RUU 7.18.531.35.zip update for Mac OSX users - T-Mobile HTC One (M7)

nkk71, here, was good enough to extract and upload the zip from the T-Mo US RUU.exe so that I could update my M7 to what is the latest and prolly last OEM RUU for the M7.
For whatever reason, I was failing when I tried myself under BootCamp W7 on my MBA.
Here's the link for same hosted by the good folks at Android File Manager.
And here's some info on how I flashed it with OSX Mavs running BC and W7.
One caveat here.
As far as I recall, one needs to already be on this version of the firmware to accomplish this feat.
That would mean you are already on 7.18.531.2 or thereabouts.
My M7 is rooted, unlocked and S-Off.
I'm just a user.
I make no promises. There may be extra steps here you don't need, but I am not a developer of any kind and the only code I know is Morse.
Proceed at your own risk.

some of this will involve using a Windows browser of your choice.
I used Firefox and/or Chrome.
So many of the links via Windows connect to malware, porn, ads and other crap.
The back button worked most of the time, but there were occasions where I just had to quit and find another way.
YMMD.
Good Luck!
from within Bootcamp, download htc-fastboot.exe from here to bootcamp Downloads folder.
https://www.htcdev.com/process/legal_fastboot_win
conventional fast boot will not work with this update.
download USB drivers and adb from here to Downloads folder. 64b for Windows 7 and a modern Mac.
https://www.theandroidsoul.com/download-htc-one-m7-drivers-windows-usb-adb/
or here
https://basketbuild.com/filedl/devs?dev=squabbi&dl=squabbi/m7/toolkit/HTCOneToolkit-3.3+-+EoL.exe
or here
https://freeandroidroot.com/download-htc-usb-drivers/
download RUU 7.18.531.35.zip from here to Downloads folder. This is the RUU.zip that was extracted by nkk71.
Its' sources is 7.18.531.35.exe from HTC web page.
The result is RUU 7.18.531.35.zip which one should save a copy of and rename for ease of use. RUU.zip works well.
Plug in M7 via USB.
It should show up when connected which indicates your drivers are good.
You can also check your M7 drivers by opening a command window inside the folder where your RUU.zip is saved.
Shift-right click on Downloads folder where adb, htc_fastboot and RUU.zip are located.
In the resulting Command window Enter: adb devices
which should return the serial number of your M7
If it doesn't. Enter: adb kill-server
Then unplug your M7, wait a few and replug the USB.
Try: adb devices :again
If that works:
In the Command window Enter: adb reboot-bootloader
you should now be in fastboot USB on the phone.
Now enter:
fastboot devices
You should see the serial of your M7.
Now enter:
fastboot reboot
Unplug the M7 briefly.
Replug and wait for BootCamp to recognize again. A couple minutes depending on your Mac and OS.
Open your Downloads folder in Bootcamp.
On the left sidebar of folders, drives, etc., Shift click the Downloads folder and select "open command window here". This step is very important and will prevent your from tearing your hair out.
In the resulting Command window Enter: adb devices
see your device serial as before.
Enter: htc_fastboot oem rebootRUU
you should see the gunmetal colored screen with the HTC logo on it.
Enter: htc_fastboot flash zip RUUM7v35.zip
you should see ......... the green progress bar
the 1st pass of the process took my 2013 MBA (running BC) just shy of 7 mins.
then the green progress bar stalls about 3/4 thru on the M7.
Don't fret. That's normal (who knows why). There may be and error at the end, or there may not. Very exacting science here.
again Enter: htc_fastboot flash zip RUUM7v35.zip
The 2nd pass took about 5 mins before it stalled about 3/4 again.
perhaps I was impatient waiting for a restart as some places have indicated the M7 should do.
Instead I typed: fastboot reboot.
After a minute, the process of "updating Android" begins on the M7.
Depending, it might take 5-10 mins to complete.

My M7 is quite stable after this update.

[Q] install using recovery.(help please)

Hi.
Dexter tell us: "Rename downloaded patch to update.zip and install using recovery.", but i know how to make a update, however how do i make an installation using recovery?
I only would like to know all the steps to install FolioMod v1.4 correctly.
Please tell me the steps like i was fool
Thanks a lot.
Help please
It's quite clear in the TXT attached in the mod, but if you prefer there are two alternative procedures in the #1 post of the thread. The update is not particulary difficult to execute, if you need more info please post a printscreen or better explain what's failling.
Rename downloaded patch to update.zip and install using recovery.

