Camera app option and replacement? - LG G5 Questions & Answers

Hi,
I can't find options to change photo size or aspect ratio to 3:2. Looks like they are not available.
What is a good camera app replacement?
Thanks

Vignette Camera (open it!)
tap on right top corner menu "Custom No frame" (marked with a star)
The first line in effect- make it Custom (or whatever else you want)
Second line- Customize tap on it.
scroll down, and last option you see - is "Digital camera style datestamp"
Enable it

Tried that, but, Vignette has just pleothra of more options! (and I was more comfortable with Vignette)
THanks.

Do you know how to set timestamp on pictures in Camera ZOOM FX? PLease help. thanks
Now try this app named "Auto Stamper" which allow to add current date and time on photo while capture it from smartphone camera. You can make own date and time, Signature and GPS stamps and added it on photo.
Auto Stamper add date and timestamp better way than other photo stamping applications This app allows you to add date and the ime on photo while capturing it from smartphone inbuilt camera.
You can make stamp text more colorful and attractive with a different style, size, color and positions.
Download app for Repactive play stores and enjoy #happystamping

[Q] Is there Camera App that takes pic without processing? Best quality?

Hi all, I'm new here and to the android world,
I have a Q:
I am coming from the graphic design and Photoshop and I knew few things about camera and image processing and after looking in the camera app on android I cant find good app that can just take a pic without processing! (sharpening, noise redaction, etc)
I wonder why no 1 made such app that gives the user option to take the natural photo prom the sensor without the stupid image processing algorithm!
I want the natural photo and edit it later in pro software (Photoshop)
Is the app like this?
I'm not sure if it processes images by default as it has effects that can be manually applied in post photography which might mean it takes pictures unprocessed, but I use a replacement camera app called camera zoom fx and it takes much better pics than my phones default camera app so it might be an option to try.
It also has more pre photograph options and modes such as burst and timelapse modes and more ways to control how the picture is taken such as metering controls.
Its not free but there may be a trial version. I bought it when android market had a sale offer on its top apps but its worth even normal full price.

Actually, I like the idea of RAW image format for Android camera. Is it possible?
There are a handful of great camera apps, some free, some not. I like to use Nemus camera, Camera effects ,and Fast burst, these are all free apps. The first two have some cool effect on them and the last app lets you take 30 shots per second. There is one called Camera Zoom FX that is 2 or 3 bucks. I haven't used it but I have read good things about it. Hope that helps.
If you are talking about app that takes no time and provide good quality selfie or pic. I recommend Camera 365 Beauty app...

LG G5 Camera - Limited Picture Size Options

There doesn't seem to options to adjust the picture resolution in the LG G5 except to change it to 16:9, 4:3 and 1:1.
With camera resolution capacity at 16mp, this will easily deplete my storage space whether I use the internal storage or the external SD card.
I hope LG updates the camera app and adds in more resolution options.
How many pics you taking!? Pics are around 6mb in size so a 16gb as can hold 2700 images. I can't see space being an issue!

Just get a 40$ 128GB card and you're all set.
I was extremely surprised to not find a 3:2 ratio available. Given that there is a huge focus on what the camera can do, it should be there.
I want to use the native camera app, but without 3:2 it's very frustrating. Yes I can crop from a 16:9, but I can't be bothered cropping every single picture I take.
Re the space, as above, buy a 64GB card and save there.
ANy chance someone can help me out with this? much appreciated, really want to be able to take smaller size lower resolution photos.... Any sort of hack ? why is lg doing this not giving the option to change the photo resolution?!

Stock Camera app - 20mpx not in Fullscreen, why?

Hey guys,
The question is pretty much on the title. Stock camera app on 20mpx camera setting, it does not appear in fullscreen, but on 3rd party apps it does work in fullscreen. If I wanna take a fullscreen photo, I gotta downgrade the megapixel's to 15mpx for it to be 16:9.
Why is it like this?
Thank you for any answer!
Hi,
Yes, 20mpx is 4:3 while 15mpx is 16:9, (more) like the screen.
3rd-party apps just use 16:9 resolution PREVIEW and take 4:3 resolution IMAGE while stock app shows what is actually in your viewfinder

10MP Main camera...

If you select 40MP in the awful camera app it will disable a lot of features, so i'll shot 10MP photos which can not fill out a 4k 16:9 screen. This fact and that you can't select the 16:9 format in the camera app bothers me since i usually display the photos on a screen. I haven't seen it mentioned much in reviews or by users, but does it bother anyone else?
The standard ratio of images in mobile camera app is 4:3 due to its sensor size, DSLR is using 3:2, you need to crop it to 16:9 using built-in editor or any 3rd party editing tools. I think action cam is the only gadget that uses 16:9 ratio
