No item can be chosen in recovery mode - Moto 360 2015

On my Moto 360 Sport, after upgrading to AW 2.0, when I access recovery mode there is no possibility to choose any item from the menu (swipe up/down or right/left does not work). Pressing the on/off button, after an error message that is too quick to be read, the watch reboot in normal mode. With previous firmware version (AW 1.5) all worked correctly. Does anyone have the same issue?

yes, here the same issue ;-(

appears a lot of opitions... any one know all??? and the funccion?
tks

You've stumbled into a bar on the wrong side of town, mi amigo!
Seriously, before you go trying to actually use any of these menus, you will want to read this post in its entirety:
[Updated 8-2-2011] THE BEGINNERS (N00B) GUIDE!!! N00BS LOOK HERE FOR YOUR HOW TOs
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1154600
That being said, here are some notes on how this works on the Atrix 4G.
Fastboot menu
- Power on phone
- Press and hold Volume Down key as soon as green power light goes out
- Wait until "Fastboot" appears on Motorola splash screen
- Press Volume Down key to cycle through menu items
- Press Volume Up key to select item
The three most important items in the Fastboot menu for Moto modding are Android Recovery, Fastboot, and RSD:
Android Recovery
- Enter Fastboot main menu and select "Android Recovery"
- Wait until Exclamation mark and Android icons appear on screen
- Tap lower right-hand corner of screen to open system recovery menu (for newer firmware versions, press the Volume Up/Down keys simultaneously)
- Press Volume Up or Volume Down keys or tap menu to select item
- Rotate phone to LANDSCAPE orientation and tap lower corner of screen near "OK" to accept selected item (or press the Volume Up/Down keys simultaneously)
Fastboot protocol support
- Power on phone
- Enter Fastboot main menu (as previously explained) and select "Fastboot"
- Wait until "Starting Fastboot protocol support" appears on screen
RSD protocol support
- Power on phone
- Press and hold Volume Up key as soon as green power light goes out
- Wait until "Starting RSD protocol support" appears on screen
- OR -
- Enter Fastboot main menu (as previously explained) and select "RSD"
Android Recovery is a GUI interface for wiping the phone/restoring to factory defaults and applying firmware updates. Recovery packages consist of a zip file containing partition images and a script to tell the recovery program what to do with them. It's common practice to replace the stock recovery program with ClockworkMod (CWM) Recovery. For the Atrix 4G you'll need to use a special version - Tenfar's CWM Recovery Mod for Atrix 4G: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1138541
Fastboot protocol requires a USB connection to a command terminal on a PC. Partition .img files are applied directly to the phone memory. You won't want to mess with this until you've read and understood the N00B Guide at the link posted above.
RSD protocol also requires a USB connection. Commands can be issued via a terminal window or a Windows GUI program called "RSD Lite". RSD uses SBF (Single Binary Format) image files instead of the partition image files used by Android Recovery and Fastboot. You also don't want to mess with this until you've thoroughly studied all the info in the N00B Guide.
When you feel you have a basic grasp of how this all works, then here's the easiest method for unlocking your Atrix 4G:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1182871
This all-in-one program will automatically unlock your phone, install Tenfar's CWM recovery, and install su for root access. You won't need to install ADB or RSD Lite or anything else on your PC except for the Motorola USB drivers. I used this one myself after lurking and reading here for about a month. Worked like a charm for me.
Good Luck!
Updating the thread to say... at this point the recommended Atrix recovery is romracer's version, posted here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1204500
romracer is actively maintaining this version, and it correctly handles backups and restores to/from both the internal storage and the external SD card.
After you run mramirezusa's unlock/recovery/root script (see link in previous post), you can use Tenfar's recovery to install romracer's recovery.
Just noticed that the OP appears to be posting from Brazil... (but then again, I'm not really posting from Antarctica...)
OP, if you don't have an AT&T phone then mramirezusa's script is not for you. Sorry for the confusion...

i cant access the recovery mood.. its showing no command....my device is also hp7 voice tab.. pls help me..
Power off your tab, then press & hold power and volume up. Select recovery mode, you'll see no command with the dead android guy on it. Now press power and volume up once again. Now you're in the stock recovery menu
But if you are planning to install a custom rom on it there are some problem. First you have to unlock the boot loader, you can do it by installing android sdk on your pc.
The second problem which you're gonna face is there is no custom recovery made for this device. So its lillte tricky process.

[Guide] Samsung M30 Recovery (TWRP) and Root (Magisk) - Detailed Redux

Summary - After two weeks of research (mostly on XDA) I took the risk and decided to root my new Samsung M30. Suffice to say I was extremely apprehensive given numerous reports of bootloops, recurring seven day OEM device locks, crashes, hangs and general instability. After following specific steps that combine several sources, I successfully rooted my device. Moreover, key root applications are all working well (AFWall+ Firewall, AdAway, Root Explorer)! This guide shows what I did.
Credits to Sahir_Sonar (most of the work are the fruits of his labours)