That's not true when you downloaded Foliomod 1.4
In the Foliomodv14.zip is a file called update.zip, the file update.zip should be copied to a SDCard and the follow the given instructions.
Today I wanted to install Modfolio 1.4 and after preparing my SDcard I had those weird messages Can't mount SD-card can't find update.zip while attempting to upgrade from a Modfolio 1.3d ...
I read alot and here is how I solved the issue... If fact I applied all the recommanded methods ...
First I prepared a new SD-card I took my SD-CARD under linux mint I used disk remove the partition and made a 1GB new partition utility.
Formated it in FAT32 and put on it the update.zip file on it.
I started my folio tablet and activated in settings > applications> usb debugging ( not sure this has anyeffect)
- I installed Android SDK + Google usb driver
- I updatate the android_winusb.inf
- I copyed to $android_sdk/tools the recovery.img from dexter's update-recovery.zip
- I rebooted my folio and put it in fastboot mode (3 time pow then vol+). I plugged my folio 100
with usb to my desktion computer.
- In windows, CMD.EXE I navigated to $android_sdk/tools and I used
fastboot erase recovery
fastbot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot console output was:
sending 'recovery' (4964 KB)... OKAY [ 0.325s]
writing 'recovery'... OKAY [ 0.733s]
finished. total time: 1.058s
- I rebooted my folio100 entered the recovery mode (pow +, pow -, pow +) and the install of the Modfolio 1.4 started smoothly. 5 minutes later it was all done...
Which method was the one really effective ? I don't know but it was fun to try them all at once . I think changing the recovery.img isn't a bad thing and resizing the SD-card to 1 GB isn't a bad thing too... And it can be reverted anytime.
Thank you dexter for your hard work ! So far this Modfolio 1.4 is waaaaaay better anything else. I will never understand lazy companies wasting awesome hardware with cheap port of android OS...

[HOWTO][CM7 ALPHA2.1] FIX - sdcard storage mounts as readonly

This has been reported at http://code.google.com/p/cmtouchpad/issues/detail?id=436&start=100.
In order to fix this, reboot your touchpad into webOS. Fire up novacom on your computer, and run the following:
Code:
umount /dev/store/media
fsck.vfat -vy /dev/store/media
The issue is due to the Android fsck not working correctly, so it's not able to fix filesystem issues. Once you run the above and reboot to CM7, the sdcard should no longer remount as readonly.
This helped alot thanks.
My touchpad seems to be in read only mode. Not able to webos doctor properly because of it. Cant reinstall cyanogenmod either. I have access to webos recovery and clockwork mod. Any command to get write access back?
Used novaterm for commands
Noob Question
Hi, I'm really new at this and I'm having the same problem stated above. I was able to load CM7, Alpha 2 on my Touchpad and all seemd well until I started downloading apps. Now, SD storage is full yet seeing plenty of storage left under settings. Could you please give step-by-step instructions for the fix above? For instance, do I load webOS then go into USB mode or do I go into USB mode during the webOS reboot using the volume up button? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Here's what you do:
If you installed the novacomd drivers which you should have to get preware going then do the following.
1. Hook up your touchpad to the pc, and boot it up to web os. Don't mount the usb drive just leave it alone.
2. Navigate to C:\Program Files\Palm, Inc\terminal and double click novaterm the windows batch file. The icon will look like two cogs.
3. In the new window select file connect.
Type fsck.vfat -vy /dev/store/media and hit enter.
You're done. exit the screen and restart into cm7, everything should be back to normal now.
I keep getting an error when double clicking novaterm. It will open up a terminal window and an error message saying "javaw" on the top with the following text: "Windows cannot find 'javaw'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again."
Any help is appreciated!
It's because you have installed a wrong version of Java (same problem for me, I installed a x86 version and i've got a x64).
So uninstall it completely
If you have a x64, install the right version of java SE Development kit
And everything would work great ! (worked for me)
Thanks! That allowed me into get into novaterm. And the fix works!!!
Hi,
hope this is the right place to post but I'm using Ubuntu 11.04 and when trying to enter the command via novacom I receive the following error:
Code:
bad or error response from other side: 'err -1 bad command string'
the novacom drivers are corectly installed (I managed to flash CM onto the touchpad with the ACMEinstaller) and I can see the touchpad when typing the following command:
Code:
novacom -l
I'm sure this is down to my inexperience with using novacom rather then the drivers etc. Can anyone help?
Thanks

