Hi folks,
Just went onto Samsung Apps and I got an update to UNAService.
Any idea what that could be?
There was a longer description underneath, but I didn't quite catch it in time to see what it was. Doh!
It updates the Samsung App app.
unaservice update
For the past few days i have been trying to use my samsung and quik vid app but it always pops up that there is an update. But when i click to allow update it always goes to update incomplete. Just wondering what i would need to do to be able to get these apps working again. Any suggestions?
Hi, I have been trying to download some apps for my galaxy note but in the market place the app does not even show up. I know these apps are compatiable because i have seen them on other notes, and online. Such as omni sketch. When I search the play store it does not show up anywhere, and when i googled omnisketch android store and clicked the link it brought me to the play store page but i could not download it. The same goes for samsung apps application, and zen brush.
My atnt note is rooted and has the saurom rom on it , but i did not overclock or anything. Also i read up on the q and a for the saurom rom and did not find my answer. But i did not apply the atnt fix because I am not using atnt i am using t-mobile hspa+
Any help guys? Also my language says english us but when i click it it changes to english canada so i restored it from a nandroid backup i did when i first flashed the rom and it now says english us and i have not clicked it again so far but i think it is actually english canda? Anyway i can fix this too
Thanks!
I'm having this same problem on my AT&T note flashed with Saurom 7.1...
A bunch of apps that are even ADVERTISED as optimized for galaxy note say
"This app is incompatible with your AT&T Samsung SAMSUNG-SGH-I717." on google play...but if I find the apk for it on my own and install it it works...
why is this happening? can't install:
Jotter
OmniSketch
Zen Brush
Colors! for Galaxy Note
OnLive (even lists galaxy note in description though)
Air Penguin
...the list goes on and on. Why is google play telling me my device is not compatible with these apps even though it is?
Yeah exact problem i was having. Except i didnt manually try installing the apks since some of them were paid apps. Idk why it doesnt make any sense, and i havent found a solution either.

I JUST fixed it! Woooo! I'm not sure exactly what did it but these are the steps I took:
Went to application settings and cleared the data for google play store.
Rebooted phone. (which also reset my DPI from 240 to default)
Started play store...it said it was upgrading from android market bla bla.
Still didn't work.
Uninstalled touchscreen tune.
Messed around with Chainfire pro (made sure no plug in was in use)
all of a sudden my apps are back...it alerted me of the Dolphin HD update (which was incompatible before) and i'm downloading Jotter and Air Penguin as I type this!
I had the same problem. I solved it by using the PAID version of LCD Density Modder. The free version was not enough.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.birdapi.android.dpipro&hl=en
As soon as I updated to the paid version, I got notified of about 30 apps that needed to be updated. Previously those apps were not compatible and were installed through Titanium Backup.
So the dpi/lcd density is the problem?? Thats weird cus i havent changed my dpi or anything its still at stock.
Hmm I'm not sure what to do. I have the same issue, but I haven't messed with the dpi or anything, and I don't have either of the two apps you listed there. I'm on the stock ICS rom, is there anothet way to fix my issue?

LCD density modder (free version) is what I was using to change DPI too. I guess restarting and having the DPI reset is what fixed it or in other words, changing DPI is what caused the problem. It's weird though cause it didn't work till like 10 minutes after the phone was rebooted even though it was at default DPI immediately after the reboot.
For you guys who are still having problems and haven't messed with DPI....do you have chainfire? Try uninstalling or setting everything to default. Or try clearing the Google Play Store application data
I have super user chain fire and i havent messed with anything there either. Ive tried clearing the play store app data and nothing..
Still no luck. This is really annoying me. Why is it not working. Do you guys think going back to stock would help?

THANKS!! I did this on my lenovo tablet and it worked perfectly and fixed everything. It even brought back the movie tab which went missing after market upgraded to google play. I too had about 30 updates to do after it fixed everything. Thanks a mill!! =)
Smart Updates (Delta Updates) from Play Store were working fine until now.
From the past month and half, I have observed that the Smart Updates seem to have been disabled or stopped for all the apps.
The entire app is downloaded again, wasting time and precious data.
Am I missing some settings on my phone/account ?
Has anyone else experienced this ?
Samsung Galaxy S II, GT-I9100
JB 4.1.2, Chameleon ROM 3.0.1
Jeboo Kernel v1.3

Even I'm facing the similar issue. Every time I update an App entire App gets downloaded, Smart Updates are not working for me either. I googled about this but I couldn't find any official statement from Google regarding this, I also posted about this on Google Forums last month but there is no reply from anyone :crying:
I am merely speculating...
But the app developers themselves must have stopped providing delta updates !
:silly:
Anyone else with similar experience !??
Well..
Last night I updated a few applications and it seems that - Smart Updates is working fine..
So it was merely a case of bad timing.. and I panicked to soon.. :silly:
I confirm again - Smart Updates are working in Play Store..
what i think is the google play sometimes fail to detect the delta so google thinks the app update it's whole app. bcz i've tried upload a 3mb apk myself to google play, and upload another update with adding a small image abt 100kb, but after that in the client side the google play still download the whole 3mb.
I think I'm getting "Package file is invalid" error because of delta updates.
What happens is that when Play Store tries to update an app or download and install a new one from the Store.. the Downloader shows the file is downloaded more than the PS shows it is downloaded. For example when downloading Maps to the phone I see in PS the download is at 5% but Downloader show in notification area that its downloaded 13%.. so when the download reaches 54% or so in PS.. Downloader says its done and phone tries to install an incomplete apk giving the error.
This does not happen on all but some apps for me.. I tried clearing the data/cache for Downloader/Gapps and delte cache/dalvik from recovery but still happening.. I cannot download plugins for my Go Launcher Ex now
I wish I could turn delta downloads off.

I think it's called "Samsung Hub" now. When I went there it had movies, games, and other stuff to download or purchase.
So before I rooted my s4 I tried the s health app and I could not get past the profile screen. I lost interest after a several attempts. I rooted my phone and still running the stock firmware. I figured after a roughly 1 1/2 months samsung would put through an update. I went to open the s health app and still no luck.
I'm on a version galaxy s 4 and was wondering if anyone else is having this issue?
Note: I searched before I posted and found no threads related to this issue.

Clear app data?
Sent from my SCH-I545 using xda premium
Cleared app data and un installed updates. Once I set up the profile and hit next, I get a black screen and the app crashes with the error message " s health stopped responding". Very annoying as I had this problem since day 1.
Rooted S4
Is there anyone else on this board that is rooted and has a working s health apk?

Ok so I floated over to the at&T Q&A section and apparently if you have the multi window hack installed on your phone it will cause the s health app to crash!.
I uninstalled the hack and immediately when I opened up s health an update was available. apk was update to version 2.1.5 and I have no issues any more. But i lost the multi window hack which was pretty sweet.
Workaround? Samsung multi-window manager from the Play store.
found a fix
Mutli window manager I got paid version but just add s health to black list it will update and wha la