Downloads
RMM_Bypass_v3_corsicanu.zip (attached)
no-verity-opt-encrypt-6.1.zip (attached)
Magisk-v20.0.zip (attached)
Copy these three files (above) to phone's external SD card.
Odin3 v3.13.1 (or later)
recovery.tar (TWRP 3.3.1 for Galaxy M30) Download here
MagiskManager-v7.3.5.apk (via Google Play later)
Unlock Bootloader
Ensure you are using the correct device and OS version for your Samsung M30.
From Settings, tap About phone then Software information.
One UI Core 1.1
Android verion 9 (aka Pie)
If you have Android version 10 (aka Q), you need to downgrade the OS, which is beyond the scope of this thread. Essentially, you have to download your specific ROM (that matches your country and baseband) and use Odin3 to flash it.
Enable Developer Options.
From Settings, tap About phone then Software information .
Tap Build Number seven times. Developer Options should now be visible from Settings
From Settings, tap Developer Options
Check (enable) OEM Unlocking.
You are prompted and warned about a Factory reset. It is assumed you have no important data on the phone (or have made an appropriate backup on external SD card). Accept data erasure. Phone will reboot on its own.
Power up phone. It is like new and needs setup from scratch. After your usual setup steps ....
From Settings, tap Developer Options
Check (enable) USB debugging.
Check (enable) OEM Unlocking.
Power off your phone. Press side power button then select Power off twice when presented. Do not wander or tap on other functions of your phone; power off immediately. This is critical to unlocking the bootloader.
If option for OEM Unlocking is not present, your phone is locked. Here are several options to try.
From Settings, tap Software Update the tap Download and install.
Wait till phone complains and rejects your command due to unauthorized modification.
From Settings, tap Developer Options and check if OEM Unlocking is present. If so, check (enable) it then immediately power off as described above.
Flash TWRP and Root
From your PC, extract Odin. Navigate to its folder.
Right click executable and select 'Run as administrator'.
From Odin, click Options tab and uncheck 'Auto Reboot' option.
From Odin, click AP button. Navigate to where to saved the recovery.tar file.
From Odin's dialog box, select recovery.tar file then click Open button.
Power up phone in stock recovery mode.
With phone off, simultaneously press Volume Up and Power button until Samsung logo appears.
From phone's stock recovery mode.
Use Volume Down button to highlight 'Reboot to bootloader '.
Press power button. You are now in download mode.
Connect Type-C USB cable to phone and PC.
Odin will acknowledge connection with 'ID:COM' update and will be highlighted.
From Odin, click Start button and wait for SUCCESS indicator.
Disconnect USB cable.
Reboot phone into TWRP. This is critical and the trickiest part of all.
From phone, press Volume Down + Power button until it blacks out.
Immediate press Volume Up + Power button until TWRP appears.
From TWRP, "Swipe to Allow Modifications'.
From TWRP, tap Home key (on phone) for TWRP main menu.
Tap Wipe button.
Tap Format Data. Then, type 'yes' for data format. Tap 'enter' keyboard button.
Wait till 'Data Format Complete'.
From TWRP, tap Home key (on phone) for TWRP main menu.
Tap Mount button.
Ensure that System, data, cache and Micro SD card are mounted.
From TWRP, tap Home key (on phone) for TWRP main menu.
Tap Reboot button.
Tap Recovery button.
Swipe to 'Install TWRP App'. TWRP rebbots itself.
From TWRP, tap Home key (on phone) for TWRP main menu.
Tap Mount button.
Ensure that System, data, cache and Micro SD card are mounted.
Tap Select Storage button.
Tap Micro SD card. Tap OK.
From TWRP, tap Home key (on phone) for TWRP main menu.
Tap Install button.
Select RMM_Bypass_v3_corsicanu.zip.
Swipe to confirm Flash.
From TWRP, tap Home key (on phone) for TWRP main menu.
Tap Install button.
Select no-verity-opt-encrypt-6.1.zip.
Swipe to confirm Flash. Disregard error message if any.
From TWRP, tap Home key (on phone) for TWRP main menu.
Tap Install button.
Select Magisk-v20.0.zip.
Swipe to confirm Flash.
From TWRP, tap Home key (on phone) for TWRP main menu.
Tap Reboot button.
Tap System button.
The System reboot can take a few minutes and may seem like an eternity. Just be patient. The phone will again be like new and you will have to setup everything from scratch. Later, install Magisk Manager from Google Play.
Enjoy

Question Accessing Recovery Mode to reset the phone

Hello XDA
I was suggested on Reddit that I post my problem with my Nokia 5.4 here instead
I'm trying to open up the phone of which I forgot the password, but I can only access bootloader not Recovery Mode.
Is there any software that can make the phone boot up in the Recovery Mode to entirely reset the phone?
Thanks in the regard
Normally, if you need to recover your phone, you do so through settings. But if you're hacking your phone and bricked it (or cannot log into your phone), most people know you can hold the power button and volume down, then enter recovery.
It's not so simple for Nokia 5.3 (or 5.4)
On Nokia 5.3 (or 5.4), you will see the boot menu, and you can use the volume keys to navigate, but if you select recovery, your phone reboots to what looks like a dead Android and reads, "no command."
The secret is when at this screen, hold power, then press the volume up key, 1x (fast). You now are inside Nokia's secret menu. You can navigate using the volume keys, and you select using the power button. One of the options is "recovery" (which would wipe everything).
However, unlike most recovery menus on generic Android phones, Nokia has left the option to install your own apps and update the phone. I know of no ROMS or apps I can sideload into a Nokia 5.3, but it is interesting. I am curious if it would work or not.