novacomd should be running (check it ps -ef | grep novacom).
You want to start novaterm (assuming novacomd is already running) and enter the command there. (Not as a command line argument to novacom).
So, it should look something like this:
Code:
$ ps -ef | grep novacomd
root 8331 1 0 13:37 ? 00:00:00 /opt/Palm/novacom/novacomd
$ novaterm

I try to click file->connect, but every time it says "unable to connect service."
I boot into WebOS 3.0.4, connect to USB, and doesn't select to mount TP.
Anyone can help?
Just tried this fix on Alpha 3, after SD card said it was unmounted. I booted onto Web OS, connected to PC. Hit cancel when it asked me to turn on USB mode. Navigated to Crogram Files / Palm.Inc/ Novacom/ Novaterm. Ran Novaterm, typed in the commands as spelled out here, also tried copy pasting the command to make sure it wasn't spelling or caps that was the issue, it did its thing. Unplugged, rebooted to CM 7, and nothing, still says SD card was removed, please mount a new one. Can anyone help?
Oh yeah, even more troubling, now when the TP goes to sleep it fails to come back. The only way to bring it back is to reboot.

Sorry to say but sounds like the clusters are all messed up. Only way I got around this was in webOS secure wipe all. The most secure method and it will redo all the partitions. Takes a couple hours and you will lose all data but after that, I was back in business.

i did a regular wipe and it cured my sd card problems.
I am attempting the fix as well. When I attempt to run Novaterm, I get the message: "Could not find the main class: de/mud/jta/Main. Program will exit" under Java Virtual Machine Launcher.
I'm running 32bit Vista.
Any help appreciated!
Does the secure WebOS wipe remove CM7 as well? Do you need to reinstall CM7 after? If so, how does it correct the SD Card Read Only problem?
I am running CM7 Alpha 3 (upgraded using Clockwork Mod) and I can't download anything to my Touchpad. Says "SD Card Full" while viewing "Storage" under Settings says I have over 25G free. CM7 won't download, save or play any Audio/Video or other files.
I tried the fix mentioned above, but got message: "Could not find the main class: de/mud/jta/Main. Program will exit". I have deleted and reinstalled Java and get the same message. 32Bit Vista OS on desktop.
Any Ideas?? Many thanks.
After this command (fsck.vfat -vy /dev/store/media) i get
Reclaiming unconnected clusters.
Any ideas how to fix this?
I just installed the 3.5 update to both a 32gb and 16gb which had been running 3.0.
The end result is that both machines now state that the sd card is not mounted. Should I try the above fixes on 3.5 or is the suggested fix only for 2.1?

[HOW-TO] using fastboot on mac os X

Hi,
It take me a bit of time to find how to flash a kernel using fastboot on os X. Therefore I've decided to add a new post about that on XDA for those who want/need to use fastboot on mac os X.
Example given for a Sony Xperia ARC LT15i. This should work for any SE device but will need different vendor ID value for another Brand.
Installation
- Download and extract Android SDK (let's say on the Desktop for the rest of the explanation…)
- Add "Android SDK Platform-Tools" with android SDK Manager
- Download fastboot for mac here http://www.mediafire.com/?0nwuina1ydi
- extract it in android-sdk/platform-tools/
Configuration
Next you need to update the PATH for tools/ and platform-tools/ folder.
- Open Terminal app and type
Code:
nano ~/.bash_profile
- Add the following two lines and change the (username) with the name of your mac os X account name :
Code:
export PATH=${PATH}:/Users/(username)/Desktop/android-sdk/tools
export PATH=${PATH}:/Users/(username)/Desktop/android-sdk/platform-tools
- Save by typing Control+X and then Y
From now you can use fastboot command on your mac os X
The only thing to know is that you will need to use the "i" argument to specify the vendor id of the phone
Code:
./fastboot-mac -i 0xfce flash boot boot.img
Here is the official vendor IDs list http://developer.android.com/guide/developing/device.html#VendorIds but the SE one is not exactly the same and I don't know why
This help have been made using the following sources:
- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1280516
Feel free to add specific vendor IDs
I've followed these instructions and entered the following command:
Code:
fastboot-mac -i 04E8 oem unlock
But I'm still met with the error...
Code:
-bash: fastboot-mac: command not found
What am I STILL doing wrong?? Any help is greatly appreciated!
as said you have not st the path correctly.. try that.. or try with running the command from the folder where you have the file fastboot-mac..
Sent from my HTC One V using Tapatalk 2
I tried the above and I got:
./fastboot-mac -i 0xfce flash boot boot.img
error: cannot load 'boot.img'
Any suggestions?
it doesnt work, waste of time...
It does work. If it isn't working for you its a user error or bad downloads. Instead of posting something like this where no one can help you since we don't know what the problem is, try posting what the results are when you type the commands and include the commands that you enter. THEN we could possibly help you.

