AICP is known by everyone as Ice Cold Project that started on Desire HD and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!
Until Lollipop, Rom has always been AOKP based. Unfortunately, since AOKP either stopped development or will make a comeback later this year, we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.

KERNEL:
Kernel in this rom follows CM source directly.
PREREQUISITE FOR OTA:
To be able to flash over OTA app, TWRP recovery is needed.
You can still use CWM and OTA app, but only to download zip file and flash it manually from within recovery. Zip gets saved under AICP_ota folder.

ROMS & Bug Reporting
ROMS should contain everything you need to enjoy Marshmallow. It is not required to install any Add Ons, simply download the latest ROM, gapps, flash it, and go!
You are STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup - these can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug. If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience strange behavior.
We are fine with you installing any mods you require, have fun, enjoy. BUT while reporting bugs, we advice you to report bugs if and only if you have exactly and only the ROM+Gapps. No additional mods.
We have an inbuilt logger in the AicpExtras app. So be sure to use that while recreating logs and posting it here.
In case you can't log it, then make sure to tell us the exact procedure on how to recreate any bugs.
How to flash:
Don't do it if you don't know it
Gapps - they are needed for OTA to work
ROM has gapps persistance in between dirty flashes
You want to see a normal night at the DEV office, click here!!

We removed it after merging 8.0 final patch so some devices will get it, some won't..
I wanted to hide it like other pic but forgot, but I've now just pushed a patch that will do just that so it will be back in the next nightly.. Not yet merged. will be after testing

There is also broken os, minimal os, and few others... But they're not in oneplus x anyway. Oh! @FabioSan is going to build Tipsy OS and it has layers. But CM theme engine is better though. Just check Radius theme by Andre Zimmerman in playstore and you'll see why cm theme engine is way better.

I m not the one who ediited the kernel. The kernel based on cm and some edits made by them... Till the Kcal is integrated to their sources of kernel i cannot do anything.sorry

Battery z at its best.. N depends on ur usage. So

1 - theme can't be customized
2 - If someone have issue with playstore like stuck on download just clear data

It is like the cm14.1 but screen recording is fixed . bugs as same as the los . thanks for the rom
I have found the one. Is that brightness slider doesnt matches with the notifivation slider i mean when i slide the brightness from the notification. It outmatches the position of the slider on the notification pannel . its like happens sometimes .

Annother issues is like when i play clash royale i cannot access the notification pannel . is this ok? Or a little bit fix is needed i think .

lasted build of CM14.1 working everything but bug is file manager and offline charge..
It works this rom like CM14.1?
work GPS ? Work Ril complete ? Is Video codec Ok? can i record screen cast?
