hey guys it's my first time using a HONOR device and i'm loving it but i have 03 problems if you can help me out please
1- how to disable the front camera beauty mode ?
2- is the front camera portrait mode that ugly or i just don't know how to use it ?
3- i have lags using the device , in tests they said it's very smooth but i do have lags sometimes , not in multitasking , but for exemple when i scroll down in facebook or instagram , i restored the device and still the same problem , i have a chinese device
and finally can someone send me a guide to how to take great pictures please ? thank you guys
You can still enable portrait mode and disable beauty mode. Just drag the beauty level bar all the way to the left.

3. You are not alone with this issue, more people reported same lags. Interesting my phone is ok, so not all models/phone have this issue

Oh thanks bro already red that thread and i don't have that lag issue. One more question please. The front camera is really awful blurry and a lot of noise or mine has a problem??

Found it, photos with my device front camera are blurry and noisy even in daylight i think it's defective

Is there any chance to make faster photo shooting with neo v ? When i try to shoot is trying to focus and im missing the moment .
Set capturing mode to normal, then set scene "Sports".

Its called "proCapture camera"
Where you find it......I can't tell you
But it taking photos faster than you sdcard writing speed can store themselves

That is dead discussion! In all modes you can get fast picture by forcing shatter button without waiting autofocus (~0.5 sec) and get unfocussed shoot, but if you want good pictures, you wait for capture moment, use sports mode - push button for focus, wait moment and then push the button! (read user manual!)

Nonoooo......try it yourself
I bay ProCaptureCamera (now is discount, it pay only $.49), yes it works, you can disable autofocus and get picture immediatly and get ~ 2-3 shots in seccond!

Your sdcard don't capable save FASTER than 3 pictures/1second.

No, here is special shoot speed limitations to push selling taskkiller (offered after first shoot)!
Between..best option to take "BEST PICTURES" IS USE video recording option It saves 20-30frames in second choose is yours.

Ah well, i noticed that problem while using skype. But, so far as i know, no solution. I have to sit infront of a very bright light, like a high power table lamp for it to work.
Hi guys, i`ve installed the CM 9 last week and this is working fine, but wen i take a picture my camera doeseng get automatically focus, i have to touch the screen on the place i wat to focus before taking pictures....is there any configuration where i can put my automatic focus back?
This is important to me because i use my camere alot, and touching the screen is a little annoying.
Other problem is the panoramic camera that doesen`t work, i have the image on my screen, but when i start taking the picture it says I`m very fast, and then whe i get slow my picture is very, very short.
I would be very thankfull about some help.

Hey guys, i read today that the problem with the panoramic camera is commum and the developers steel doesent fixed this feature, but about the automatic focous i steel doesnt find anything about...i just want to know if there are any configuration on the phone to soalve this problem.
Add camera ics from the play store. It might solve your problem.

Thanks man, it aworked for me, but i still have one problem, now i have the focus on my screen when i press the camera buton (just half) but it looks up for the focus but the simbol doesnt get green, it just gets green when i touch the screen.
is there any configuration for this?
I didnt find anything about this on the forum.....

Wakes phone from standby mode? Have you used it?
+1, waiting for the screen to turn on and then open the camera usually results in a lost photo op. :|

Exactly. Well a camera shortcut on lockscreen helps a lot but what I'm asking is a lot faster and guarantees you ll catch that critical moment Hope someone helps on that.

Even if it could be set up to just take a photo on say holding down volume, without opening up the camera app.
You wouldn't have time to frame the shots anyway.
There are a few apps which take photos by just tapping an icon, without opening up anything or a viewfinder.
Maybe mapping this to a hardware button? Would make taking a photo faster, saving on the second or 2 it takes to open the app.
New Security patch is dated 01.12.2018.
Battery is also tweaked, it is only possible to choose graphical or percentage within the battery itself. Adaptive battery is there, maybe it was not new but I haven't seen it before.
Also, now we have several new option to choose inside multitasking window...
And Gcam fully working too!

I can't tell you about night sight since it's midday over here.... but I can take photo with that, too. No stuttering, everything seems to be working fine! I've installed this one.
Any first impression about the battery ? And wat about the status bar not in line with the notch ? Any fix ?

Meh, standby drain is something you can see easly if you have an app to monitor the battery .
What about the buggy status/bar + notch instead ?
Yes, there is still a battery in the device. It seems that the new version doubled the capacity. 10.1 -> 10.2. And there will be an XIAOMI coffee pot which can be connected to the USB-port. Just download the MIUI V10 coffee brewer app from fuggbatterydiscussions.com. :silly:

Not that I know...
I can confirm notifications are now working in AOD, not all apps notifications are being displayed though. WhatsApp, GMail, Messenger ok, MS Teams and Outlook are not. Also the notifications appear but if you unlock and lock the screen without viewing the notifications they no longer show. Don't seem to be persistent like on the Samsung AOD. Maybe something to do with the notification/clock process which also only occurs once at screen unlock.
Auto-brightness is still shocking (I'm using Velis) and again AOD always turns off in low (no) light, making it very much not 'always on'. Full-screen mode seems to be working better, with animations following gestures being far less laggy.

I find auto brightness now is working perfectly in 10.2.1.
It auto adjust within my desired range, instead of the preset range.