Hi I am having nothing but troubles I don't suppose anyone could help? I just cannot seem to get fastboot working on my mac I tried installing andoir studio and the separate platform-tools folder. Nothing works. I tried your instructions and whenever I try any commands I always get command not found.
Tried this but my device is still not recognized in fastboot mode just says waiting for device even if I give vendor id also. I have kenzo

[Q&A] Unlock Bootloader on Mac OS X - Rezound

Q&A for Unlock Bootloader on Mac OS X - Rezound
Some developers prefer that questions remain separate from their main development thread to help keep things organized. Placing your question within this thread will increase its chances of being answered by a member of the community or by the developer.
Before posting, please use the forum search and read through the discussion thread for Unlock Bootloader on Mac OS X - Rezound. If you can't find an answer, post it here, being sure to give as much information as possible (firmware version, steps to reproduce, logcat if available) so that you can get help.
Thanks for understanding and for helping to keep XDA neat and tidy!

I had trouble unlocking the bootloader on my iMac but got it to work.
Just posting this to help out my fellow Mac Heads who've turned from the evil iPhone.
Unlocking your bootloader will probably or definitely void your warranty. I am in no way responsible for you screwing up your beautiful Rezound. (K, that's out of the way.)
Prep work:
1. I had an old Android SDK and couldn't get it to work.
HTC Dev site stated I only needed adb and fastboot for this (but I don't remember when I actually used an adb command). Anyhoo... download the latest Android SDK from the link provided by HTC Dev from the link at the right side (as your following the process). Save and uncompress it in the root of your hard drive and rename it ' android ' (no single quotes) - this step just makes it easier.
2. Check if there is a 'platform-tools' folder. If not then in the 'tools' folder just double click the 'android' file and it'll open Terminal and run the Android SDK Manager app. I only checked the 'Android SDK Platform-tools' for installation but you can install whatever else you want. Click the button 'Install (x) package' close to the bottom right. After it's done you'll find the 'platform-tools' folder and that's where adb will be. (Like I said, I don't remember using any ./adb commands, though)
NEXT FOLLOW THE HTC WEBSITE STEPS
(this is on the website)
1. After you've pulled the battery and placed it back in, hold VolumeDown and Power button to restart. At white screen, select Fastboot with volume rocker and hit the power button. Connect cable from phone to mac.
2. Download the Mac version of the Fastboot in Step 5 of the HTC Website. Uncompress it and place it in the root of the 'android' folder. Rename it 'fastboot' (without single quotes) from 'fastboot-mac'.
3. Open a new Terminal window (Applications/Utitilies).
Type: cd /android
(that's if you had placed the android folder at the root of your hard drive) or you can type: cd then <space> then drag the android folder from a finder window into the terminal window
hit return
Type: ./fastboot oem get_identifier_token
4. Per the instructions at the HTC Website Step 9, Copy the Identifier token text.
(I copied and pasted it into a text app and deleted the "(bootloader)" text in there, then copied the resulting text.)
5. Paste into HTC Website Step 10 inside the "My Device Identifier Token:" box and hit submit.
If it goes through you'll get a Congratulations webpage and your unlock file will be sent to your registered email.
6. Download the Unlock_code.bin file into the android folder where the 'fastboot' file should be.
7. Go back into the Terminal window.
Type: ./fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin
8. Your phone should go off and come up with an Unlock Your Phone screen. Use the volume rocker to select Yes and hit the Power button. Should restart and you're good to go.
Good luck!

