startup too slow?
A: This device is just a single-core phone, so the first startup is super-duper slow, and some lags are expected during usage
Q: ETAs?
A: See here: Link
Q: Anymore models supported?
A: SM-G313ML, SM-G313H
Q: Is init.d supported on this ROM?
A: Every CyanogenMod ROMs support init.d, so be free at scriptings
Q: Can you include ABCXYZ feature / Samsung Apps here?
A: NO!
Q: Can i use your ROM as a base for portings?
A: Yes, you could, but give proper credits
Q: Status 7 when installing the ROM?
A: Use TWRP recovery to install the ROM, as CWM is not supported yet
Q: Server error in Google Play Store?
A: Install latest Google Play Services manually first (might take long time, due to Lollipop's nature), then you can install apps from GG Play as usual
Q: How to use adoptable storage feature? I see it's new in Marshmallow
A: Go to Settings >> Storage & USB >> Tap on the SD card label (not the eject icon) >> 3 dots menu on the top right >> Settings >> Format as internal and done!
Q: Where's the MTP option in Marshmallow? I don't see it in Storage settings
A: This feature has been moved to Developer settings, and will reset to default (Charging) after every reboots. Enable developer options first by tapping 7 times on Build number in About phone section >> Go to Developer settings >> Select USB configuration. The fastest way to do this is plug in your USB with your PC, scroll down notification bar and tap on "USB for Charging"
Q: Where's the "running" section in Apps settings?
A: It has been cut off separately to Memory setting and "Running services" in Developer settings. You can see the memory used by apps for a period of time and closing apps too, but they won't disappear in the menu, and in "Running services", still same as old-fashioned running apps section

Actually, the camera is usable, but sometimes during capture only, it lags (just for minimal duration, count by miliseconds). Video recording works just fine, but no sound
When RIL is fixed, we'll switch the ROM to beta builds, as it's a major issue for now

Fun fact: Audio is dead, but we can still hear what people are saying in calls
I am confuse, that how can you upgrade your kernel.
Your device Kernel version was 3.10.17 and now its upgraded to 3.10.34
How is that possible.
I planned to port this ROM to higgs2g if the CM13 build process always fails.. Can I have permission to port this ROM? Thanks in advance

F.A.Q
1. Why i'm getting bootloops after only wipe data w/o /data/media internal storage?
A: Because sometimes, our /data partition is corrupted, so full wipe is possible.
2. Do i get OTAs everyday?
A: No! Because we're not get this to official, so no OTAs
3. Is init.d supported?
A: Yes, all CyanogenMod ROMs support this, so be free at scriptings
4. Can you include Samsung Apps/ ABCXYZ features here?
A: No! But, you can customize this ROM for your own. If you wanna release it public, give proper credits.
5. I can't connect to WiFi?
A: Use any root browser software, go to /data/misc/wifi, change "ctrl_interface" from wpa_supplicant.conf from "wlan0" to "/data/misc/wifi/sockets"
6. WiFi Direct in Settings is not working?
A: This feature is in beta-testing. You can use any 3rd-party software to use this feature.
7. What kernel is using in this ROM? Can i install any kernel on this ROM?
A: Mostly is stock kernel with sth modified to work with CM. You could use any kernel in this CM as you want, but don't send bug reports or confuses about bricked your device due to installing custom kernel. Read carefully first if you're going to install custom kernel. If your device is soft bricked, restore it with Odin or reinstall the ROM with factory reset.
8. Why i can't move apps to SD card?
A: Google and CM themselves removed the code of App2SD from framework mainline, so this feature is unavailable
9. Why i can't call to anyone, even you said that RIL is fixed?
A: You've to active SIMs first, by go to Settings >> SIM cards >> Configure SIM cards >> Touch active (ON/OFF switch) to active SIMs and use them as usual
10. Where's transparent status bar?
A: You have to enable developer options first, by go to Settings >> About phone >> 7-taps on build number >> Back to settings >> Performance >> Choose "Force high-end graphics" >> Reboot
11. Missing 480p quality on YouTube, tho stock still have it?
A: Look at build.prop, change Android version to 4.4.2 and reboot, feel the magic

As far as I know, you're not supposed to use custom kernel when flashing CM roms. So, I would suggest you to first install stock kernel, then flash the ROM.

CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 5.1.1 (LP), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
Code:
#include <std_disclaimer.h>
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
*
*/
BEFORE INSTALLING THIS ROM, MAKE SURE YOUR DEVICE MODEL IS THE SAME AS TITLE
IF YOU ASK ANY QUESTIONS LIKE "IS THIS FOR MODEL BLABLABLA" THEY WILL BE ALL IGNORGED
Wifi (connection, tethering, etc)
Bluetooth (need quick patches in download link)
Camera, video codecs
RIL (Calls, SMS, mobile data)
Storage (both internal and external)
MTP storage (both internal and external)
Offline charging
zRAM (compressed-RAM swap)
GAPPS
Tethering (USB, Wifi, Bluetooth)
GPS
Sound recording
Torch (flashlight)
BUGS/Not working:
Laggy recorded videos. In this case, use MX Player, choose SW codecs when you play these videos, they will become normal
Switching to other fonts will get bootloops after restart. In this case, if you use TWRP recovery, go to File Manager >> delete "themes" from /data/system would help you escape this without factory reset
First time installing CyanogenMod 12.1 to your Galaxy Core Prime, or coming from another ROM:
Install TWRP Recovery
Reboot into Recovery using 3-button-combo (Vol-up+Home+Power)
Do a Nandroid backup! (Optional and only if you weren't running TouchWiz before)
WIPE (wipe data/factory reset + wipe cache partition + format /system partition)*
Install the ROM from sdcard using TWRP Recovery
Optionally install the Google Apps ( get it here: https://opengapps.org ) (pico GAPPS recommended)

Awesome.
I know you skills from Huawei phones, and now, that you have Qualcomm device, you will only "play" with these roms. I can already see that at least 5 new rom is coming for us(usually as you did with huawei phones )
Wish you good luck, and happy coding, haky! (also, use blackscreen oc kernel as main kernel, that one is the most used/best)

Heey, CandyRom. Last time I saw one was at LG G3 when it was candysix, if I remember correctly. Good to have you here.
Your device is ZL1, based on the SD821, I have ZL0 SD820 with same amount 6/64 storage.
It's based on Lineage, so most of stuff like Substratum, Viper4Android and/or Xposed might not supported?
Does it have AudioFX on it?

Yea the rom still updated.
to be honest I didn't tried yet substratum and other stuff, because the TWRP I flash won't show the internal storage even mounted on pc that working fine on stock firmware. not sure if required otg or not.

Sounds like your partitions went a weird way..
Got the same problem, try to flash fastboot rom via All in One Tool by Mauronifo.
After that, flash newest twrp from twrp.me/zl1
Then your issue should be fixed!

Yep, Elite version X722 with 6 gb ram and 64 gb rom.
I was lucky to come across it from Banggood, not sure if other sellers have it too.
I tested the rom, and it's so far good.
I think it is AOSP based rom with Lineage kernel
So few installed apps, but luckily it have stuff to messing around at Settings.
Works:
Blackscreen kernel
Subsratum Theme Engine
Pixel2Mod Camera "Gcam"
Viper4Android partly? Had to made SELinux to Permissive, needs Magisk root to change it
I lose phone signal sometimes, but just a few seconds. It doesn't affect phonecalls.
Gonna stick with it in few days, playing and using it as daily driver.
New release has arrived but beware! Additional items updated.
Untested version (newest release, don't download): https://drive.google.com/file/d/1V16L3NZBVCwrbJFAo04ckDG_H5gLEalN/view?usp=sharing
This is just the 7.10.12 beta but a bit more optimized than ever. I will be pushing out updates with optimization once a week or month.
This thread is totally about the Redmi 2 (1GB version), Redmi 2 Prime issues won't be covered because you probably won't be using this ROM on it. However this ROM will work like a beast on the 2GB version.