Error 160 MID Not Allowed
Your tutorial's been going well for me up until I put the Identifier Token into the HTCdev site. When I submitted it, it gave me "Error 160, MID Not Allowed"
The only help i found was on another XDA thread, but i can't post links since I'm new on here. Their solution was using a PC program (Hasooon's 2000 HOX AIO), which doesn't really work since I'm on mac. I'm confused on how to get it working :/ Is there a way to do it without using PC?
This is my first time doing anything like this, so I'm a bit lost.
btw: I'm doing this on an HTC One X, I figured everything should still work the same even though it's not a rezound.

{GUIDE} HOW TO LG-D-631 [ATT] (fastboot, unlock bootloader, cwm)

I understand that there is a seperate thread for the LG G Vista, but I was hoping that it was okay to post this. I noticed that there is not any guide on how to install CWM on the D-631 so here is a guide on how to do just that.
First of all..... you will need to enable USB Debugging.
To do this
\go to 'Settings' then 'About Phone' then 'Software Information' then click 'Build number' 7 times or so until it says 'You are now a developer!'
go back to 'Settings' and scroll down to the new box Developer Options
turn it on, and enable USB Debugging. ( I also check stay awake)
I rooted my phone with iRoot, and it installed Kinguser as my super user apk. Whether or not it is the best, I don't know. It just is the only one I could get working.
1. Install The LG Unified drivers from here ( I used LG USB Drivers 3.11)
http://www.mylgphones.com/lg-android-usb-device-drivers
2. Install ADB & fastboot (follow the xda thread here)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2588979
3. now you have to use tese adb commands to zero out the laf partition on your D-631
adb shell
su
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/laf
(I also ran this command to zero out the actual block partition)
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p15
after I eliminated the LG Download so that fastboot takes priority (just as the G3) I could now boot into fastboot.
*Source from here* http://www.theandroidsoul.com/lg-g3-fastboot-mode-61660/
4. boot to fastboot. To do this.. Power down your phone. Hold vol+ and plug your phone into your pc.
It will still say DOWNLOAD MODE at the top, but it should now say 'fastboot processing commands'
5. unlock bootloader with this fastboot command
fastboot oem unlock
*this did not delete anything off my phone*
6. download and flash CWM recovery
Here is the recovery file
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-GvkM12QEbMbWxSV2RHcWRMOWs/view?usp=sharing
also on my main google drive
https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B-GvkM12QEbMeFFxRThfMlRvMWc&usp=sharing
fastboot flash recovery xxxxxxxxx
"xxxxxxx" is your directory of the recovery.img
bam all done.........
but this is what sucks..... fastboot reboot commands dont work. and idk how to fix that, but. I need help with the rest, PLEASE. and also some tweaks on the recovery file will need to be done. I just made it possible for us
so to reboot you must pull your battery.
I still dont know the hard key combo to enter into recovery so I had to install Xposed Framework from here
http://repo.xposed.info/module/de.robv.android.xposed.installer
then from googlen play I downloaded these
Xposed Additions
G3 Tweakbox <------------= This can enable the option for REboot REcovery
Busybox
SD Maid
(I used SDMaid to uninstall Carrier IQ tracking software, but I had to toggle the carrier IQ autostart component that starts with Android System)
So yeah, long nights, long days, but no bricks and now here it is
+XDA (as posted on your thread) and I am not responsible for any damage that may be caused.
=Do not steal this, give credit where it is due, link it here to this thread please.
Sorry I did not see the area for the guides and I apologize about that.
Also I forgot to thank everyone who gave their time on the LG G3 fast-boot project, as without your information I would not have been able to do this.
Also thanks to Google translate lol.... I couldnt have read Korean
great work friend
I delete some system files and now I cannot install anything from Google Play
I follow you method and I have CWM installed on my device can you help me to say how flash recovery to IMG FILES from you google drive all files are IMG not .tar ...
What files did you delete? I may be able to pull them with titabium backup and send you them all in a .zip file or something like that.
I used the fastboot commands to flash partitions.
fastboot flash xxxx <dir>
Where dir is the directory of said file to be flashed.
However installing apk's and what not i am not sure on how to do that.
Ill create some files in the .tar format as well. Im attempting to compile an un-official .bin, ,.tot, .dz or .kdz file for the d631. I have dzcreate and what nots. Its just that i drove away with my phone on the bumper and have to wait for my new screen from amazon.