Xposed : https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=6006931924117894520 (Install as a normal apk. Tap on framework > install/update > reboot.)
SuperSU flashable zip: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=6006931924117894517 (Flash it only after MiUi has been completed booted to home/start screen.)
Requirements:
TWRP recovery
Redmi 2 (1GB RAM) phone
Prerequisite:
Do a back up of everything you don't want to lose.
or simply do a nandroid backup.
Note:
You can do factory reset before installing the rom.
However this ROM is downgrade/upgrade compatible which means no matter what your present MiUi is, this will support it.
Update/Upgrade/Downgrade only supported on/over MiUi rom. (If you're on MiUi rom say 9.2.x(last release for Redmi 2)even then you don't need to wipe the data or do a factory reset.)
Procedure:
Copy to external card/memory card. Flash the zip via TWRP recovery. No data wipe/factory reset required (if you're on MiUi). Do factory reset if you want.
OR use adb to sideload the zip while in TWRP adb sideload. Code: adb sideload <filename>.
Cache and dalvik cache wipe is a must.
Known Bugs/Issues:
Music Player's playlist is weirdly arranged while in player screen.
VoLTE doesn't work. Because it is based on 4.4.4 kitkat MiUi8 ROM which never had the VoLTE.
Music Player(if running in background) freezes when RAM is cleaned.
What did I do?:
Removed the possible backdoor SystemAdSolution.apk.
Zipaligned all apks.
Changed few things in build.prop.
Everything under 500mb.
Recommended action post installation:
Do NOT install SuperSU or BusyBox right away. Let the ROM boot for the first time. First boot takes 5 mins.
Download rootuninstaller and remove : BugReport.apk and MiPicks.apk.
You may also remove/uninstall KLO bugreport.
Do NOT uninstall Updater.apk. Turn off auto updates. Do NOT update to newer MiUi versions.
How's it (compared to last/latest MiUi released for Redmi 2)?
It's now more stable when on 4G network. VoLTE/HD calling still not supported.
RAM usage has been optimized. If PUBG is supported, it will run just fine on it.
App opening time has been significantly decreased. You'll enjoy it.
Battery back up has been improved. Charge speed is 1% per minute till 60%.
Latest SuperSU works flawlessly. Xposed works flawlessly. Greenify works.
Few FAQs:
I want Mi Account to work. It will work
I want Mi backup to work. It will work
Can I update play store and apps? Why not? Do it!
I want to update MiUi. Working on it. Just wait and you'll get a better and stable update.
Bootloop! Flash the ROM again from the recovery. Still no factory reset required.
Little bit about the ROM:
ROM Version: 7.10.12
MiUi Version: 7.10.12 Beta Release
ROM Android Version: 4.4.4
ROM Kernel Version: 3.10.28
Stability: Stable
Changelog
1. 11 June 2019 (first release) - HM2014811_signed_061119_211244.zip
[If you're coming from MiUi v9.2.3.0 (last MiUi update for Redmi 2)]
Screen Recorder (stock version) makes a comeback here.
RAM optimization
Battery Improvement. Faster charging (negligible).
More Free RAM when cleaning recent apps. (considering when used Greenify).
Faster App execution than before.
Little to no known bugs.
[If you're coming from any other ROM.]
Fastest MiUi8/9 for Redmi 2 till date.
Everything from the above list follows.
Lemme show you what this MiUi is capable of*. Check attachments.
*The free RAM is because of a RAM booster app, I have uploaded it in the extras post.
Extras
RAM Booster: attached as 2x.apk
Xposed Installer: attached as XpostedInstaller...apk
SuperSU: attached as UPDATE-SuperSU....zip
How to use:
1) RAM Booster: tap on "one click optimization" and then tick select "enable turbo mode" and then tap on "one click randomization" and accept the warning. All app will close and you will have much free RAM from before. Repeat no more than 3 times. Restart the phone once every 24 hours if you're using this booster.
2) Xposed Installer: (SuperSU necessary): Install and update the framework binaries and reboot. And you're done.
3) SuperSU: Install/Flash via TWRP recovery. Wipe Dalvik cache and cache.

There might be a possibility of MiUi 10(using themes, afterall MiUi is nothing but a theme) but it will run very slow. It will be nearly useless.

wt88047 means 2014811/12/17/18/19/21

it might not be compatible with redmi 2 prime as I have not tried it.