Thank you! I just pulled your recovery image for the D631 and used flashify to flash it. Now custom CWM recovery is working fully!! Thank you for your work. I am looking into porting a rom to our device so that all of us G Vista owners have some options! Now that we have root and custom recovery we are almost there!

Man dude that would be awesome. I will even help in aid of development. I dont know exactly what to do but im sure that i could figure something out with all the guides here on xda.
I am in need of other devs to help out...but it looks like none are able..so i dunno where to go from here. Looks like we are stuck.

Msm8226 is the board for the d631. It is also the board for the v410 lte tablet. Is there any compatibility between the two

Once rooted with one click, you can install the quick boot app from the Play store and use it to reboot into recovery.

I understand that there is a seperate thread for the LG G Vista, but I was hoping that it was okay to post this. I noticed that there is not any guide on how to install CWM on the D-631 so here is a guide on how to do just that.
First of all..... you will need to enable USB Debugging.
To do this
\go to 'Settings' then 'About Phone' then 'Software Information' then click 'Build number' 7 times or so until it says 'You are now a developer!'
go back to 'Settings' and scroll down to the new box Developer Options
turn it on, and enable USB Debugging. ( I also check stay awake)
I rooted my phone with iRoot, and it installed Kinguser as my super user apk. Whether or not it is the best, I don't know. It just is the only one I could get working.
1. Install The LG Unified drivers from here ( I used LG USB Drivers 3.11)
http://www.mylgphones.com/lg-android-usb-device-drivers
2. Install ADB & fastboot (follow the xda thread here)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2588979
3. now you have to use tese adb commands to zero out the laf partition on your D-631
adb shell
su
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/laf
(I also ran this command to zero out the actual block partition)
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p15
after I eliminated the LG Download so that fastboot takes priority (just as the G3) I could now boot into fastboot.
*Source from here* http://www.theandroidsoul.com/lg-g3-fastboot-mode-61660/
4. boot to fastboot. To do this.. Power down your phone. Hold vol+ and plug your phone into your pc.
It will still say DOWNLOAD MODE at the top, but it should now say 'fastboot processing commands'
5. unlock bootloader with this fastboot command
fastboot oem unlock
*this did not delete anything off my phone*
6. download and flash CWM recovery
Here is the recovery file
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-GvkM12QEbMbWxSV2RHcWRMOWs/view?usp=sharing
also on my main google drive
https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B-GvkM12QEbMeFFxRThfMlRvMWc&usp=sharing
fastboot flash recovery xxxxxxxxx

Wonderful work btw. Needed this thread. I only had one problem!!1
I made int all the way down to Step 6 and got hung up. I have renamed the the file to "recovery.img" and I entered "fastboot flash recovery c:\users\jason\desktop\recovery.img" (file location\file) and Command window says,
target reported max download size of 536670912 bytes
sending 'recovery' (10465 KB)......
okay [ 0.406s]
writing 'recovery'....
FAILED (remote unknown command)
Finished. total time: 0.422s
No CWM recovery... where have i gone wrong?
Thanks in advance.

If you are rooted, you could try using flashify. It worked for me. It'll load cwm first and reboot, but after the second try you should be up and running.
Questions???Anything on the update for this device thanks
System Dump
I currently have a full system dump of the lg g vista d631 on android version 4.4.2 for the purpose of roms. The one issue I have is I'm not able to get a hold of 2 files, "WCNSS_qcom_cfg.ini" and "WCNSS_qcom_wlan_nv.bin". They are located in the directory etc/firmware/wlan/prima. They are important for wifi connectivity and I don't want to build a rom without them. Can anyone retrieve them?
Edit: I've gotten everything now. I'll work on building a rom for testing.
How would I go about retrieving those two files

I have the 2 files that you need but I need a email address to send it to you
Any kdz file or anything how to update to 5.0

Where you able to get a rom put together? I have the d631 5.0.2 rooted and removed the wrong contacts apk and now can't save any contacts. Do you have a way to retrieve the apks from this version?

Where is the update zip? I have seen a lot of stuff about kdz and tot files but I don't see anything identifying if they're for the AT&T version of the LG G Vista or the Verizon version.
